  1. It's clear Obama is promoting this kind of mob speech by showing no attempts to squelch the rhetoric. This guy is all about creating divisions. Deep down he's a radical only interested in maintaining the instability of this country. He's the opposite of his first speech to the American public at the 2004 DNC convention. Obama is ALL about promoting… red states vs blue states blacks vs whites socialism vs capitalism poor vs rich public unions vs taxpayers The MSM's job of being the PR firm of the Obama party continues... http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2011/09/06/cnns-john-king-interviews-hoffa-without-asking-about-son-b-hes-remark Given the hyper-bipartisan atmosphere, it's outrageous Hoffa was never asked about that comment. I'm starting to think maybe a boring, yet non-bomb throwing guy like Romney would be the best option for America in 2012.
  2. Small potatoes. How about Obama step up to the plate, become a real president, admit he was wrong, tell Pelosi and Reid to go scratch, and repeal Obamacare. If he did this he wouldn't need the far left vote because there would a gush of jobs added before the 2012 election which would save his behind from being a one termer. What no one will talk about (see ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, ect…) is that Obamacare is the MAIN REASON why companies aren't hiring… http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/hidden_jobs_killer_nfudBPzZv0PL5qAo82bArM Obama/Pelosi/Reid/MSM have crippled this country. Hopefully enough Americans will wake up in time for 2012.
  3. Those are just excuses. Trent would have sucked even if he did not take a lot of hits and sacks. Simple fact of the matter is that he didn't have an NFL arm. He knew it and the league caught on. His getting hit only sped up the process of his departure. Add in the obviousness that Trent never really had a passion for the game itself. That's a bad trait for anybody, let alone a QB. Please stop making excuses for his failures.
  4. If Fitzpatrick proves himself, the Bills will show him the money. QB is the most important player on the team in terms of success on the field and at the box office (see Jim Kelly). If he proves himself he isn't going anywhere.
  5. This just in...the world isn't flat and keynesian economics doesn't work. But don't dispair, while he may be as dumb as a box of rocks our president is cool!
  6. "Analysis: Just when Fitzpatrick was building a nice passing offense with Lee Evans and Steve Johnson, the Bills trade Evans to Baltimore and now lack the outside threat to take coverage away from Johnson. Bills fans can start following the Stanford schedule of Andrew Luck, who might be the Bills' next quarterback" So since we've traded away a guy who has averaged a measly 4.5 TDs a season the last four years, Fitzpatrick is screwed and we're now looking at being one of the worst teams and therefore in the running for Andrew Luck????...LOL Talk about a silly string of analysis. The Bills will be a 9-7 team this year. Count on it. There's a definite confident feeling that I sense from this group. I'm thinking that this will be the foundation year that bridges them to the level of being serious contenders in 2012. BTW, I predicted that winning record before this past preseason game.
  7. We expect you to have the common sense to realize that you started an idiotic thread and stop yourself in trying to defend it any longer. Michael Vick turned the ball over 17 times in 11 games. You don't hear Eagle fans harping on this because they know it's a stupid anecdotal stat.
  8. Seriously dude, go root for Trent Edwards and the freaking Raiders. We just went through four BUTT UGLY years of a guy not willing to take chances. I'll be damned if I sit back and watch an idiot poster try to make our starting QB into a snotty-nosed little gunshy wimp. Turnovers happen, they happened with Kelly and they'll happen with Fitzpatrick. I suggest that you either deal with this reality or go root for a team that has Trent Edwards starting on it.
  9. They were balanced out by touchdowns. The ratio is a little bit on the high side but the ration was fine, average...comprende? Also, what part of Fitzpatrick never getting a shortened field don't you guys get? QBs with good defenses help out their starting QBs TD to INT immensely. BTW, you want to talk about balance, out of 401 rushes the Bills scored only 6 TDs! Seriously, look it up. This thread is a joke.
  10. For grading QBs, the name of the game is putting the ball in the endzone. While they both sucked, "fearless throw it deep" Losman sucked far less than the "fearful throw it short" Edwards.
  11. We're not ignoring it, just disputing your insinuation that Fitzpatrick's our problem. Our problem was our defense and a non effective running game. The Bills had 6 rushing TDs the entire 2010 season. That's pitiful. They were one of the worst at getting turnovers, which means shortened fields, which means less potentially intercepted passes for Fitzpatrick and a much greater chance for TDs. The ugly? Please, he was no wear near being ugly last season. He was one of the few bright spots on the team dude. Yes, he needs to take care of the ball, but not at the expense of not taking chances of going into a turtle shell a la Trent Edwards. The last thing I want right now is Fitzpatrick worrying about throwing interceptions. Stop with this nonsense.
