Q: with Tags retiring in july, will you try to have as much input as possible in selecting the new commish, so he isnt a candidate of the big market guys?
Ralph: Look at who is on the committee, that will tell you what kind of commish will be chosen.
Jones, Snyder, Kraft, etc, all the new owners dont have the same sense of "league" that the old guard does. New owners are looking out for themselves first, NOT the league.
said he didnt fully understand the new CBA, so wanted to call in the Bills financial advisors. They were given 15 mins to read it over before the vote was called.
says the league doesnt even understand everything about the CBA, and that the league isnt sure what the qualifiers for getting shared revenue are.
Said one reason he didnt like the CBA was because it included money that the county gives the Bills for stadium upkeep (3 mil per year) as total football revnue.
Ralph basically said since we use that 3 mil to pay for stadium upkeep each year, it shouldnt be counted as revenue.
Agreed. I checked the link, and it says comcast carries nfl network and that i have nothing to worry about. What they dont tell you is that NFL network is only available on their digital cable package, so i hafta spend $60-70 a month on digital cable just to see the NFL network games.
I dont hate comcast as much as i hate the NFL for doing this. Its their fault for takign the NFL off of network TV.
Thats not what i was saying. If you have sat TV and beam the signal into my house from yours, where i can pick it up, its illegal for me to watch your signal?
Again, as Fez and I have said numerous times, its not about the morality of the topic, just the legality.
I was wondering what happend to 2 characters who were on the show last season and some this year. I dont know if anyone will remember them, i think they had small roles and didnt add much to the storyline.
their names were MICHAEL and WALT.
i do like the 2 home games right around x-mas. that means i'll be able to come to a game when i am home for the holidays.
Of course, i hafta come bakc in for a wedding on oct 7th, and we are in chicago the 8th.
Hymes intrigues me. Hes a big target, 6'3, 211, 27 years old, and has put up a few decent games in baltimore. (A few in '04), 05 was kinda iffy. might be worth a shot. Of the list, i'd say hes got the most upside.

Heres a column about the 3 USC o-linemen. Its mentioned that Deuce Lutui could sneak into the later stages of the first round, but is probably a second round pick.
I cant see a possible 1st rounder/solid 2nd rounder that has gotten a lot of good press falling as far as the beginning of the 3rd round for us. One can hope, but i'm guessing he'll be long gone by the time we pick in round 3.
