  1. yeah, I know. But players talk about things like that, regardless of the front office. It's too huge not too.
  2. Same here. It goes back to expectations. If the Bills lose the next two games, have him throw 40x a game. If it helps him improve for next season and this season is shot, I'll live with it. We lived with it after Kelly (remember when we went 7-9 after 2-14 and then made it to the AFC championship?) and I am hoping that it happens this year. But I am holding deep reservations at this point. I want to win now. I don't want to flounder through this season and then find out that he doesn't have the mental ability to be an NFL starter. (I do believe the arm strength and mechanics are there so there is some hope.)
  3. I think Chris Berman will let us know the status of Spikes at half time. (I'm sure he still gets insider information.) We need to keep our fingers crossed that he doesn't give us bad news. In this case, no news is good news.
  4. Um...because TD doesn't take ownership for bad decisions. Look at past history. It says it all./
  5. Unfortunately, we are probably going to hear tomorrow that he is out for the season. Did you see the tears in his eyes as he was being carted off the field? Man, it sucks!
  6. Losman can lose the next 13 games at the QB helm and it won't matter, TD won't admit his mistakes. Promo is right regarding the D, they're not getting it done either. The only bright spot I see from Losman is that he has only thrown 1 pick. But on the other hand, he had sure TDs dropped. That pass that was thrown to Campbell that was dropped by DeAngelo Hall should have been 6, last week Brooks should have had 6, and the LB from week 1 should have had 6. Do you see a trend here? It's a big concern because they have been on all similar plays. It's only a matter of time before John Paul starts giving teams 6 points a game. You can't be a good care take when you are letting your team down.
  7. A QB rating of 85 with 18 TD passes and 13 picks is a pretty damn good year for a QB that came in a couple of weeks into the season.
  8. Bottom line: the guy isn't bright. So yes, Darwinism. Just like a lot of those clowns that stuck around for Katrina (and I know a lot of them that did).
  9. Favre in his second year was a pretty damn good QB after the magic man got injured. Favre was so good that when Majikowski recovered from his injury, he never got his starting role back (the magic man was playing well back then too). It was Favre's second year after riding the bench the first year with the dirty birds.
  10. I'm ready for the morphine drip and a lot of you should be too!
  11. Why not? Put the best QB that can win us ball games. If it's JP, I'll run with it. At this point, I don't think it is.
  12. He will be out for the season by Thanksgiving. His poor decisions and/or the OL will do him in. More than likely Darwinism would be my guess. Cable you need to quit trying to cover for this guy. Show me some better decision playing and I will cchange my tune. At this point, the guy is weak.
  13. Frank Reich is hundred times better than JP Losman. Frank Reich got us to our 3rd SuperBowl. He won the games against the Oilers and the Steelers and I thought he played beetter in that SB against the Cowboys than Kelly did. Reich could have started for half the teams in this league.
  14. As somone stated before, alternate starts. That boy is going to get killed out there. He's not ready.
  15. I agree with you on most of us and I don't think what I am saying is nonsense. It's a serious issue. The big problem I am having with JP is his thinking process and that isn't as easy to correct as you think. Look at Bledsoe. He did the same thing he did with the Bills the last couple of years; hold on to the ball way too long. One possible solution would be a change in strategy on offense. Maybe we need a west coaast offense installed. At this point, I'm really worried that we are taking a big step back rather than moving on. Now you can say that we can wait another year or 2 years whatever. It's been 6 six years since we made the playoffs. How long do you want us to wait? I take the BB approach. Start the best QB. If JP is the best QB so be it but at this point I don't think he is. I like the approach of alternating him each week until he proves he can start in the National Football League/.
  16. Yes, Stamer is Spikes backup. To Angelo's defense, he was trying to block the pass and accidentally hit Vick's helmut. It was a bad case of "that sucks" bad luck on that play.
  17. TD should have never drafted this turkey. He was suspect at Tulane, and he is suspect now. We're going to play him and by the time Thanksgiving comes around, he will be out for the season. Darwinism will do him in!
  18. We're always playing for the future. JP is not Jim Kelly and we didn't come off a 2-14 season. It's like let's do it for the kids. LAME. The hell with the kids and the hell with Losman. If he improves in practices in the future, play him, otherwise bench him. Just like kids, the cream always rises to the top. If he is cream, he will eventually rise. I just don't see it at this point.
  19. Don't get me wrong, Fletch is a top 5 MLB but we are going to get a heavy dose of off tackle and sweeps to the left the next couple of weeks until Crowelll proves that he can really play the position. But who knows, maybe Crowell will be a lot better in that position rahter than MLB. I sure hope so.
  20. Texans, Ravens, Saints, etc. I think McNally is doing a good job with what he has. The Bills played a great defense last week and this week McGahee ran with 140 yards with M. Williams out.
  21. That's a good idea. Submit the question to Mularkey this week.
  22. I was referring more to the week before in Tampa Bay where Crowell played the 2nd half after Fletch played the first half. I thought a lot of the defensive play calling was poor and that Spikes had his worst career as a Bill today before getting injured.
  23. It will take him a month before he accumulates 200 yards. I'm ready for Holcomb !
  24. We were getting our asses handed to us while he was in there. I agree with the strength and awareness but I still don't see the speed needed to play at that level. I would like to see them move Posey over and put Stamer in on the other side.
