  1. You mean you haven't seen personal fouls called on other teams for patting their teammates on the helmet for good plays??
  2. Was at the game, a few things that stood out - The Giants special teams were so far superior to our it wasn't even funny. Just their guys beating our guys asses consistently - With all the "fire" our players allegedly have (errr personal foul, personal foul, personal foul, personal foul) - the Giants were far more pumped (in a good way) the whole game - The Bills couldn't have done a better job taking the crowd out of the game with that 1st half performance. I go to one game a year, my brother and I fly in to take my Dad for his bday with our sons - we're all hyped for months and yesterday the friggin Bills have us sitting there at times almost bored out of our minds. WTF. That's actually a hard thing to do AT A FRIGGIN FOOTBALL GAME. BTW happy 81st Dad - the friggin Bills put a damper on another one this year - I can't figure out what the deal is with the DL. Zone blitzes aside, there were times when guys just seemed to be standing up and half-heartedly rushing - not sure if they were purposely just trying to stay home for screens or misdirection, but it sure didn't look like as a unit they had blood lust to kill a QB. And don't give me this crap about if the QB gets rid of it fast the DLine can't matter. BS. You can still at least present a semblance of pressure to at least make the QB slightly uncomfortable - Someone needs to line up Billy the Buffalo and the person in charge of the sound for the stadium and EXECUTE THEM. It's not just the beyond ridiculous train horn, its also all the other crap they feel the need to obnoxiously blare EVERY SECOND that it is not illegal to do so. It comes off as completely bush league. Like the fans can't generate their own noise and excitement. All it does is completely ruin the great atmosphere that organic fan cheering and excitement make. Sometimes the best parts of the games are the spaces in between when you can just take in the atmosphere of the crowd and the stadium - even (especially) if it isn't artificially amped up to 11. So embarrassing.
  3. In town for the game, ordering Santoras now. Always been one of my faves
  4. Another thing that I believe is that as each week goes by a little more will be installed and the players will become more and more familiar with the offense and will be thinking less and executing better and faster. Add into that that Tyrod is basically learning all the nuances of being a starting QB week to week, and we haven't been fully healthy yet. There is a real possibility we have only seen the tip of what this offense can be, and it could really be something much better near the end of the regular season.
  5. This is a crazy idea, but have to give you props for being creative. The clever part is the only 5 yd penalty for holding vs 15 for unsportsmanlike contact if you try to take shots at the QB close to the whistle or after
  6. I just hope there is a plan to keep continuity with the same offense if he does leave and not have some OC come in and change everything and start all over again. Especially since offensive success would mean the offense itself made good use of the talents of TT and the other players. Is that what Chris Palmer is here for?
  7. Rambo should have smashed into Gilmore after that one
  8. I remember sneaking into the movie when it came out - and the tons of controversy at the time because it was too violent
  9. Dude was being blocked successfully one on one most plays by kids literally half his size
  10. He held a PC when he thought he had the real thing, so it's not like he wasn't setting his client up for questioning anyway. If they say of course we have it - then he decides how he wants to play the harassment angle (either low key it, or still hold the PC but show how they were being harassed). I still think it is inexcusable to come out firing (with a PC!) without doing even some basic due diligence to see if what you have is real or fake
  11. Even if he had lost faith in them - he had to be able to trust the system enough to think he would be able to get an honest answer to "BTW - do you guys still have the rape kit?" It would be insane for them to lie about that? At a minimum he wouldn't have as much egg on his face if he could say - "I did contact them and they said they didn't have the kit anymore" To not follow up at all with them is just bat **** crazy
  12. I'm so confused by this 1) Why would a lawyer with 30 yrs experience go rouge and hold a press conference stating he had the actual rape kit from the case that was left in the mother's door without following up with the authorities first to confirm whether they no longer were in possession of the kit. This is just common sense. It is insane 2) How in the world would the mother think she could actually get away with the hoax when she knew the real rape kit still existed. Or is it that she knew it would come out as fake, but thought it would help gain sympathy if it looked like they were being harassed ? (if that's the case then she really did hang the attorney out to dry - although he deserved it with his unbelievable stupidity not to follow up with the authorities on whether they had the kit in their possession)
  13. Leodis on the way back (0:14) That doesn't strike me as the greatest exercise to be doing coming back from a severe ankle injury?
  14. Why in the world do people do this type of thing via twitter
  15. Not one my little pony mention? My son and I blame my wife. Last week the game started to turn in Indys favor as soon as my wife entered the room and we literally shouted her out. We let her watch this week. We took our shirts off midway through the game to no avail
  16. Ha - that's the first thing I thought - now the Pats** won't have our gameplan the next time we play them
