  1. That should have been Clements out there returning that. Hopefully he would have fielded it cleanly and got out of bounds sooner if he had to. Parrish is a rookie and that was too important of a return.
  2. You didn't get the notice of the programming change? Tonight's game was changed to the Buffalo Bills vs. Teddy Bruschi.
  3. No, drink it straight from the bottle. I swear to god it will make you feel better!
  4. ....makes me want to eat my furniture and then kick in my television!! I thought Peters played great though. Can we put Preston in for Anderson? Please??!!!
  5. As a friend of mine said, a long winded interview that was TAPED IN ADVANCE should have been run at half-time or pregame.
  6. I think they should use Losman in goal-line or 4th and 1 situations. He's made people jump offsides before and might even force a team into taking an unneeded time-out.
  7. If we run less than 30 times we lose, no doubt. Otherwise we at least have a chance.
  8. 1) A veteran WR to possibly replace Moulds (a #2 or #3 type guy) 2) Figure out OL strategy; FA and/or draft 3) Find a DT to play along side and/or replace Sam Adams
  9. The Bills also worked out Quentin Griffin--who worked out for the Pats. Coincedence?
  10. It's what I was saying the whole game. They basically beat us with one wide receiver (Stallworth). He went 8 for 129 yards.
  11. I've been saying this for a long time, our TE's are pretty poor by league standards. Campbell: is okay but inconsistent. Probably as a part of the game plans more than his fault. He's more of a "target" than a receiver, meaning he can get open 5 to ten yards down the field for a catch but is no threat to break one for big yardage. Neufeld: is a blocking fullback in disguise. Euhus: hasn't done anything yet. That's why I'm hoping Kevin Everett can make it back sometime this season! With him and Parrish in the lineup that changes everything!
  12. That does seem strange that Gause was not included. Maybe he declined the offer?
  13. I would endorse one of those guys for PS with a shot at the active roster next year.
  14. I've never had soggy wings at Duff's, I don't know what that's about. The Anchor is great, but it can get pricey.
  15. "Tabs" use numbers instead of musical notation, so you don't have to actually read sheet music. The numbers correspond to the fret and show the string where you need to put each finger. So on a bass tab if you see a number 5 on the fourth line (bottom line) it means to play the fourth string at the fifth fret. Here's Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" for example: http://www.bassmasta.net/a/aerosmith/101156.html
  16. I don't think the casinos are a cure-all. However, I think the article did point out something interesting. Unlike the Seneca Niagara, Buffalo wants the Senecas to operate the casino in Buffalo and THAT'S IT. Any hotels, shops, and other businesses would not be run by the Senecas. That way those businesses would be taxable, unlike the new hotel in Niagara Falls. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.
  17. Was Rosenhaus the agent who shopped Volek to the Bills? or did he have a different agent then? Either way Rosenhaus is doing his client a disservice because it's likely that Mcnair won't make it through the season, and if he doesn't he'll probably retire at the end of the year.
  18. There's lots of books like this: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_de...e=Sheet%20Music Any of the actual song books are likely to be REALLY confusing until he can at least read tablature.
  19. I've dabbled (and I do mean dabbled) in guitar and now bass for about the last 20 years. I'm no expert, but I would let him get used to the instrument a bit. Playing with his fingers (as a majority of bass players do) is going to be tough at first so a heavy pick might be appropriate. There probably is a beginners books out there, but I would also consider at least a couple of lessons. That way the proper fundamentals and technique could be taught to make learning easier. What kind of bass is he getting? Is he getting an amp too?
  20. I heard Paul Hamilton on WGR report this live.
  21. Surprises: Jason Peters at OL and Lionel Gates.
  22. ...as the Lions GM for FIVE more years!!! OMG!!! The world has ended and they haven't told us yet.
  23. Hmmm, they were talking about him somewhat positively on WGR this evening. They tempered that with the fact that if he makes it to the Green Bay scrimmage as the starter we'll see what he's made of then.
  24. ....with Atlanta. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2115402
  25. Thanks for posting the link. Man that is sad. Thanks to those asshats at 92.9 I have nothing to listen to in the afternoon.
