Just traded for Willis in my fantasy league!
jarthur31 replied to The Riddler's topic in Fantasy Football
Dude, you need a gf in the worst way! -
Ummm.....I think you don't understand him. He isn't back because he wants to be here. He just doesn't want to pay back money he might've already spent or wants to keep. I think he has already "retired" mentally from football for good. The Dolphins want to trade this loser so bad but they haven't found any takers yet.

TD looking to fit Corey Simon under the cap
jarthur31 replied to losmanera's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This guy doesn't seem to have much of an upside. I'd rather have a hard working Edwards or Anderson that a lazy fat-ass with more skill. We should keep Nate at all costs and try to extend McGee. -
I've got a subscription with Sirius but somehow I can't listen to anything online. Their stupid player is broke. When I contacted them about it, they didn't bother to reply. BTW, I tried it using IE and Firefox and neither worked. Can anyone help me?

Sitting pretty at home with a big fat diamond ring on his finger.

The fact that he didn't outplay the rookie on the other side is a disappointment. Did Moulds make the PB? I happen to think he's PB material and when he doesn't make it, you can ask him yourself if he had a disappointing year! Did you notice all his fumbles and dropped balls?

Add Pat Kirwin to those who dismiss the Bills
jarthur31 replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does everybody assume that just because we have a new QB, we should be penciled in to make the playoffs? I get the feeling that most of you think JP will somehow be PB material this year and lead us into postseason! And if he doesn't, you'll crap all over the guy. Relax, he is just a rookie and expecting too much will undermine his confidence. Hell, Palmer won the Heisman but he didn't take the Bengals on his shoulder to the playoffs. He needs time and I'm willing to give it to him. It's up to the rest of the team to take us there. JP only needs to babysit the offense and NOT make any stupid mistakes. -
Please. It's like you really think TD would be that stupid!

You have to read that article on Jason Peters
jarthur31 replied to RVJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's another great article about Jason and it's funny to boot! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1949716 LMFAO! I just re-read that article and it's fuggen hilarious. -
Why I hope JP is not the second coming of Favre
jarthur31 replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of these QB's mentioned struggled mightily for awhile but management saw enough that they could be taught and improve. Both were not the saviors for their teams right off the bat and neither will JP! The fans must learn patience and see that he will succeed with more experience in the league. This is a team sport after all and everyone must contribute. When we win, we all win; when we lose, we all lose. It's really that simple. -
What is MOST important for Bill's 05 Playoff Run?
jarthur31 replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was easy. Looking at the results, it's weird to see why all of a sudden we think the line is the priority now that DB is gone. I voted for the line like I did last year. If they had played better, I don't think JP would be starting right now. So I guess we're lucky they played below average last year. -
Now that is truly disturbing! Of the games I saw last year, this worries me the most. Willis is kidding himself if the thinks he's going to lead the league in rushing if he has to carry the team again. With a rookie QB under center, you'd be stupid not to take out the running game first. Losman doesn't scare me. He's a rookie and he is going to struggle. But it's not his job to win games anyway. Defense will play fine this year and teams might have a good year again but it's up to the other 10 guys on offense to play alot better than last year if we are to make the playoffs. Only Willis and Lee bothered to show up last year. Moulds was a disappointment and that line was horrible. I fear for JP if the continue to struggle but I think the right side will play a whole lot better.

Is everyone actually this stupid....
jarthur31 replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You forget, many on this board don't respect Manning and what he's done in the league. For whatever reasons, he just sux. If it were possible, I'd take him over DB in a heartbeat last year! -
What, no Thurman or Bruce?

Guys if Im being honest, JP looked average
jarthur31 replied to The Riddler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He played for the cellar dwellers that were the Bucs. This year's Bills are most certainly not the Bucs! -

jarthur31 replied to The Riddler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One cannot make an accurate assessment based on a scrimmage and somehow think he will suck in his career. But I do know he will struggle this season and won't be the savior many on this board think he is this year. After a few years, he's going to be a perennial PB, IMO. This year, the other 10 guys on offense have to step up so we won't have to depend on him to win games for us. As long as he doesn't make mistakes and takes care of the offense, we are in the playoffs. -
I will hold off judgement until game 6 of the regular season. I know he won't lead us into the playoffs. He just has to be the caretaker of the offense and make zero mistakes--then we're in. JP is still a rookie after all but alot of board members will take a dump on him if he doesn't take us to the SB! That's foolish. As it stands right now, JP is not better than Jimbo and it's ludicrous to expect that out of him.

Would you trade Moulds for Corey Simon?
jarthur31 replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you serious? If it wasn't for Eric last year, do you think Lee would've had the year he did?? -
The packers, defensively, over the past few years have been slipping.

Anyone starting to think competition for the
jarthur31 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh man, does this make the DB release seem like a bad thing now? Dude, the past can't be changed and we have to live with that decision now. He's a ROOKIE! Did you really think he would somehow become the new Jim Kelly in one year? He has alot to learn in this league. The rest of the offense needs to pick him up and not make mistakes because he's going to. I believe he will help us down the road tho. I was hoping we coulda kept Drew just for one more year becuz he could lead us into the playoffs. This is asking too much of a rookie, IMO. If we start out fast, we have a realistic shot at post season. -
This McGee kid will open some eyes if he hasn't already. I think he'll become the stud corner that Nate is right now very soon. At least, I hope he does.

Random observations from the scrimmage
jarthur31 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh man, you don't know how much I needed to hear this! Saying that, I stil believe that Willis and the line will be key to it all. If we are to make the playoffs, we need to win all of our home games and not sh-- a brick like we did last year against Pitt. The D must show up against the very good teams. I don't think teams will help us much this year because they will surprise no one. I'm hoping for a .500 season which is quite attainable. Playoffs would rock tho! -
People actually forget that their tax dollars do not support the US Postal Service!!! They support themselves quite nicely w/o attempting to make a profit. Too bad we can't say that about any other government agency. I bow to all the men and women who work for the USPS.

Bills trying to get Eagles' Corey Simon!
jarthur31 replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do we really need him? Only time will tell. We absolutely need somebody to stuff the run like Pat did. I'd rather keep both Clements and McGee and use the $$$$ on them. -
RWS not loud like it used to be..
jarthur31 replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fewer seats doesn't really explain the loss of decibel levels. Other stadiums on radio are very loud. That is their crowds are very obvious on a big play but then again they can play with that and amplify it with current technologies.
