  1. Don't say things like that, or you won't last long in the chat room. Such logic has no place there. I FLMAO @ changing QB's would make the line better.
  2. Dude! LOL! Stop watching ESPN and the problem goes away.
  3. Posters who think rationaly don't really care about the final score. They're worried about the performance of the 1st teamers on O. Are they ready? Can they execute? etc, and so forth. The line needs to improve before September if we are to even have a winning record. Blocking for Willis seems alot harder now. They can't do it 1 on 1 and that's really sad. And JP is not leading us to the Super Bowl. The team hasn't asked him to do that. Yet.
  4. I don't know where you've been but Wire sux in coverage. He seems lost out there and nobody is fooled. I can't seem to remember reading any threads where his tackling was absolutely horrid but yes he's missed his share just like anybody esle.
  5. Ummm......that's been happening for quite a while now and very few of us have noticed it. And if we do point it out, we get sh-- on. You don't have to be a Pro Bowler to hold your block for a few scant seconds so that your RB can find a lane to run thru. Changing QB's was not going to change this part of the offense. MM was very upset with this in his post game remarks. How he plans to fix it w/o a roster turnover is beyond me. He knows all defenses will key on the running game and dare the rookie QB to beat them. JP doesn't have to beat anybody. It's up to the other 10 guys on O to pick him up and carry him.
  6. Damn you and that logic! I'm not worried about the score at all but rather the way the 1st stringers played. Some people on this board think it will cure itself by the time September comes around; yet they fail to realize that this same b.s. is what caused last year's 0-4 start.
  7. Joe, I don't think anyone here is harping on the defense. Everybody is worried about the O-line and JP's inexperience. JP will be fine and is not called on to win games. It'll take awhile before he becomes comfortable. So far he hasn't seen the blitz. What is troublesome is how our line can't run block 1 on 1 for Willis. Looks like another long year. The receivers are dropping balls all over again. And for whatever reason, our superstars keep fumbling in the red zone. This just in, Henry is no longer on the roster!
  8. Check out his history with long FG dude. Yup, it sux mightily.
  9. You guys need to call, E-mail, whatever and demand for your media guides! If you paid for it as part of some packaged deal, then the onus falls on you. I know I'd take the initiative.
  10. Have you been living in a cave? How is this different from last year? And please no b.s about the QB. Willis had to work extra hard to get all those yards. Imagine what he could've done with a more competent line. I bet you he's wishing he had that line in Miami.
  11. You mean like Jonas Jennings dollars and see the rest of the team go down the drain? I say we franchise him next year and build a dynasty instead.
  12. Nate shouldn't be doing that and Willis shouldn't be playing. I'd rather we lost them to injury when it counts but not now!
  13. I guess you weren't here last preseason and during that 0-4 start to the 2004 seaason. It's that same old b.s. Fumbles in the red zone and dropped easy passes don't surprise me anymore.
  14. With each passing spectacular play, Nate is pretty much his own marketing machine and you can bet TD won't bother to offer a competing contract. All we can hope for is another couple of years with him as our starter. He'll be franchised next year. *sigh*
  15. Look at how we played last preseason and how it carried over to the first four games. I sense a pattern here.
  16. He better not become a liability like last year where Moorman had to swallow his pride and attempt 20 yard punts again. Yes, he had to do that again tonite.
  17. Come on people, it's not up to JP to win games for us! The other 10 guys on O have to do that. It sure doesn't help when we're fumbling in the red zone again by our starters. I blame the line. They've played so poorly. How do they allow a 20 yard sack when we're at the 3 getting ready for the TD???
  18. WTF happened to letting the younger guys getting all the reps? Willis doesn't need to play at all. And when he does, he fumbles at the freaking goal line!!! And why do we not score on that INT by Spikes when we have 1st and goal at the !@#$ing 3!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Ummmm.........then why did we give up that 40 yard run that set up their FG? Man, our O blows once again. Everybody is dropping balls and fumbling all over again. I see another 0-4 start. This will carry over to the regular season. That's a guarantee. :pissed:
  20. If Eric has badly bruised ribs, I don't think he'll play much if at all. This is the time for comprehensive evaluations before cut day next Tuesday. MM has said Willis won't play much vs. the Bears.
  21. RB will make the HOF!
  22. OMFG! Now, that is a shirt you can wear any day of the year. Nice. Kudos to the designer.
  23. You can say what you want about DB but RB's who amass 1700 rushing yards in back-to-back years are not slow, can't catch, or are just plain stupid yet seem to make the PB.
  24. Tonight's game should be a huge test for JP. The line better block the blitz the Bears are certain to bring.
  25. I think he makes the PB again this year. Prob will for the next 2-3 years too.
