The past few years, I noticed our problems were on the line mostly. Changing QB's is going to do very little to help. It just puts more pressure on them to be perfect now!!! Impossible. I don't know how we're going to win playoff games if we can't get there. My prediction: 8-8. JP is just a rookie and I'm not praying for miracles from him right now. I'm not that dumb. I'm patient enough to allow him to "learn" the NFL for 3 years. I just hope everyone on this board won't sh-- on him. Willis might get another 1000 yards and 8 TD's but he's going to work harder for it now. Defenses would be idiotic not to focus on him this year.

Simply because a WR is useless if he can't catch the ball bro. Nobody here expects him to be a burner like Evans is--that's not his forte. As a slot receiver, his job is to get open and catch those 3rd down passes. He's shown that he can't do that. We need to find somebody else who can. It makes you wonder why he's regressed since his rookie year.

Scott, I didn't attack anybody or was being as ass or obnoxious. Just because I spoke my mind about the "offensive" line and it's putrid performance against Indy's 2nd and 3rd stringers didn't deserve the treatment I got from everybody else there. What everyone seems to forget that unless they stop playing like this, we're going to go on that same 0-4 road we had last year! I'll be the first, like last year, not to blame the QB! I'm more objective than most on this board.

I've been petitioning for this since the end of the 2003 season. Special Teams ace my ass! He is a waste of a roster spot. We were exposed last year when Milloy was injured. This time around we have another SS tho. I wish TD would check his ego and release this guy.

Great points! My comments: 1. He's only a rookie and will grow into the position. 2. Yes, they demonstrated that fact last year when we went 0-4. We can only hope that experience will prevent this from becoming a pattern. 3. Both our starting TE's are coming off significant injuries. We would be best served waiting until a real game before putting them out there again. 4. I have no clue why we're holding onto him. Must be a TD ego thing. Wire sux. Period. 5. If I were to buy a defensive player's jersey, it would be London's. He is the heart and soul of the D, regardless of what pundits or the media think. 6. Yes, once again Shaud proves to his teammates that he is a capable backup. I don't think he could start for any stretch of time because of his size. He just couldn't take the pounding. I really thought that Lee would've shown more but it's disappointing that he hasn't seized the backup slot. 7. Reed doesn't have speed and most won't dispute that. He just doesn't run great routes and get open. But the worst sin is, he has very bad hands and can't catch anything thrown his way. What puzzles me is that Aiken can't seem to pass him on the depth chart! We are thin at receiver and very exposed if the others don't show more. 8. Ted has proven himself as an offensive guru. You can't lead the league in offense for two different teams in two different eras w/o knowing something about offense. Thurman had a great career but he never rushed for 1600 yards in a season. I think he really wants to stay in Buffalo and might make some monetary concessions unless the deal TD offers him is nowhere near his ballpark figures. If he play the free agent market, then we have no chance of keeping him!
