  1. Ravens | Willy agrees to terms Comment (0) Sun, 26 Apr 2009 17:56:01 -0700 Ed Thompson, of Scout.com, reports undrafted rookie free-agent QB Drew Willy (Buffalo) has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens, according to a source. Terms of the deal were not disclosed
  2. It's the Peter King syndrome... Throw something out there, see if it sticks and if they are right, well they will be able to brag about how much football knowledge they think they have.. If they are not right, then they just play it off as luck or surprise on the part of the Bills..
  3. I hope and pray this is correct.. I actually have WSEE here in Silver Creek.. Actually, just checked and the game is already on the program guide for TW on Sunday,so I'm set, isn't the best of pictures and no HD but to see the game is the important thing...
  4. Good to hear they got the deal done... I think this is just another indication that shows how much Peter King really knows.. Not sure if any of you caught him on GR today but the guy really gave the impression that the Bills wanted to see what Hardy had to offer before inking Evans to a big time deal.. And he also seemed to think that if Lee wanted to make 9 million a year he was going to have to go to Dallas or something like that... nice job OBD..
  5. There is a strip of them there...depends on your taste... http://www.westchippewa.com/night.html take a look for yourself.. And I would 2nd or 3rd the Hampton,on location and general up keep as the place to stay..
  6. Honestly, this couldn't be playing out any better for Peters right now with all these injuries..And I can't say I like it one bit. I think Peters deserves the money but the tactics are moronic at the core. The Bills are getting to the point where they are going to have to pay up..
  7. Sad thing is,JP is the back up QB and Youbouty will be the back up CB... But we have depth..
  8. I think the most telling is the comment in other threads from OBD that they expect Peters to play, regardless of his contract because he still has 3 years left. Given that very comment and I agree with others who have said it,there isn't much for Peters to say, until the Bills or management come forward and say a new deal can be worked out or done or he's gone Mike Williams and doesn't want to play Football anymore.. I think regardless of what the Bills say, they know what Peters wants, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.I honeslty believe if there was any discussion at all about a new deal,he'd be in camp. But the Bills seem to be more on the side of he has a deal and should be in camp. Of course I'm thinking last night about a great conspiracy theory by the Bills and Peters to protect him. This includes the thought that the surgery didn't go well or the healing process was more then expected. Players who do not report to camp and are holding out for a deal don't have to be put on a PUP list, nore do any injuries have to be disclosed obviously because the player is not at camp and participating..so no media questions every day about why he isn't practicing, what's the timetable for his return. If this were actually the case, the injury/recovery time could be concealed for weeks with out anyone even knowing.Yeah,I know,I doubt it too,but it seemed interesting..
  9. Is it me or does it seem JP gets the opportunity to throw deeper in camp practice then Edwards or is this QB choice..? I assume the plays are called for each of them when they are in there and this isn't just pitch and catch.. Something about having that deep ball in your arsenal that is so appealing..
  10. What's wrong with putting McKlevin and McGee out there together on kick returns..? You could have potentially the most dangerous return tandem in the league..No more kicking to the opposite side to keep the ball away from McGee..Teams will have to pick their poison..Idealy,that's how I'd like to see it play out anyway..
  11. I'm surprised that can even be considered insider material...
  12. Season tickets have been something I have been thinking about for a few years now and I'm pretty sure I'll bite the bullet for next season as well.. Anyone have any idea on the process of being able to go and select a seat, other then on the select a seat day..?
  13. Anyone else see that the NFL Network appears to off the air already.. The station is there but there is no programing... Went to catch NFL Total Access this AM and it's a blank brown screen..
  14. Got my letter today...actually if you go to the TWC website and enter your zip code, they will give you your channel line up for your area and it clearly takes the NFL Network out of the line up.. Can't see that there is much that we can do until they actually take it away, other then start pricing Direct TV now..I really did not want to go back to a dish.. Just got this e-mail from the NFL Network, talk about quick work..
  15. Gregg Williams had plenty of fire in his belly when he arrived here and he got criticized for it. Remember? 578578[/snapback] Ahhhhh...yes..I believe they called him "The Mouth that Roared".. Always got a good chuckle from it anyway..
  16. I personally don't mind Jauron coming in as head coach.. I would have prefered Sherman because I believe he gives us the best chance to put together a knock down staff out of the gate. But if the story of Sherman wanting more control then the Bills wanted him to have when they first discussed it last week, then I say good for them for not caving on demands.. I think we have to remember with Sherman, too much control could spell dumb moves like this... What's BJ Sanders doing right now you ask... Just some food for thought anyway..
  17. I wouldn't mind if a few more of you turned in your season tickets.. I'm looking for some good seats anyway, this might increase my chances.. I really don't know if Jauron is going to work out,but I love football,so I can at least give him a chance, god, the ink hasn't even dried..
  18. I agree, that doesn't mean much.. Consider the idea that you call a team and ask to interview a guy with the idea that it will be for HC,you have not officially hired one,so they really can't say no..So you bring the guy in,discuss the chances of being a HC and then pose the idea of being something different for the team in the event the team goes in another direction for HC..
  19. Explains why Mora got that fine for the cell phone call in Atlanta.. TD and Mularkey wouldn't pick up their phone..
  20. Is it possible that our great coach does not have the same game plan for both QB's.. It obvious that JP has the stronger arm and is asked to make the long ball throw while Holcomb is not, because he can't..I think JP has shown some great skill at throwing the quick slant or in hitting the crossing patteren, but that doesn't seem to be called as much for him.. Not that I enjoy the dinking and dunking as much but I do believe you have to rely on your coaching staff to put you in a spot to win with play calling but we don't have that.
  21. Madden 360 Trailer A little Bills stuff in this video as well..Just click the link and scroll down to where it says most recent updates and click the Madden 2006..The video just came out tonight,so it should be new stuff.. Nice stiff arm in the video by Corri Dillon taking Troy Vincent down and a nice little clip of McGahee running with the ball..
  22. The thing I like about Stamer he just seems to love the game.. He is out there to make a play or just hit someone.. That was evident by his Special Teams play last year.. From what I have read on camp reports this last week and watching the scrimmage,it sure sounds like he is trying to make a real push.. You really don't hear Posey's name too often if at all..
  23. I don't know why there is such a big deal about him not running the ball on that endzone play. He has the coach in his ear constanly, watching the game, you could tell, you just never know whether he was told before the play, even if the lane is there, stay and look for the open man and throw the ball..And the other thing that bothers me with people jumping on this play is that JP was what..7 or 8 yards out right..There were what looked like 2 or 3 guys on Reed but rewatching the game yesterday, just as JP threw the ball,it appeared as if there was another Packers player at the very front of the endzone(maybe someone who taped or DVR'ed it can verrify that),so more then likely, had he made the run,he would have met contact with one player and I'm sure the 2 or 3 guys on Reed would have at least met JP at the goal line as well.. Just wasn't worth the risk for a scrimmage touchdown in my opinion..
  24. Agreed, not happy at all about the NFL Network today.. I rushed home today after stopping at Wings and Things and seeing an ad for the Bills Training Camp report to be on at 7pm,so I made sure I was home,as every segment passed,I thought jeez, hype it up and then give the Bills the last 5 minutes of the show.. Last 5 minutes, they didn't even have a Training Camp update for the Bills..!!
  25. Those ratings make you drool about our secondary..
