  1. That's funny. Because after watching the Pats against the Dolphins and the 49'ers, I have no doubt they're done.
  2. Williams will have to sit-out the first 4 games of 2005 since he didn't file his papers to serve his suspension at the end of THIS season. Basically, Williams is non-factor in the RB market this off-season since even if a team DID sign him, they'd need another RB for the first 4 games. Dumb.
  3. Dang. Maybe the Bills should have kept LeBeau?
  4. Chad is a realist. He knows his team shouldn't have even made it that far and had no chance at the SB, his kicker is the one everyone will be calling the goat, and he's still getting paid.
  5. Yes but that fan said he's been following them for almost 40 years. The Jets won the SB in 1969, which is within that time period. Thus my confusion (or his/hers).
  6. ...and how Pennington "just wins."
  7. Uh, didn't the Jets win a SB sometime during that fan's almost 40 years of watching them?
  8. His first INT looked like he MEANT to throw it to Tongue. The second one was a bad throw that was in no way a missed route by the WR, or a tipped pass.
  9. The Colts that year were akin to the Lions in 1991, i.e. a team that had no business being where they were in the playoffs, yet it took the last second for the Steelers to bear them. Consequently they got pounded in the SB against the Cowboys.
  10. 16-0 would be my conservative estimate.
  11. As more time goes by, more and more people realize who much the Patriots are allowed to get away with stuff. That's why they've never really gotten the respect that true SB champs deserve.
  12. Roethlisberger had some amazingly bad INT's in the game yesterday. They weren't as bad as Brady's in the MOST EMBARRASSING LOSS OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS, but they were close. I think the Steelers beat the Pats, but lose to the Colts.
  13. If it happens, an inch is nothing. But talk about your amazing luck for the Pats. I don't think the Bills ever got this percentage (75%) of snowy home playoff games.
  14. I agree on OL. That needs to be fixed first and foremost. With the weapons the Bills have on offense (could use a dominant TE though), they could be an offensive powerhouse with a good O-line. And on defense, I said they need a defense that can close the deal. I didn't say they needed to bust the cap on new guys. Hopefully another year will help the youngsters improve the defense.
  15. Take a look at Roethlisberger today. He had a horrible game and almost cost them the win. But they won. IOW it's a TEAM game. The Bills played like shiite against the Steelers AS A TEAM in week 17. Like I said, I'm still disgusted by that performance because I thought at least SOME part of the team would have shown up.
  16. Jags game: Bills won the TOP by almost 8 minutes. In the first Jets game, they lost the TOP. However against the Steelers, the Bills were winning in TOP until that crushing 9 minute drive against the 3rd stringers. So that's 2 of 3 games. And yes while other positions could stand to improve, defense cannot be left-out.
  17. Getting rid of TW was a mistake. Blame GW for that one. As for Bledsoe, who should they have gotten instead last off-season? And McKinnie isn't better than MW. I think we've beaten THAT dead horse.
  18. Bledsoe isn't the only problem with the team and inserting a mobile QB won't be the cure-all people are thinking it will be. The Bills need a better O-line, a new kicker, and even a defense that can close the deal. Until then they can easily be a 10 win team, just not a championship one.
  19. This team isn't going to do nothing over the off-season.
  20. Yes and I forgot the rest of the offense as well, as well as the play-calling/coaching. It still doesn't excuse missing what should be an automatic FG, or allowing 3rd stringers to take the lead for good against you.
  21. In addition, blame the ST's for having a horrible game, against a bad ST's team. Also blame the defense for allowing the Steelers' 3rd string offense to put them ahead for good.
  22. Angh (trying to make the "wrong" buzzer sound)! I'll give you Alexander and James (who will be franchised), but Johnson is NOT better, A-Train CERTAINLY is not, and the others are worse if not mostly unproven because they're all backups. Take off your Henry-hating blinders, and when you realize the number of teams who will be in the market for RB's and what teams REALLY think of the RB's who will be available, Travis will be one of the most sought-after.
  23. No. Their team put up a better fight against the Steelers' FIRST string, and IN Pittsburgh. They almost won if not for their kicker.
