  1. Just because we got the best of the trade doesn't mean we should have made the trade. We should have never made the trade. That's my argument. McCoy acquisition has not benefited us as it should have.

What he has done in the past is the past. Yes, he's been productive for us but anyone would have been productive. We have enough playmakers that not having McCoy would not have changed much.

Find my how many RB's go to their second team and flourish. Even L Tomlinson didn't do super amazing awesome in NJ.

Was LT a lot older when he moved onto his 2nd team?

And no....not any running back would have flourished with this team....our run blocking has been horrid and our WR's a mash unit

  2. I was against this trade and still am. The net return is just not worth it. Even if Kiko got hurt in Buffalo this year his contract was affordable and we rolled the dice another year. Trading him for an overvalued RB who has seen limited action and provided less then stellar production; sorry, McCoy wasn't worth the money and the trade.

Id have rather traded a draft pick for McCoy, a 3rd round at best for 2016.

Spiller was only slightly less production then MehCoy and more affordable.

because of course.....Kiko will 100 percent be the player he was with 2 knee injuries and there is no chance he could get hurt again even though he has been hurt the last two years

  3.

Sorry I was mistaken. Fumble six, pick six, and another pick that resulted in an offensive TD. I am a Manuel supporter, but that was just awful and is the reason we lost the game.

I just went through 6 offensive series for the bills

In that time not only did the above happen.....but he

    - THrew a pass that should have been an easy TD to Gragg.......but he fricken threw a horrible pass

    - Threw TWO balls in the dirt in front of Robert Woods....in which Woods was wide open

    - Thew a ball that was thrown so poorly Woods had to leap for the ball to catch it behind him

    - Held the ball for no explainable reason and took sacks

Lets not act like EJ went through 5 minutes of anarchy and that was it....it was more like good passes here and there mixed in with a ton of bad

  4. Sammy is limited again in practice. Looks like he may be looking for his 10 reps while he is sitting in the hot tub! This is very frustrating.

    Limited but participating

I know we have had a lot of injuries this year.....but kudos to this coaching staff for being careful with players we need in the long run.

  5. Next series

    - Kujo is solid in both pass protection and run blocking (there is a play where a pass rusher takes a very wide rush and Kujo does not push him behind EJ........EJ looks to be in a 7 step drop. Another second and the pass rusher would have hit EJ

    - EJ friggen one hops another one to Wood....then 2 plays later cause Woods to have to make a awkward dive for a catch.

    - EJ throws the nice TD pass to woods.....this is of course the maddening thing about EJ who just teases you with the possibility he might be good...........:(

Im gonna stop here...Kujo was solid in the jags game

  6. 3rd series on offense

Kujo once again equits well in pass protection.......EJ takes a inexcusable sack instead of just throwing the ball away

On 3rd down Kujo redirects well with guard.....stones his assigned player who gets his hands up and bats down a EJ pass

Now....just because I know the workings of offensive line I am gonna put put that on Kujo.....because even though he pass protects well here it is his job to get the DL's hands down to keep batted passes....he puts the DL on his ass but he still bats the ball

    4th series of offense

Kujo has a false start on this series

Past that.....nothing bad from Kujo on this drive....pass protection is good and it looks to me like the the line splits of the OL are widened on this drive allowing for more responsibility on the outside protection guys

This is the drive where EJ is hit by a defender from the OTHER side of the line that causes the fumble for a TD

  7. 2nd series on offense.....Kujo once again solid in pass protection.....buries a defender on a particular play.....the closest a defender gets to EJ is where he spin moves and goes low on the outside but ball is already out......this is one of those drives where EJ has a HORRID throw to Gragg that should have been a TD.....UGH! I have seen some throws by EJ so far in this review that are making me cringe.

  8. To me what this does signify is the bills are not happen with their backup safeties performance.....and I look for them to aggressively fix this in the offseason.....

I personally think Safety has been a major problem for the defense this year just as much as the D line not getting a chance to do their thing.......it seems a Rex Ryan defense puts a lot of focus on communication......and that is lacking in the safety department.

  9. You clearly have an opinion.

    Its pretty accurate

I just got done watching the first series of the jags game again focuing on Kujo....will be doing this off and on today as time permits

On his first snap he comes off and drives a defensive player back pretty impressively

He does well in pass protection......one in particular where the D overloads to that side......he initially blocks a defender then redirects and takes the out most defender rushing on the play....getting just enough of him to push him past EJ (unfortunately on the play another rusher gets through OG and hits EJ.....but that clearly is not Kujo's fault who needs to take the outside assignment

On this series Shady runs the ball on a play where Kujo gets out in front of him.......he does waist bend at the end and blocks out like he is expecting the defender to take the sideline angle.....Shady goes inside because he is trying to get to the 1st down marker (which he does) So Kujo missing the defender but also causes the defender to not be able to get to Shady before the first down

  10. That's what I said. Two pancakes on a single play. That my friends is Awesome!

I will say this.....if that was Sentreal Henderson he doesnt dominate that 1st block and he for SURE doesnt engage that second defensive player with that kind of authority.....the most he would do is wall him off

THIS is what I want to see out of my offensive linemen

  11. Actually it seems pretty clear to me without much of the straight talk.

Harvin has a hip injury, which he has had for years. He aggravated it early in the year. He overcompensated to protect it and to play in games, and hurt his knee doing that (which was reported a couple weeks ago). Not being able to run, and with two painful injuries, he got extremely frustrated, and voiced those frustrations to a few people, maybe even considering retirement if they didn't heal and he couldn't play at top speed, and therefore a top level. Because it's still and always will be a business, the Bills didn't want to pay him if he retired or sat this season out so they used the "frustration" element of it in the injury reports.

Now, Harvin is feeling a little better but not yet able to play. He's not as frustrated and wants to come back and contribute. His hip is a little better but the knee is still bothering him and he can't resume playing full speed, which a guy like him needs to be to be productive.

It really does make sense with all of the reports.

I guess what is also frustrating about it is you only have so many roster spots......and many people (myself included) would like to see what a big target like Dez Lewis could do for the team

    HOWEVER

Dez Lewis played like crap in pre season.....like if he wasnt drafted he would probably be cut bad.....but just like with Kujo......Dez could improve into his second year.

  12.

I agree... I think the line does a good job pass blocking.. but it seems like the run blocking isn't anywhere near above average.

I can remember watching 49er games when Roman was OC there and it was obvious that their O Line was doing really creative things in the run game and physically dominating their opponents on a regular basis. I don't think anyone would say the Bills are doing that now.

I concur with what I saw from the Niners OL with Roman

In my opinion this is where you start in this next draft......I know people are loving their annual "lets draft this QB lets draft that QB"

I say.......lets draft some mean nasty OL high in this next draft and get our running game going
