This is a NO BRAINER. Much better option than Spikes. Please FO make a move ASAP. As said on twitter, moving van and limo should already be on I-90 to stalk him.
I know it is the obvious choice but... I still remember like it was yesterday, stomping around the room, furious that we moved up in the 3rd and didn't pick Russell Wilson. My poor wife is so tired of hearing about it every time he makes a big play. Saw him play a lot for NC State. He was by far the most poised and athletic guy on the field.
So now we think we will get a 2 for Byrd and another 2 for Stevie and perhaps trade down for another 2nd.
I'm afraid other teams take advantage of bad teams in season and off season. Look for a 4th or 5th for the players and a reach at #9. I just hope we draft GA QB McDonald late.
I hope we hold out for a 2 but really, if others say nada we are sunk.
The OTs looked very good 1-4. TE not so much. Will a rookie OT who was LT in major program accept the move to RT? Is Hairston the swing. Lots of work to do
Need to move on Delmas fast. He is an FA now. Say bye bye Byrd. Hates it in B-lo. WILL hold out again and not learn new D unless he gets #1 saftey money. Delmas has 3 picks and 2 sacks last year, sounds good to me. Agree that we can't franchise Byrd if we pick up Delmas, we'd be lowballed to death.
Hopeful. I'd suggest that Murray presents a chance for the new regime to select someone in rounds 3-5 who does not represent a potential starter but a QB who could capture the team in a charismatic way. This guy is a winner and provided excellent oppotunity to premiere talent at wr over the last few years.
Would anyone have a concern with A Murray in the 3rd or 4th? High level of accomplishment in the SEC and a rabid fan base. Mobile, smart and a decent reach based on production.
On to the subject of if we want a 2nd QB. I'm in favor of Murray in the 3rd or later. He played well in the SEC, seemed to be very gutsy and had some escapability. Also dealt well with a very demanding fan base. Very worth the pick IMO.
How about a guy like Aaron Murray? May go round 3 or 4. Lots of poise there and maybe we have a Washington like situation at QB? I like Thad but he is limited.
So easy to tell this is an attempt to move to IR. Make the next decision hard and eliminate the trade market. Still gets the full $$ I believe. Loose him and his fake Twitter God musings.
Good idea but, I believe you can only Franchise 2 consective years. Still, it is what the Ravens threatened Ray Rice with last year to get a deal done. But not sure with this agent.....
I'm going with Barkley, who is good but, not good enough to be great.
Then in rd 2 a G, TE or WR who is good but, not good enough to be great
The cycle continues....
Perhaps Buddy and the gang should have considered that when Russell Wilson was sitting on the board last year. Try picking a winner who inspires vs. our horrible performance in the 3rd round during the "Buddy Era"
