    So you're in favor of "unleashing" JP and turns into Michael Vick? That guy is a veteran and still can't learn how to be a QB. We don't need a glorified RB under center with a strong arm. That won't take you places you want to go.

    Ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh...............it's never the line's fault. It's funny how we have a QB carousel on this team and yet nothing seems to change. When will it be the line's fault? When we trade for Vick and find even he can't evade the pass rush with his legs? Pass blocking has been a joke on this team for far too long.

    What if Kelly and Craig DON'T play any better, what then? Draft a QB next year in the first round?

    1. He has no pocket presence. 2. He can't read coverages well. 3. The line does suck pass blocking.

    In a way, I'm glad we didn't take the lead so we can't blame another 4th quarter collapse on the defense.

    We made the same arguments last year too. When Kelly came in we didn't do any better and had to reconstruct the line remember?

    That makes too much sense. We can't execute fundamentally and of course a rookie QB will suck when he has no confidence in his line and thusly, himself.

    I think the problem is we can't block a pass rush of 5 guys when he have obvious passing downs. Now that is scary and hardly JP's fault. I haven't seen any games from beginning to end but if he like 5 secs to throw and can't then he could very well be the prob.

    Hehehe. It looks like we can run the ball when we need to so that is something to build on. JP's prob seems to be that he has much difficulty in the short passing game.

    Good point. Maybe the other guys in front of him are playing very well and we don't have a need for Youboty right now. We've had a number of corners who didn't play much in their rookie years but later turned out to be great acquisitions.

    If we keep giving up 500 yards of offense to the other team, we won't be winning any more games. That's a guarantee.

    LOL! JP for some reason has huge problems with the short passing game. This accounts for the 1/2 the sacks at least.
