You can argue it of course. But look around the league. Who would you rather have? There is your answer. For me - There is no other QB I’d rather have. Mahomes is better. There is limited argument against that. But Josh is just perfect here. And I love that about him.

This is a really good thread. I haven’t thought of it much. Gabe is a solid WR and had come up big for us many times. I don’t get lost in #2 vs #3 - but what we are really missing is that underneath player who plays the slot. Someone in the Welker/Beasley/Kupp mold. That would make a huge difference. I think we thought Kinkaid would be that guy. So far haven’t seen it. Might be play calling - but that rol would be huge for exploiting the passing game and freeing up Gabe. I hope we re-sign Gabe, but I suspect he will command more than I’d be comfortable with and we’ll watch him explode somewhere else in a couple years.

If I have learned anything the past 3 years - it's that not good teams are the ones watching other teams to try to find a way to make the playoffs. I used to play this game every year HOPING we could find a way in....but we're just good enough now to punch other teams in the mouth. It's on us. I dont even care what other teams do anymore.

yup. he is playing well no doubt - but lets not forget he was contemplating retirement for concussions just a few months ago. Not sure how much more he can/will take
