  1. I dont know how bad his injury to his calf was and most of us never will. I think Sammy is at a point where he wont play through an injury. Then he comes back and sprains his ankle on a plant where he has to come back. The calf and ankle injuries were very low trauma events. Many perceive he is injury prone (brittle) or doesnt really care. Yeah I know he played with ribs last year. Like I have said most players at this point are playing through injuries its just how it is in contact sports. TT was going to play with an MCL sprain.

Once again....the doctors decide whether these players can or cannot play just like they did with Tyrod Taylor. It has nothing to do with whether he mans up and plays with an injury. The team goes with the doctors opinion.

  2. and for the last time, he criticized those people for their blue collar jobs. that was the substance of his insult. it wasn't that they were stupid or ugly or weak or uncoordinated. it was that they were in loser, low level jobs and at lowly societal levels. perhaps you could make an argument that he didn't realize that his words would convey this meaning but I doubt it's true. I think that's exactly what he meant.

Your going to take it how you want to take it so conversation to the contrary is moot.

He was not directing his comments AT YOU unless you are one of the classless morons that saw fit to put twitter comments about him and his family being at Disneyland

Once again.....your not going to be convinced of this so........

  3. While I get his anger towards those that say negative things about his injuries, he has to be the bigger man and take the high road on this stuff.

Coming out and telling people to "y'all go work at your little jobs" is immature, arrogant, and not necessary. Sammy is blessed with emense talent and has an opportunity that many dream of having. When you make the money you make and talk about how he needs to be the focal point of the offense then he needs to be resilient to criticism that comes his way.

I'm sure Sammy is as frustrated with this injuries as the fans are, and that may have played a little into the Tweet. It also doesn't help that Sammy was hurt on a play in which he wasn't even touched. But as an athlete and public figure you always have to take the high road. I've seen many athletes, mostly the great ones, take the high road to criticism. That's what makes them great.

The fans are your customers. They work very hard and earn alot less than Sammy does. They have a right to air their grievances with the product the Bills are putting on the field, or whether they feel a player is "injury prone" or not. To lash out to those who share that opinion is unprofessional and immature.

I hope Sammy gets healthy and can finally show why we gave up a first rounder for him. Until then, a little modesty and humility couldn't hurt.

    Just ask Tom Brady.

If I am Watkins agent I am "Everything you say on twitter goes to me for approval from here on out"

  4.

I wonder who wrote it for him?

The same people that should have been managing his twitter account to begin with

Sammy should let his play on the field do his talking. That is if he can get on the field without breaking a leg crossing the chalk line.

Last 16 Bills games -- 41 catches 647 yards, 4 TDs missed three games, shut out in 1. two 100 yard games & TDs because of a bomb in each.

He could not even get healthy in the off season to practice in the preseason.

He'd be an all-star if he could run as fast as he runs his mouth.

His stats suck because he can't / won't play. He quit on EJ last year, he dropped the pass to extends the last drive in the Pats game this year.

And he wants low-life Bills fans not to get on back?

The only losers for the last 15 years are those wearing the Bills uni's.

Sammy it is time to NUT UP

    god bless you too!

    Heal quicker Sammy.....damn you!

  5.

Seriously? Look at yourself. You're taking this more personally than Sammy himself. This guy made a serious PR mistake and his character has come into question a few times now.

That's where we are right now with Sammy Watkins, like it or not. He hasn't produced much, which can be forgiven a little due to injuries - but he's running his mouth which doesn't sit well with people. How you can continue to overlook that and defend it is beyond me.

Probably because once he gets back on the field all of this will be forgotten

  6. I really dont think it is that implausible that Glenn makes it out

Keep in mind....when you have quite the logjam of walkers...they are not incredibally strong so the ones in the front will be keeping the ones behind out

Second...walkers in front make you invisible to walkers in the back.....Black Ninja chick has proven this theory

Third.....walkers feeding on idiot will be bleeding on Glenn and the area.....turning him invisible which was proven by Carole in the Terminus episode

  7. Why did he delete it then?

Because of what people are doing right now?

Probably a knee jerk reaction by him....upset at some of the things they had to say...then later realized not a smart thing to do (someone probably told him it was not a smart thing to do)

If he didn't feel he needed to delete it, why would he?

That question has been answered Chan

  8. So, because he's a professional athlete this 22 year old kid shouldn't have twitter or Instagram? How about people grow up and stop anonymously attacking someone because they aren't performing at their job. Do yourself a favor and follow these guys on social media.

Sammy needs to have someone managing his social media if can get baited like this

There will always be pigs of the earth that thing being anonymous on the internet allows them to drag others down into their mud

  9.

One (I) would expect that a professional athlete would be able to handle the criticisms that all professional athletes get on social media.

Again - I'm not condoning coming down on the guy for being hurt. But he needs to be the bigger person and keep his "mouth" shut. That's what the real pros do.

    I agree with this

  10. Your totally right and I have grown tired of him. And no I have never bashed him in social media. I have pointed out he needs to see the field and quit goofing off on the sideline. Thats not calling anyone out thats merely stating hes a professional and conduct yourself as such.

Your right Sammy....you need to be on the field with a lower body injury and the team docs telling the coaches you cant play....what is wrong with you!

  11. I just think that anonymous twitter followers that call Sammy out over injuries are complete jerks (therefore should have been ignored)

They dont want to take into account that this kid played injured all of last season....with those ribs.....he was able to do it because its upper body but with a lot of pain.....YOU CANNOT RUN WHEN YOU HAVE A LOWER BODY INJURY

My guess is that Sammy lashed out (which he should not have) because he himself is upset that he is injured and cannot help his team.....he is a competitor and the doctors tell him when he can and cannot play.

I still like Sammy.....he just has to be smarter then that

  12. On August 26, 2002, Hines Ward was released from the hospital after an appendectomy. On Sept. 9, 2002, Ward played his first of 16 games that season and had 8 catches for 90 yards.

If anyone's an embarrassment, it's Sally Watkins.

If he ran routes in games as much as he ran his mouf, then he might have a leg to stand on.

His little rant makes him look stupid, immature and weak.

People will see things the way they want to see them

I personally wish athletes did not go on twitter at all....nothing good can come of it

We're talking about an adult, right? And a professional, correct?

Nobody "causes" someone to say dumb schit.

    So what is your excuse?

  13. ; Remember how good Ryan Fitzpatrick look in beginning of 2011. First five games 4 wins and 1 lost. 10 tds and 4 int. just 1 fumble and only sacked 3 times. One of those wins were against NE. I thought we got our QB. Look how that year finished. By the way Taylor did start one game with the Ravens in 2012. He lost to the Bengals in the final game of the year. Got in seven games that year. He played in 11 games total at Baltimore, mainly as a runner. Used him to run for first downs. Did get some time on the playing field before he came here. I know its not a lot , but it wasn't just sitting on the bench. Harbaugh had him in the game plan during season.

Not as the starting QB.....which is just a whole other animal
