  1. Given the fact that as a 1st round pick, you're going to get 3 years at least to prove yourself, its kinda sad that we only have 2 1st rounders who have bene here 4 years or more, Evans and Whitner. The other side of the coin speaks to the fanbase that froths at the mouth when 1st round picks don't make the pro bowl their rookie season. They they are busts and we need to cut them. Bills fans would be happiest if the entire team was comprised of 7th rounders and UDFAs...look how much those guys are loved and viewed, regardless of their actual talent.
  2. So the stereotypes about gay cruises are true after all...
  3. When you dismiss every good game by a QB as a "fluke" or "junk" of course they are going to look bad. Chris Johnson played terrible during his 2,000 yard season, if you ignore all the games he ran for 100 yards or more.
  4. TwoBillsDrive - trashing 1st round draft picks and running them out of town since 1996!
  5. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/user/6151-ladairis/ You think there are actually 2 different people who hate jews and have man-love for tracy porter/eric king/justin geisinger?
  6. By "intelligence" and "versatility" i think you mean "HGH" and "cheating." The pats* have not drafted well recently, and they have actually spent quite a few picks on DBs. Contrary to what many believe, the Bills spend about the league average on DB picks.
  7. If you kept all of your posts to this length, they'd be much more tolerable.
  8. Very true. I know it sounds as if i am in full support of the owners, but i'm really not. Both sides are jackasses that need to get to the table and hammer this thing out. I do abhor De Smith however. I feel he's the bad cog jamming this entire process up for his own personal gain. My biggest fear with the players getting mroe money is that it will drive the cap up higher and faster. Lets face it, the cap was effectively meaningless after the 2006 CBA was signed, because few teams spent up to it. This hurts the Bills. The Bills need to operate in a controlled cost environment, and limiting what the players get is the best way to do this. The last thing i want is an MLB economic situation. In the end, you're right, its us fans who are getting hurt. Something needs to be done to get this worked out. What really should be done is that the owners fund for stadiums (whatever amount is agreed upon), and a (large) fund for retired players should be removed prior to calculating all additional player costs.
  9. No, i know you're not being a dick. We're simply on opposing sides. This begs the question as to why the players didn't need to see any financial records any time in the past, specifically in 2006 when they got an inordinate increase.
  10. So its ok for the owners to agree to revenue sharing, and its ok for the owners to increase the amount they share, but its not ok for the owners to decrease the amount they share?
  11. Last time i checked Levi Brown and Brian Brohm were both on NFl rosters, so they in fact are NFL players. Levi Brown is no better or worse than the majority of 3rd string QBs out there.
  12. Sorry, but as great as Parcells WAS, the game has long since passed him by. His rules for team building may have worked in the 80's and early 90's, but they are well outdated by today's standards. How's Jake Long over Matt Ryan working out for the smelly tuna? Not to mention, what did parcells ever win without belicheat?
  13. General rule of thumb is that the pats* get 2-3 comp picks every year, usually in the 3rd and 4th rounds.
  14. The players sure as hell aren't partners. They work for the owners. Perhaps the players should have thought of the health insurance and other issues that come with decertification before electing an ignorant raging asshat like De Smith who wanted nothing more than to decertify and take this to courts. Had the players elected a leader who had their (as a group) best interests in mind instead of his own agenda to push, they perhaps would have a CBA done or would still be at the table working on one.
  15. But they don't. If you keep "trading back" and never actually spend those extra picks on players, then having all those picks are pointless.
  16. Not really. The players are employees. If they don't like making a smaller raise (notice, they are still getting a yearly raise, just smaller than before), they are free to seek employment elsewhere.
  17. The old poster LaDarius. This is the jackass that told everyone else we were "parroting" what we read and called himself "the football genius." Back on topic, Eric King and Justin Geisinger fully and unconditionally support Israel. Or maybe they are Zionists. Or maybe the other alternative. Whatever their beliefs are, they have a lot more time to practice them since they sure as hell aren't playing in the NFL anymore.
  18. 11 teams from 1 conference is obnoxious. I love how the NCAA tells the little teams they should have won their conference to get in, so they have no right to complain, yet they invite what, 60% of another conference? The Big East in basketball is what the SEC is in football. A good conference, probably the best in the nation, but not nearly as good as everyone would have you believe. Those 2 conferences operate under the incorrect assumption that "every single team we have is great, so losing conference games meant you just lost to another great team." In fact, those guys have some great top end teams, decent middle teams, and bad low end teams. Not too different from most other conferences. Due to the sheer number of teams and the brackets, the big east was guaranteed at least 2 teams in the sweet 16, and thats all they got in. Only because they played each other. But i guess college basketball would be better if we just said Ohio St was going to play Kansas for the national title and everyone else can go home. Then we wouldn't have to worry about "lesser" teams like Butler, VCU, and Richmond making a run and "spoiling" the championship.
  19. There you go again, PARROTING other websites. BAWK!
  20. I thought the bigger treason was when the Bills cut those 2 worthless scrubs, King and Geisinger, who are both probably out of the league.
  21. So all of a sudden a player tweeting means he's hitting up the clubs every night and not studying the playbook? Thats just as moronic as saying that the president golfing or going on vacation means he's not keeping up with world affairs or paying attention to the country, etc.
  22. Richmond has as many teams in the sweet 16 as the Big Least. Over-rated! Clap! clap! clap-clap-clap!
  23. Forgot for a second you were a ND fan. FSU's defense didn't surprise me, and i knew we'd match up pretty good against you guys. It was the offense and the knocking down 3's that was a bit surprising. I figured we'd eek out a win, not dominate the way we did. You could definitely see the frustration on ND's faces when they weren't getting any open looks and couldn't knock anything down. Imagine how Kansas feels, now that in their bracket they have a 10, 11, and 12 seed with them in the sweet 16.
  24. This argument is akin to saying that a player's twittering somehow detracts from their play on the field or film study, etc. Its a moronic argument, no matter who is in office.
  25. The tenths of a second thing is obnoxious. The lag time from when the official blows the whistle to when the clock stops is part of the game. Not to mention i think its physically impossible to catch and shoot in under a second. So why bother timing to that level? (Unless you are derek fisher and the lakers). Use the tenths to make sure the shot was taken before the buzzer and thats it. Also, if your team is down by 15 points with less than 3 minutes to go, stop fouling. You aren't coming back. LETS GO NOLES!!! FSU was lookin real good this weekend, and it was great to see them smash that punk ben hansbrough. He's got a face you just wanna punch.
