  1. Buffalo doesn't need to get cute or outsmart themselves in LA... Yes, the Chargers will be preparing to stop the run after what they saw from the Dallas game. But Buffalo doesn't need to start chucking the ball wildly all over the field. Keep pounding. I'm into these boring, ball control wins and then on D take advantage of the other teams mistake(s). If it's 3rd and 3 the Bills don't need to throw a 25 yard pass into double coverage. Just get 4. The ONLY way Buffalo will get upset in this game is by giving the ball away and keeping the Chargers in it until the end. Ball security baby.
  2. Every season you see teams with absolutely nothing to play for beat better teams late that have everything on the line. It will happen this year too and Buffalo needs to be on high alert. That being said, looking at some of the teams we're rooting for. Las Vegas is feeling much better about themselves. The O'Connell kid, WR's and their D have found something. They will beat Indy or Denver or maybe both. Antonio Pierce wants that job. This is not a great time to play the Raiders. Atlanta is going back to Heinicke, They aren't folding up. He's better than Ridder and should be a big challenge for Indy. Tennessee just played an OT game vs Houston. Need Levis to step up and play better. Just don't know what you're getting out of that rook. I doubt they beat the Jags. The Steelers are cooked and doubt they beat Cincinnati but who knows, it is a division game. The Bengals will not win at KC. No way do the Chiefs lose 4 regular season games at Arrowhead. Just NOT HAPPENING. So that will give the Bengals 7 losses. We need to be Browns fans... they need to beat Houston and Cinci. C'mon Flacco! New England plays a role since they are at Denver. Doubt they win there but it is the hoodie and he's gotten his club to rise up and bite Buffalo when we didn't expect it. Anyone who loses to the Jets, Panthers or Chargers don't deserve playoffs.
  3. Heck, I'll be on a family vacation and will watch. I subscribed to Peacock for one month and will cancel immediately after the game. If you're used to navigating games on Amazon, YouTube, ESPN+... this won't be a big deal. But i get the sentiment and annoyance of the NFL grabbing every last nickel from every source possible. Again,,,this is entertainment. The NFL is a massive TV show that they want on every platform known to man.
  4. The Bills need to somehow dial up the energy, physicality and execution like they did against Dallas. That sticky coverage too. It won't be easy on the west coast indoors. Yes, there will be a large amount of Bills fans in there, but the energy we saw against Dallas is not something that can be turned on with a light switch. It's human nature to feel good about yourself and think your opponent is nothing special. I think the Cowboys brought their swag to Buffalo and got it handed to them. McDermott usually does a good job.
  5. It’s Mason Rudolph time in Pittsburgh. Dallas is going to give Miami a very tough game this weekend. They won’t roll over again. Something to prove and they have life for their Division.
  6. We were the game right before their losing streak. Bills were meant to win that game. but a miracle FG, a fumble that was not called a fumble and a miscommunication in OT with WR2 cost us. Oh well. it wasn’t part of the grand plan i guess.
  7. People want to be critical of Allen which is fine. But you have a multi SB winner, Tom Brady who gestured and flailed his arms wildly trying to get calls for years. I mean i always called him a whiny b**ch but hey, it worked quite often. More power to him.
  8. The Chargers management (whoever are left) are doing a tank job for a better draft position. The team out there should not beat the Bills. The result should not be in doubt entering the 4th Qtr. If it is, then Buffalo are frauds. There’s no nice way to put it.
  9. I’d really be concerned about this Phillips injury for this weekend, but people are telling me the Bills will easily win by 30 so no worries. I guess i am worrying for nothing.🤷🏼‍♂️
  10. I hope he flops his way to a Lombardi trophy. There was a nice flop by Kelce yesterday too trying to draw a DPI in the end zone.
  11. We have so many great attributes this season, arguably the best team in the AFC or top 2 and they have to win out to get in the playoffs. smh.
  12. Normally i would hate playing Miami 3 times in a season but hey, if they run the table and beat the Phins twice and get in, I'll take my chances. There was also a scenario i saw that would place Buffalo at KC in round one. Ugh. Talk about rough. Having to beat those guys twice in Arrowhead within 5 weeks or so?!? There's no easy road. Just get in and plow through everyone.
