  1. Are they even producing anything there?
  2. I would suspect a neighbor.. NOT a good neighbor either.
  3. Great to hear he's doing OK. Pray that his recovery continues.
  4. We could merge this with recent tags; How frequently do you go to beaches? OR Favorite Nuts. I prefer swimming pools. No wild animals there.
  5. He also leaves his garage door up about 1-2 feet from closing. Can't understand how a copperhead or a skunk has not entered yet, Could be the aroma??
  6. It's OK to use the "Buffalo brush off" with neighbors, when applicable.
  7. The person who put a new employee, unsupervised, on the fire alarm/dispatch board needs to be fired! Most old churches have wood roofs. St Patrick's in NYC is called the lumber yard by the fire inspectors. But it has a fire suppression system that could slow or stop a problem till the FD got there..
  8. Lived in the Richmond area since 2004. I was expecting more Carolina fans but mostly Redskins and Cowboys, just to be able to argue with the Skins fans. Couple years ago the Skins moved their training camp from Carlisle PA to Richmond. Obviously because of the $$$ deal, but I can't think of a more hateful place to locate an NFL summer camp than here. We usually go out to the W side of Richmond to get to the BILLS bar.
  9. Forgot to mention, he's a Miami fan.
  10. Always try to be but have had our share of losers over the years. Right now, one side is a youngish couple with 2 pre-schoolers, and they are very nice. the other side is a nutcase and has at least 15 cats. We love cats, just not his! Hope he'll move but we've been here 15 years and he was here when we bought. His wife left him a few years ago because he was abusive, so now it's just him and the cats. The inside must smell delightful!
  11. I could do with some Lake effect about now!
  12. You have the makings of a Burma Shave sign.
  13. Well. if it lasts over 4 hours, see a doctor..
  14. Follow the money....Who's paying for all this, and why?
  15. Used to love the Canadian Beaches, back when getting into Canada was not the adventure it has now become. When Bethlehem Steel was operating, used to watch them, from Ft Erie, dump the slag from the open hearth furnaces, into Lake Erie. They had a chute it used to run down, that resembled Kilauea at night. Good times!
  16. Most of us are from Buffalo, where "clothing" is/was a necessity.
  17. It was a gift because "they're not worthy!"
