Keep making sh*t up buddy. You have zero credibility.

Now you're telling lies about me saying I hope the Bills sucked with Trent at the helm? That's nice. Great data dump or no great data dump, I've never stated or secretly wished the Bills to fail regardless of who was at QB. If fans here are now going to resort to outright lying to help support their own misguided opinions then we are all seriously f'd here at TSW. You can distort the facts all you want, but I definitely won't let you get away with lying about what I said bro.

Hmmmm, maybe if we take away Losman's touchdown passes we can somehow win this argument. You guys are too freaking much.
-
If you think that the Bills were letting JP throw the ball in 2007 as early and often as they were in the second half of 2006 then you sir, are crazy.
-
They didn't open it up until the second half of 2006. Do you even watch the games?
-
Sorry, but you've seemed to have contradicted yourself there. Assuming you meant 2006 and not 1996...JP Losman had the worst offensive line in the NFL. Remember that Gandy, Preston and Pennington were actually in our starting lineup. Also, Peerless Price was our starting #2 receiver. In 2006, Dick Jauron and Steve Fairchild gave JP Losman the chance to make chicken salad from chicken sh*t and lo and behold Losman actually did it! In 2007, fresh from getting their "workhorse" RB in Marshawn Lynch, Dickie had the BRILLIANT idea to pull in the reigns and just hammer the opponents with Lynch. It failed miserably. It was an abomination of epic proportions to me. They were dumb, they were dull, they went down in flames to the tune of the 30th ranking in offense. Jauron did have a player and OC who made chicken sh*t into chicken salad. I think that Fairchild was just doing Jauron's bidding in 2007. Jauron is the reason why we sucked so bad on offense last year. Not JP, not Trent...it was Jauron's balless coaching style after getting Marshawn Lynch in the draft. This guy is great a catching passes, but did have plays to get the QBs tossing passes to him??????? Of course he didn't. Jauron's a jackass.

This may have something to do about it... http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/02/29/...kelly-contract/ The Raiders f'd with every team that has star defensive players with that ridiculous contract for a virtual nobody. A lot of FA nobodies got paid way too much by too many stupid NFL owners.
-
They're not going to take him. Jauron told a one of the guys on NFL radio that he saw film on him and to paraphrase...not only was the quality of the film bad, DRC's play wasn't so hot either. The host of the radio program sounded like Jauron was not ready to take on a project corner like Cromartie.
-
It sounds like Edwards is clearly the starter, but if Losman is clearly outperforming Edwards before the start of the season he may actually win the job back. I don't think whoever is the starter gets pulled unless the go on a losing streak against bad competition and the starting QB is at fault. I would certainly hope that they'd do this, wouldn't you? They are just letting Losman know there's at least that chance.
-
Well then DJ's not on the same page as Brandon who told NFL Radio that Losman will be competing for the starting job.
-
I don't think they're taking DRC either. I heard that Jauron was not high on him after seeing the film, too much of a boom-bust type to risk the 11th pick on.
-
I don't see that as happening. Losman will have to make a statement with his limited playing time. As for preseason, the backups usually end up getting the bulk of the work with the second teamers in those games. It could actually end up being 50-50 in the end. The Bills will not want to risk Edwards getting injured playing him too much in preseason games.
-
I see it as letting him know the door is open enough to where if he gives them some jaw dropping play and Edwards looks like he's playing at a substancially lower level then Losman would in fact be named the starter. Is that scenario possible? Sure it is. Is it probable? Not so much. This gives drive to both our QBs to either "get er done" or get out of the way and let the back up give it a go. This Bills team is about winning and getting to the playoffs, it's not about living through anymore growing pains. You can bet that Dick Jauron knows that if he doesn't deliver the goods this years he's probably toast. That's why Losman will remain a Bill, Edwards will either produce or he'll sit the bench and watch Losman start.
-
On the "2:00 Drill" they reported this. Who knows if it's true, but I just thought I'd pass it along. I do hope that it's true though. It would only help Edwards' drive and confidence to actually win the starters job after he failed so badly at the end of last season.

If you call having no speed or athletic moves as being without a major flaw. Nelson will probably be a major reach by some team in the second round, I just hope it's not the Bills.

Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State

Well I think it's safe to say that we feel your opinions on Jordy Nelson being a real solution to our receiving problems are just as bizarre. Sorry, but Desean Jackson will be a MUCH MUCH better pro receiver than Jordy Nelson. That should be very clear to most everyone on this board. -
The Bills should try trading to the very back of RD 1

I like the last two picks but I'd much rather have Jackson, Zuttah, Pollak and either Carlson or Cottam if one of them were still there than to draft Harvey at 11. Harvey only had 8.5 sacks compared to Jackson's 10.5. If Harvey's so good why only the 8.5 sacks? I also read that there are questions about his intensity. He did have a good pro day and combine, but lack of production in college games concerns me enough to go the trade down route and fortify positions so we are not devastated if or when the injury bug hits this team like last season. -

I'm sorry, but Jordy Nelson is not a run after the catch kind of guy. That's complete bu__sh__. Maybe he was in his conference on the collegent level but not a chance in the pros. -

I'm game, please give me the Bills picks that would satisfy you with no trades rounds 1-4 (5 picks total since we have two 4th rd picks). -
Let me first say that I am aware you need other teams to cooperate and trade with the Bills. So here it is, the big IF they could get teams to trade with them that THIS is what I could see the Bills getting in return... FIRST move...Trade the #11 pick to the Vikings (#17) or Eagles (#19) for their 2nd rd pick (giving up our first pick in the fourth rd to make it fair). SECOND move...Trade the original #17 or #19 rd pick we just got to a team at the back of the 1st round for a 3rd rd pick. THIRD move...Jump back into the third by giving up our 5th, another later round pick and next year's 2nd 1......Lawrence Jackson DE (had better production than Harvey and is faster than him too) 2a....Flowers/Porter/King DB (choose the best CB available) 2b....Malcom Kelly (value, Thurman Thomas value perhaps) 3a....Jeremy Zuttah OG 3b....Mike Pollak C 3c....Brad Cottam/John Carlson (best TE left) 4......Dexter Jackson/Paul Hubbard WR (hedging the bet on M. Kelly) We fortify our DE position, CB position, OL position and also hit on our big need areas in WR and TE. Go ahead and rip it apart now...

Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State

I did say you either need speed or athletic moves. Wes Welker has very quick athletic moves, Nelson doesn't. IMO, he just isn't worthy of a second round pick. There's probably less than a 30 percent chance he'll ever become a #2 receiver in the NFL which is what the Bills would be drafting him to be were he picked that high. -
Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State

His style looks more like that of a smallish tight end than a starting NFL wide receiver. From what I saw of him he only has one move, stop let the DB over pursue and go. It looks like he's much too plodding of a guy to ever make it as a starting NFL WR. Sorry, I know you guys are really high on him. But I just don't see him as having 2nd round talent. I don't see the athletic catches, I don't see enough of the separation speed regardless of his route running ability. This is the NFL, you either need speed or great athletic ability to thrive as a wide out. Nelson has neither. Someone will probably take him in the second round and live to regret their decision. If the Bills don't take Thomas in the first, they should try to trade back for extra picks. Use one of the extra picks on Earl Bennett in the third then go and take Dexter Jackson with the extra pick in the fourth. Both of these guys have the speed and athletic moves and have much higher potential than does Nelson. As for the Jerry Rice's slow forty time comment someone made, DBs are MUCH faster than when he was carving out his hall of fame career. Now we're comparing Nelson to Jerry Rice? Get a grip people. If you don't have speed as a WR, you will not make it in today's NFL. If he's there in the third round then maybe they take a chance, but the Bills would be MUCH better served to draft a OL, CB or even Lawrence Jackson than to draft Jordy Nelson. If they did draft him with their second pick it would be a very bad decision. -
Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State

In todays NFL, if as a WR you can't run a sub 4.5 forty time then DBs will pretty much own your ass on the next level unless you have superstar-like athletic skills, which I'm pretty sure that Jordy Nelson does not have. I was a supporter of drafting Nelson until I came to my senses. Neslon will be a good special teamer and backup receiver in this league. He's not a number 2 guy or the second coming of the electric Wes Welker. I can't see many NFL teams having him with a second round grade. To me he looks more like RD 3- 4 type. It's a huge reach that I hope the Bills do not take in round 2. -
That's true, you got me there. I still think it's a reasonable thing to debate since there are more teams that stay relatively at the same level than those that go way up or way down in any given season. For Jauron's sake, he had better win more than he loses this year because I believe even his most ardent supporters will have had enough of him if he doesn't. It's a do or die year for Jauron, that's my prediction.
