Or they could transition tag him for the exact same amount that his 5th year option would have been and then have the right to match any offers that he receives. But frankly, I prefer the non-exclusive franchise tag which gives us two first rounders if someone wants him badly enough.
It would not really be a "break-out" season, as he has flashed potential all along. It would just be staying healthy long enough to put it all together for a consistent season. Additionally, it is not uncommon for wide receivers to take a few years to hit stride and consistently show their true potential.
