I'm not ready to put this all on TD. I think the deficiency with Anderson is showing but I think more has to do with the coaching. Tom knew he needed a QB and Losman looked good in college (just like Greg Williams looked good interviewing). He made the best strategic decision for the team. I think we are coming to realize that maybe he should have traded up with the 13th pick to get Ben R., Eli or Rivers. If we would have waited to this year, we could have picked up Rodgers (if we didnt trade to get Losman) but I think the end result would have been the same. TD isn't the problem here. I think he has some responsibility but I do believe more falls on the head coach and his offensive coordinator. The defense is sucking it up because they are on the field too long. I truly believe that they would be like last year if they weren't spending so much time on the field. (The defense did look very good early on today but you can only hold on for so long.)

Don't be surprised if the brain trust drafts another WR rather than a need. It would be par for the course.

Cable, it's his decision making. Eli looked a college QB last year, JP looks like he belongs in HS. Maybe I will be wrong with him later on but I don't think the kid's got it. I think the Bills and the TD era made their second horrible first round pick. And I didn't see the tools that I have seen in other rookieish QBs. Any of you that went to the training camp last year must have saw a huge difference betweeen LOsman and Bledsoe. I certainly did. I just didn't want reality to set in yet. Do I think they need to start him for the rest of the year? Yes. Quit yanking him. Reminds of me that Billy Joel Vietnam song: "we'll all go down together." Because that is what's happening.

Once again Eli is not JP. I saw both throw in person last year. Eli is the real deal, JP isn't.

Might as well. We have 2 high school QBs in this league. Losman is horrible. I think the defense would be decent if they weren't on the field for so long. I said this last weak and I will say it again, Losman is no Roethlisberger or Manning. The skills aren't there. We know Losman is weak and now we know Holcomb isn't any better. Might as well shoot for another top 5 pick for next year with Donahoue picking another turkey.

You missed my point. 2004 was a strong draft year for QBs and Losman was picked 4th and only because the Bills needed a QB. I think Losman is weak and I don't see him making it in this league. By the way, why do all of you keep referring back to 2 or 3 QBs to support your arguments? Geez. There have been a gazillion busts and booms with QB but all you clowns can think of is Brady, Couch, or Leaf. Give me a break. Why don't you come up with some other examples rather than the obvious.

There is no comparison here. Palmer is 100x better than Losman. He was a # 1 pick. Losman was the 4th QB picked in the draft.

Tom has done a very good job. The players are not playing to their expectations. Blame the players not the front office. And even if Tom was let go, who is going to replace him? There are not that many GMs that are the caliber of Tom.
