Dolphins are gonna rip us a new one whether Tyrod plays or not. They've been so focused and playing at a high level since Campbell has taken over.
Turn in your fan decoder ring.....door is to the left
-
I am gonna go out on a limb and say that not only is TT gonna play.....that we sacrificed a week and a game to make sure he is actually close to 100 percent
-
You dont be mean to the front office lady secretary Marone u mook
-
OK, but is there some outcry that TT hasn't warranted more opportunities? I think most fans can't wait for TT to return so they don't have to watch EJM anymore.
Search Gug or TakeittoTasker's posts and you will understand why this is being posted
I personally dont like post Tyrod's numbers to a future hall of famer
- His work to date does not warrant that
and
- it is not fair to compare the two players....at this point in their careers Aaron Rogers is clearly the better player
-
I couldn't agree more.
The problem is that Glenn is almost certainly going to hit free agency. Why is he going to take an average pay kind of deal when some team is likely to overpay for him? I thought Hughes was going to hit FA too though. So I guess you never know.
I am not positive that another team WOULD overpay him at this point....he looks like he has hit his ceiling

Do people not forget how much Easely has dissapeared in games and dropped passes in games in the past?
-
If the bills did decide they wanted to draft a QB with that 1st round pick...people should understand they are probably still looking at least one more year of Tyrod Taylor
That is why I dont want to do it......get a immediate starter with that 1st round pick.
-
I disagree with a lot of whats been said here.
Our OL sucks but it wont get any better wiht Incognito or Glenn Leaving. Glenn should be easy to resign on an affordable deal because he is having his worst year as a pro. Incognito wont have a lot of bidders because of past actions. WIth them resigned I think we let Urbik loose to save cap money and draft a LT in the 1st round. Hopefully that pick beats out Glenn who then moves to RT or even RG. If our OL is Stud Rookie - Incog - Wood - Miller (hopefully much improved) - Glenn (hopefully regaining past form) then I think our O would actually have a chance to compete.
I definitely think we should tag and trade Gilmore. Darby is a stud and we could rework McKelvins deal quite easily. McKelvin had his best year as a pro under Pettine and I think he will flourish under Ryan. I dont see a scenario where we can afford Gilmore.
I dont see what Boobie or Manny Lawson bring to the table with their cap hits.
Bradham is a guy who will out-play his contract and I definitely think he needs to be prioritized.
I also think we will have to part with some of our shiney new toys. Mario may be gone because of scheme fit. Clay or shady might be gone after enxt year because of their contracts. We mortgaged the future for this year and its not going to pan out.
What we need to do with Glenn is take the opportunity to sign him to a reasonable deal due to his average pay and move him to RT where he would prob flourish
-
I know he is on the team.....the camera pans to him in uniform on the sideline at least once a game.

It was so funny I was watching the Sunday's episode and they were showing Morgan at the campfire.....then I heard the noise of a helicopter as was like "There aint no more helicopters in Walking Dead!"
Then I realized it was actually coming from outside my house.......police chopper looking for somethin

My daughter worked with the main character Kristen Ritter on a project back when she was 15
Says to this day that she was one of the funniest most genuine "stars" that she had met on set.......while Kate Bozworth was horrible.....
Lookin forward to watching

Both Rex and Whaley will be here in 2016 if I'm betting. It's too early to tear down the Rex regime, it'd be a reactionary move and like most reactionary moves it'll only slow the development of the team down once again. Stability, something this franchise has lacked throughout the 15 year playoff drought, is important. The only way a big shake up happens is if this team completely ***** the bed down the stretch and loses out. That's not going to happen.
The wildcard is still up for grabs despite the apocalyptic hype around here, and the remaining 9 games aren't really terrifying. Outside of back-to-back road games against the Jets and P*ts (which they'll need to split to have any realistic shot at the WC), the rest of their opponents are all beatable. It's not crazy to think there will be a 9 win WC team coming out of the AFC this year if you look at the standings, going 6-3 (get healthy and 7-2 isn't unthinkable) and the Bills are right in the thick of it. Let's see how this team looks against Miami in two weeks before we completely give up hope.
I tend to agree with this
I will also say that if this D does not turn itself around in the pressures, sacks, and turnovers department I expect to see major overhauls to this defense.....for instance they might feel that Kyle Williams and Mario Williams are players they can do without because they are not generating sacks and pressure from that posiion
I hope this does not happen and they actually get it figured out

True, but Michonne and Carol covered themselves in rotting flesh and blood. Not fresh blood like Glenn would've been covered in from Nicholas.
lets keep in mind Glenn is surrounded by rotting....bleeding walkers
Michonne did an alternate version of this that worked just fine for her
-
Randell Johnson seems to get a ST penalty in every game.
He is just trying to get noticed so they will actually play him at linebacker
Which they already should be doing
-
Doug Whaley as GM: 18-21.
That's all that matters. And it's not outstanding.
Who else bears more responsibility for this mess?
Were putting wins on a GM?
Does he coach the team?
His job is to find talent.......which he has done
-
We've already written off EJ after only 16 games, so why not Sammy?
Because.....if EJ had a rookie season that was on par with Sammy's rookie season.......we would not be writing him off
-
Totally agree with this......an example needs to be made
-
You're aiming too high.
Probably...
-
Actually, EJ really is consistent. It's just too bad it's consistently inconsistent. You just don't know which one you'll get. The EJ that buried us in a sinkhole, or the EJ that dug us out of it. Sunday we got to see both.
Im not willing to find out anymore.....
Time to move on
I think that the point must be that:
Elite QB's infrequently have bad games, sometimes have average games and frequently are amazing.
Good QB's have bad & good games with some frequency.
Average QB's frequently have bad games, they have some good games too.
Below average QB's have bad games with high frequency and they rarely have good games.
By that definition I would put EJ at "average to good"
The problem is....he does not appear to provide a spark. I want our backup QB to be Franck Riech.
-
Right now, the Bills have EJ, Sammy, and LeShady for their last 3 first round picks. One out of 3 ain't bad....
Once again I will point out
Sammy Watkins did not have a bad rookie year
He is now in year 2 and is injured.......injuries happen and cannot be evaluated by YEAR FRIGGEN TWO
So in fact TWO OUT OF THREE would be outstanding.
-
At this point I dont even want to think about wild card spots
Teams are going to win that will help us....teams are going to lose that will help us
We need to think about going on a winning streak.....and its all against AFC East opponents
-
Guys just need to make plays
I know I saw once.....and I think it was actually twice Marcel gets into the backfield and is close enough to get a hand on Bortles.......and does get him
When you are being paid 110 million dollars you HAVE to MAKE A PLAY
Then in the Sunday night game you see a DT who dives a offensive center INTO the qb.....gets like 3 fingers on the QB......and gets him on the ground
The guys we are paying big money to are NOT MAKING PLAYS
- If you dont get their on the pass rush......get your HANDS UP AND BAT a fricken ball.....you might cause turnover
- Finish plays when you beat your man
- Dont allow yourself to be seal blocked out of plays that result in big runs
-
Never heard that before, though the talking heads at the draft said the opposite that there was some front offices laughing and shaking their heads when the Bills took EJ Manuel and traded up for Sammy Watkins.
This seems to be the day for this
so really? You know front offices were actually laughing and shaking their heads.....REALLY
-
RG III might make a good backup QB to Tyrod Taylor
TT may not be ready for Dolfins so who do we start?
