I wonder about Chad Hall. Hodgins was supposed to be a big slot WR for us. With Crowder injured there was a huge opportunity for Hodgins to take over the slot role or at least split with McKenzie. Instead Hodgins was working as depth behind Diggs.
It’s a missed opportunity. Looks like they didn’t evaluate their players well.
Many Bills fans think this is as good as we get with the current group.
No high draft pick. No cap space. So the biggest changes will have to come from coaching. That’s their belief.
The Bills can win the AFC with the right moves in the draft and UFA.
Position coaches like stability. He probably thought there was more stability in Jacksonville. Which tells me the offensive staff has been put on notice.
Carroll deserved just as much as Daboll. But I think the award always goes to the coach of the biggest surprise team or the coach of a team that dominates the league.
Daboll and Carrol are probably the biggest surprises last year. Pederson also but Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be in the playoffs at some point.
Shakir will have to earn it. He’s an average WR physically. He has talent but he’ll start as a 4th option next year unless he has an outstanding offseason.
Knox is an elite talent at TE. Still improving as a route runner. He should be used like a top 5 TE. Those guys get 100+ targets.
