Once again, head over to OBD and stabilize things. I am not saying JP is the answer. I just find it hard to claim he's *not* the answer considering there were so many factors working against him this year (Mularky, OL, so called "veterans",etc.). Oh and let's not forget it was his first year starting...

What was Ted supposed to do with that group? Herm wanted a Tampa cover 2 defense. They did not have the personnel to run it. Ted made do with what he had. He then became Herm's scapegoat.

I could have sworn I read they were bitching about how complex the scheme was and they wanted him to simplify it. Which threw Teddy for a loop since he dummed it down to begin with.

Welcome to the retard rollercoaster phenomena of this board. I say give the kid a legitamate chance to develop and see what happens. Not to mention, give him a decent OL and veterans who aren't willing to throw him under the bus to hide their shortcomings.

Sorry that's not correct. They changed quite a bit on defensive personel after Cottrel. Herm wanted Ted to run a Tampa cover2 defense with players who weren't right for that system.