  13. I do not think the league is fixed. I do think the NFL is a massive TV show worth billions (TV revenue, advertising revenue, franchise values, etc.) It's entertainment and the ultimate reality TV. And what the NFL wants are to have the best players and best teams in the tournament. I do believe as some have suggested they can't control outcomes but may try to steer the games in certain directions. For example, I do believe the league wants Buffalo in there. JA is the face of Madden for goodness sakes. He alone is a national brand and great for entertainment, the Bills avg. 30+ pts per game lately. After the Eagles debacle, I think the officiating has been very favorable to Buffalo. The calls in our favor have increased and some non calls on Buffalo for nitpicky crap have gone away. The procedural stuff will always be enforced, it's obvious. But they've swallowed the whistles on judgement plays that were called earlier this season. I expect that to continue through the end of the regular season.
  14. I feel like more than a few OT games have worked against the Bills (in addition to their own losses). Not as many as i thought but here's the list of OT games involving AFC playoff hopefuls. I think OT results are bit of random luck to be honest (or being unlucky). Week 1 Jets defeat Bills 22-16 Week 2 Titans defeat Chargers 27-24 Week 3 Colts defeat Ravens 22-19 Week 4 Rams defeat Colts 29-23 Week 12 Eagles defeat Bills 37-34 Week 13 Colts defeat Titans 31-28 Week 13 Bengals defeat Jags 34-31 Week 14 Ravens defeat Rams 37-31 Week 15 Bengals defeat Vikings 27-24 Week 15 Texans defeat Titans 19-16
  15. He almost killed the man. That's incredibly reckless.
  16. Other than the perfect game vs NE, I don't think I've seen Buffalo play with such determination, physicality and preparedness as they did yesterday vs what is considered a good team. Even the DB's...the coverage was STICKY. And the hitting was crazy...some of it seemed like it was borderline late but hey, it sends a message. Just a great game by McDermott. Props to him for getting the team to play like that. They defended every blade of grass.
  17. Oh yes. Always been that way with Skip. It's always Cowboys, Lakers (LeBron) and used to be Tom Brady but now that he's gone they just devote more time to Cowboys and Lakers. Lol.
  18. By the way, as i mentioned in the pregame thread, the refs have put their whistles away on Buffalo. The NFL wants Buffalo in these playoffs. The league is an entertainment show, they want the best players and teams in it. Sure, they will have to call obvious procedural stuff, but they aren't flagging the dumb nitpicky judgement calls the past couple weeks and I expect that positive trend to continue through the end of the season.
  19. I think the Raiders have a good chance to beat Indy and Denver at the end of this season. LV has found something. The O'Connell kid is playing well, they have confidence and the D has been really good. Antonio Pierce wants the gig full time.
  20. Letdown games in the NFL are a real thing. Guys are human. Bills need to avoid it somehow. Chargers will play hard they were embarrassed. Bills have experienced their share of losing this season to inferior opponents so hopefully lesson learned. Be very careful with the football. Only carelessness and turnovers would ruin this game.
  21. Lol. I love this. I think i said during the gameday thread how Cook is playing insane. The hands on that TD catch were as good as anyone. As for breaking tackles, James Cook does not even need to break any. The guy is slippery as hell and if he can continue to be slippery and the Oline plays like this he's the biggest weapon we have. So huge props to him.
  22. Rapp is reckless, but if he can rein that in a bit, I do like having a threatening guy back there who will make opposing players think twice about getting blown up. Most of the Bills secondary are not like that.
  23. Very true, and I'm wondering how they replicate that kind of energy and violence this week in a sterile west coast environment against an inferior opponent. We shall see. This is a week that not only coaching matters but internally the players need to get together and create a mindset.
  24. Ironically, Allen's "lowkey" day in a blowout vs Dallas cost me my Fantasy playoff game. Go figure? But it's all good. The Bills wins over KC and Dallas were grind it out wins. There wasn't much flash in the passing game and there didn't need to be. Run well, move the chains w short passes, play solid D and don't turn it over. That's the recipe.
