They don’t necessarily need to get younger, as in rookies. They can find very cheap veteran starter quality safeties and also find some older edge players for stop gap replacements.
They probably sign 2 veteran starting safeties for the combined cap of Jordan Poyer.
I think we’ll all be excited about the potential of the offense on paper. They will add talent at WR. The offense is pretty set after they add a WR.
The defense is my biggest question mark. I’m not exactly sure what direction they go in for safety and edge replacements. Do they go with veterans or youth?
He’s had a couple important games. His first playoff game also. Made some incredible catches and we might not win without him.
But it’s time to move on.
Basically. I’ve been saying this. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see Milano and Bernard together much last year though. I had a feeling Bernard was going to go off in the playoffs.
Well we didn’t have Milano or Bernard. I’ve seen Milano in the playoffs, so far he hasn’t been that impact guy. Not sure he’ll all of a sudden be that guy as he gets deeper into his 30’s.
Bernard is the guy I’m hoping steps up in the playoffs because we haven’t seen him in the playoffs yet.
His weight doesn’t matter. Andy Reid is probably seeing DeSean Jackson all over again. I think he goes to the Chiefs. They already have their X in Rice.
I think we’re sitting in a great spot to land Brian Thomas, Adonai Mitchell, or Troy Franklin. I bet Beane trades up a few spots to get the guy he really wants. All these WRs have 1st round talent imo.
He’s said it a couple times now.
