  1. Anthony Gray or Lionel Gates? They both set the world on fire.
  2. Thanks for the tip Exiled, although I lack the $$$ to make this happen. Hopefully there won't be any more 8" rainy days!
  3. This obviously makes him the highest paid running back in the league and will affect the contracts of other top runners, but how does it compare to what he was asking? He originally wanted top 5 money, REGARDLESS of position! Did he achieve his wish? There's no way I would've gave him that much coin and furthermore, he will inevitably be hurt going against guys who are in football shape. It happens almost every time an athlete tries to push himself, before he is conditioned to return...
  4. Hurricane Katia is on her way to the states. Too early to tell which direction she will go, but hopefully it's not the East Coast again! Hurricane Katia - Accuweather.com
  5. I was going to complain about my laborious 10 hour shift in rescuing my basement apartment from going under and then I saw these photos... Carrying a 5 gallon bucket of water up 7 stairs, 20 times per hour for 10 hours, is much better than what these people have had to endure! These pictures were from Saybrook St and Croft Pl in Staten Island, NY.
  6. Edwards... At least Losman had a 3000+ yard season and 19 TDs. If I had to choose between two failures at QB, I'd pick the guy who chucks it down the field, rather than the one who pushes it 2 yards. Lee Evans knew JP was the better QB for his game and publicly advocated for him to start. None of this matters now, Fitz is the man!
  7. Welker was an UDFA and was cut by the Chargers after the first game of the season I believe.
  8. It's interesting to see everyone's taste in women. I like the Italian look and although #13 isn't my favorite on this list, she still gets a special shout out from me since no one had mentioned her. Nice.
  9. Haha. I'm one of the rare non-drinkers that inhabit this world. Thanks all for the love, I figured we could use a laugh.
  10. A flash of blue and a hint of red, as a player in white streaks by, An oblong ball meets the tip of a shoe, welcome to One Bills Drive. Hopes and cheers emanate from a crowd, the opening game underway, A legion of men, clad in helmets and pads, determined to win on this day. A charging Buffalo froths at the mouth, as steam ejects from his nose, The opposing team? Done. Frightened with fear, hardly a worthy foe. An army of cleats stir a cloud of dust and three hours later it's over, Visibility improves, the scoreboard is proof: “Oh how did I watch this $#!t sober?!” One game in the books, the men fought hard, but the opposition was strong, “We'll get 'em next year” sing the die-hards, lyrics to their favorite song. A Bills fan requires patience and faith, but more importantly, two pills for the headache, A masochistic mentality, an aversion to reality, a fear of impending heartbreak. I Hate That I Love This Team GO BILLS! -Jai Brandon
  11. McKelvin should be on his way to a team that could give us a young promising OL. Aaron Williams is ready to play and gain experience, he can't do that being the 5th corner on a team deep at that position. I'd be surprised if McKelvin isn't secretly on the trading block...
  12. I'd offer Leodis McKelvin at the most. Nothing more.
  13. Did Chris Brown change his blog? Levitre is taking reps with the 1st team at LT... http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2011/08/22/levitre-still-on-the-move/
  14. Tonight was EASILY his worst half as a professional. Von Miller and Elvis Dumerville ran circles around him.
  15. In all seriousness, if I were Maybin, I would take a year off from football and work solely on my body. I would get in the 250-260 range, hire a former NFL OLB coach, and go through OLB drill after drill in preparation for the next season. I'd also watch video of those I compare to (Jason Taylor), to see if there was anything I could pick up from them.
  16. I also heard Elway mention how Derrick Thomas used to pose such a huge threat. He wanted someone in that mold who could get after the QB like DT. If the Broncos already had a DL that was able to stop the rush, Von Miller would make much more sense in that situation. Just run, run, run on the Broncos and Von Miller becomes an afterthought. Wrong call Elway.
  17. Haha, yeah... Dareus already has all of those qualities.
  18. Jasper is super athletic, strong, and powerful, unfortunately he's raw as an onion. He lacks technique, experience, and the instincts of playing DT. He may already possess the instincts to play the position, but his skill and technique in beating an OL will take some time. Hope he makes it.
  19. Silly Bronocs... Picking an OLB over a DT. Rules of building a defense 101: all things being equal, you NEVER pass up the athletic big man, in favor of any other position on defense. Athletic big men who are strong and powerful, are perhaps the most difficult to find.
  20. Great!! Now if he ever sees the field, he can be pancaked by CJ Spiller!
  21. Shhhh... You're going to rile up the Kelsay fanboys. They'll come out of the woodwork to try and convince you that Kelsay's a solid and effective starter. Quite simply: Donte Whitner was a more productive SS, than Kelsay is as a DE/OLB.
  22. It really is sad isn't it? I hadn't thought about the ramifications of keeping Kelsay in the lineup, until you pointed them out. We really moved a promising young OLB (Moats) to backup ILB in favor of keeping Kelsay on the field. Carrington, who is much bigger, stronger, and younger, has to play OLB so that Kelsay can remain on the field at DE. Younger, faster, and more promising players, like Danny Batten, can't compete with Moats at OLB, because Kelsay remains on the field. I don't understand the lovefest for the life of me. We've already demonstrated that we're in favor of playing youth and potential over average to above average veteran players. I don't even consider Kelsay average and that's the scary part of the equation. If anything, Kelsay is a backup and should assume that role.
  23. It happens to the best of 'em: . Unfortunately for Maybin, he's without Merriman's history of success.
  24. I would put Kyle Williams over Aaron Schobel right now. We haven't had a player on the DL who wreaked consistent havoc in a while. Schobel was famous for meaningless sacks and wide loops to the QB. Kyle Williams brings it up the middle every down and is too much to handle for most interior lineman. I could NEVER say that Aaron Schobel was too much to handle for most LTs.
  25. Rice On Moss