  12. You did neither dude. Your whole post ignores the defensive responsibility for takeaways which is half the stat. Not to mention that Fitzpatrick is around the average in turnovers among starting QBs in the NFL since the beginning of time. You should apologize for such a foolish and misleading thread.
  13. Your analysis is backwards. BTW, that's not ugly, they're average numbers for a starting QB who has a set of balls. Drew Brees has thrown 132 INTs in 137 games started and has had 66 fumbles in that span. The all time great and accurate Peyton Manning has had 198 INTs in 208 starts. Jim Kelly had 175 INTs in 160 games starts. You must have been a big fan of Jauron if Fitzpatrick's INTs and Fumbles are what you're worried about. What plagued the Bills turnover numbers last year was the defense's inability to get INTs and Fumbles, it was not Fitzpatrick. If you want a guy who won't turn the ball over then go watch Trent Edwards. No guts no glory...and that's keeping it real.
  14. I never got the feeling that Trent even liked the game of football. To me, he was always a golf and baseball kind of a guy.
  15. After one bad preseason game, I could have sworn the world was coming to an end this week...LOL I certainly don't share the pessimists view on the Bills this season. I think they'll be a very competitive team with a vastly improved defense and a dangerous offense who have the potential to put up some big numbers. I think they'll end up at 9-7.
  16. I added the hyperbole of "KC sucks" because the sense of doom and gloom around here was getting a bit too heavy. Having said that, I can totally see the Bills beating KC in the opener and looking good doing it.
  17. KC sucks... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d821b7b50/article/cassels-recent-play-for-chiefs-hasnt-been-too-inspiring?module=HP11_content_stream The Bills should seriously just sit Merriman and Dareus and keep them healthy for the opener. If the Bills stop their run there's a very good chance that the they beat KC in the opener.
  18. Oh I know the drill, it just gets so repetitive (boring?).
  19. Is it possible for you to have a mature disagreement with someone without calling them a name? Your use of putdowns is embarrassing. The reason why Clinton went there is because of optics. Everyday Americans (voters) think of Wyoming as a "down home" destination. Even republicans would have a hard time busting his chops about going to Wyoming. But go ahead, get frustrated and call me another name bro.
  20. Americans don't begrudge him a vacation. What they do begrudge is the lavish, "I'm super rich" extravagant summer vacation during absolutely horrific economic times. Even the people who have jobs see this as their president being seriously tone deaf. What he should have done was what Clinton did in '95 and go to a place like Wyoming... http://www.spokesman.com/stories/1995/jul/12/clinton-to-vacation-in-wyoming/ Obama did his 2012 presidential campaign no favors with this vacation decision.
  21. I don't care about her "negative" polling numbers. Nobody in this current GOP field has shown me yet that they are any where near her and this ad is the most positive political ad I've watched in a very long time. While the liberals are calling people terrorists and telling them they should all go to hell, what the American people need is this kind of good vibe, positive message…
  22. Who knew that Fred Jackson of all people was a diva. Next time he's asked about playing time, he needs to say "that's a question to ask the head coach, I don't make those decisions." Dumbest controversy ever, since in today's NFL you need two backs and to spread the carries around.
  23. I see this team finishing 9-7. The reason being is that they have a whole bunch of players hitting their "money" years. By "money" I'm not talking about cash, I'm talking about beginning to master the learning curve of knowing what it takes to become a winning team. I'm very surprised so many people are so down on this team. But I guess a bad, yet completely meaningless, preseason game in Denver will do that...LOL
  24. Lee Evans averaged 4.5 TD catches the last four years as a Bill. He was and always will be a one trick pony which undoubtably made life much easier for defensive coordinators knowing where Evans would be on each and every play. The reason why the Bills have sucked for so long is bad FO, coaching, drafting and QBing for over a decade. Sorry, but I'm still waiting for this list of great, high priced players that the Bills have traded away.
  25. I thought about that start when I was reading the doom and gloom threads after this past week's Denver preseason game. We won't know how good or bad this team is till around week 6 of this season. It takes that many weeks for the dust to settle and the real vs pretender teams shakes itself out.
