  1. We’re Josh and Diggs. Our RBs I’ll say have talent when given the opportunity. Davis is a scramble drill WR or someone that can sneak behind the defense. He should’ve had a deep one tonight.
  2. Some good games this weekend to watch.
  3. Rhodes I believe had most of the snaps.
  4. Could be so many things. Could’ve been late to a meeting. Could be anything.
  5. Bengals have that infamous turf everyone fears.
  6. Not a good sign.
  7. They moved Doyle to OG and love Boettger remember. I fully believe they feel they were set at OL for a few years.
  8. Spencer Brown is a liability. I know he had zero offseason due to the back injury but he needs to go to the bench when Dawkins returns. Quessenberry is a bit more stable, but still a backup quality RT. I actually wonder if when Ike Boettger is healthy we won’t see Bates shift out to RT and Boettger at RG.
  9. They need to draft offense early and often next year, not fire the GM/HC. But criticism will be warranted if they don’t turn it around.
  10. I don’t believe they felt the OL would be weak. People are missing a very important part, this was talent evaluation. The Bills thought they had a good OL. Dawkins and Morse are solid players. They felt Bates and Brown would be very good starters for them. They thought Saffold was a good stopgap LG for a year. This was by design. They could’ve done other things at both OG positions. They could’ve tried to upgrade OT and make Brown a swing depth OT. They wanted this OL. If the offense continues down the path they’re heading it’s a Brandon Beane failure.
  11. He wasn’t a distraction. Only distraction was for himself. He wasn’t playing well. He was beat up. Let’s not forget he played this year and didn’t do much. He basically quit on Tampa, even though I think they were going to cut him once WRs were healthy. He’s old. It happens.
  12. It’s simply performance based. He was breaking down. Beasley fresh might be a good idea.
  13. It’s year 3 of Davis. Same guy he’s been. Crowder is always hurt, same guy. Davis has very little run after catch and contested catch ability. That’s not someone you want as a WR2.
  14. All the WRs are exactly what they have shown in the past, Shakir excluded. A huge roster and player evaluation failure by Brandon Beane’s staff. It is what it is. Allen and Diggs are doing it all themselves.
  15. Multi-year deal doesn’t have to include a lot of guarantees. They can make it look bigger than it is but I could see a 2 year commitment.
  16. I think the bills are now prepared to offer OBJ a multiyear contract due to the disappointing Gabe Davis season.
  17. Maybe the answer to the passing game is to phase out Gabe Davis. He’ll still dominate snaps but make him a 3rd or 4th option on most passing plays. Only problem with McKenzie is his route tree is limited. He’s mostly running crossers. Knox is also catching mostly check downs. We need someone else that can run some routes and get open.
  18. They’re scoring but the passing game isn’t fine. I don’t think Beasley is the answer.
  19. It’s going to depend how the season goes. Right now the passing offense is trending down. It hasn’t been weather related either. 1st 6 games 330 ypg 13 TDs and 4 INTs. The last 5 240 ypg 6 TDs and 7 ints. Josh is a rare QB that can still put up points with those horrendous passing numbers. The Bills average 27 ppg over this 5 game stretch. Allen is amazing. But focusing on the passing game, it’s been a struggle.
  20. He says he would, not that he wants to.
  21. Very different types of WRs. Davis is mostly a product of scramble drill catches and schemed deep balls.
  22. This game will be about which OT gets Josh Allen hit more, Quessenberry or Spencer Brown. Run Josh RUUUUN!
  23. It’s Buffalo. Don’t you understand all we do is shovel snow and welcome players at the airport?
  24. Which is why I defended the strategy. They were all in on Davis, and weren’t drafting his replacement in the 1st round last year. But, he was wrong about Davis being that guy. When you’re wrong you get criticized. Beane deserves criticism for how he’s handled WR.
