  1. Boxing is dead. De la Hoya was its last bonafide star.
  2. I think everyone got that but you Please don't shoot me James Hardy!!!!!
  3. Tim, are the Bills done in FA? We appear to only have 10M in cap room and will use most of it to sign rookies. Of course we could unload Parrish and McCargo for some scrilla, but I don't see where it would go at this point.
  4. How is it they manage to stockpile picks year after year? I hate them.
  5. Giving Hardy the money IS donating to charity.
  6. Ummm, no. This offseason has done nothing much to improve a team that crumbled last year due to terrible blocking and an anemic pass rush. We have holes at LG, WLB, DE (take your pick, Schobel is done), and TE. We have done virtually nothing to help our team. See how much love TO gives the offense when the OL can't give Edwards enough time to take a five step drop. You can't go into the draft knowing you NEED 3 starters. The offseason is an unmitigated disaster. I won't give Brandon anything other than a swift kick in the pants. We need to pick up at LEAST 1 starter in FA. That could be at LG or LB, but we are still going to need a DE and TE in the draft that can start.
  7. I agree, the Brandon Rodd comment kills the article for me. i emailed Prisco to let him know he's a moron
  8. Exactly. Bialy writes NO NEWS. He conducts no interviews. He simply writes his own opinion in self-indulgent prose. I wish BillsBeat would take a stand against linking to bloggers.
  9. Actually, I would say it shows that they are NOT experts in the draft. They are experts at evaluating college talent. Draft experts do not exist.
  10. Best moves they could make would be to re-sign Crowell for depth at the very least if he isn't at 100 percent, sign a LG and trade for Scheffler. That would allow us to draft DE/DT in the first round and best lineman in the second.
  11. Tool. I'm hijacking this thread. I think the best pick would be Brown or Rajii. I don't see Rajii falling to us, but now that the Seahawks have traded for a DT there is one less team with a need at that position.
  12. Considering a couple analysts had Raji going to the Seahawks, I think it's relevant
  13. I dunno how many of you watched the video on bb.com, but DJ says they brought in those FA LBs to get to know them and lay a foundation in case they tried to sign them later. Can someone explain to me why the heck would you bring them in if your intention wasn't to sign them in the first place? There is no guarantee they will even be around by the time the Bills decided to grace them with an offer.
  14. Me too. Much better than Kiper. That's why I watch the NFL network's draft coverage instead of ESPN.
  15. I second the motion. Bialy is a no talent hack who believes he is an incredible writer. His articles bear little to no insight and never include new information.
  16. Tim, just FYI, there are a couple of typos in your post: "Overnight, even with one less hour to work with, I enough responses to shatter the AFC East mailbag record set back during the great Cassel-Brady debate of aught-8." Not ripping on you, just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to edit.
  17. Done. Appreciate the access Tim. It's great to feel like we have someone listening to our opinions who has a voice on a national level. Keep up the good columns, best wishes.
  18. I trust Mort as much as your average crackhead. He's an @ss
  19. Read the articles on the signing, carucci states DJ was the one who pushed TO with RW
  20. This was an original thought... when it was posted on pft. Get some original thoughts and don't just rip off other people
  21. Well, after that press conference it seems pretty apparent he is trying to make the best out of what is for him a bad situation with getting cut. The fact that he entered the building at OBD and signed pretty much immediately means this was a business decision. Either way, it's gonna be some ride
