  1. i know crowell is as well as the above stated Evans option.
  2. definitely #1. we had this situation come up this weekend while watching the draft at the bar. My buddy is sittin next to his girl, and he lifts his leg directly at her and just lets go. His logic was that he wasnt going to fart on the other patrons in the bar. We all agreed with him.
  3. No, provided we dont let them off the hook.
  4. Lets see... 2006 Troy football schedule... FSU, Ga Tech, Nebraska 2007 Troy football schedule... Arkansas, Florida, Okla. St., Georgia yup, so much for your asinine "weaker competition" theory.
  5. good post, and i agree completely. IMO, a team can expect a starter out of rounds 1 and 2. Anything after that will see time, but i dont think it is reasonable to expect a 3rd rounder to start, unless your team is a mess and you are starting over (atlanta, miami, kc, etc). I find it funny that everyone was screaming for best player available before the draft, thats exactly what the Bills did today, but now a lot around these parts think the draft was garbage. I think BPA needs to be redefined into the TBD definition "best OL/DL available." Many here would rather see a 6th round graded OL taken in round 4 over another player with a 3rd or 4th round grade.
  6. bull sh--. the pats* tried to be cute by trading down and getting an extra pick, and ended up getting their dick caught in the zipper when cincy took Rivers. I'm not saying Mayo wont be good, because i liked the kid and i think he'll end up doing well. but dont for a minute pretend that missing rivers was all part of their* plan.
  7. I'm guessing that most drafts fall off after the first 3-4 rounds. You have the top 100 players, who go rounds 1-3. There may be 50 or so more players that teams think are NFL caliber. that takes you through round 4 and some of 5. To me, after that top 150, theres no difference in the next 150-200 players. That means theres no difference between your average 5th rounder and a UDFA. All of them should be considered projects whom you hope might someday develop into something.
  8. a little advice junior...when the only people agreeing with your moronic opinion have all registered within the past 48 hours, that ISN'T a good thing.
  9. No. the actual real football discussion about the draft goes on in PM's. because anytime you try to discuss a pick on here this weekend, 30 retards such as yourself flood and spam the thread with 65 posts about how the draft sucks, the front office is idiots, etc. When the draft is over and you crawl back into your hole, then we'll be able to discuss the draft.
  10. Looks like some broken sarcasm detectors. I am hoping they will snag a OC in round 7. justice is still on the board.
  11. This draft pick is a disaster.
  12. This has been your best post of the weekend. more like this one please.
  13. I dont care where any "experts" had them ranked. Here we are in round 5, and i see a good number of "projected" 2nd and 3rd rounders still on the draft board. Thsi tells me that the experts really have no clue what they are talking about. And if they can overrate players by 3-4 rounds, then can underrate them by that much as well. i'll stop with the puns when posters stop with the "we didnt draft position X, so we are going to suck" posts.
  14. Can someone please explain to me when a 4th round pick all of a sudden became a "high" draft pick?
  15. i get it. you read billy joe's mock draft he published from mom's basement, and obviously, they know than the Bills. we need ot take players you've heard of, because, well, you've heard of him.
  16. And who decided this? i know, you read Billy Joe's draft website that he publishes from mom's basement, and that should have been the official draft list of the bills. But, i am guessing that the NFL front office guys might know a bit more than the average schmuck who publishes a mock draft.
  17. 2 things... 1. Mike Mayock really liked both the McKelvin and Corner pick 2. now i know this wont compute with most of you, but it IS possible that the next hghest OL on the Bills draft chart was rated 150 or so, so they felt there was no need to reach just so they can say they took an OL.
  18. Nah, its much more fun watching you freak out and meltdown. I've got no problem with you not liking the McKelvin pick, but at least come up with some concrete reasons about his game that you dont like. calling the pick a disaster just because we picked position X is asinine. As for the ellis pick, i love it. gives us a nice solid rotation at DE, and he;s got some real size. i hope he's starting in a year or 2.
  19. I like the pick. strengthens the line, and hopefully, a starter in a year or 2. not to mention he brings some more needed size to the DE spot.
  20. Are you trying to embarrass yourself as much as possible over this weekend? Because you are doing a hell of a good job acting like a 14 year old girl.
  21. Wow, you sure nailed that pick.
  22. Someone else mentioned this and it seemed to be the case. ESPN still planned their draft coverage as if there were 15 minutes per pick, and really couldnt adjust to the shorter time.
  23. Larry tripplett signed a 5 yr 18 million contract. Please explain how that equals 5 million per year. I'm not saying that tripplett wasnt garbage and a bust, because he was, but no need to make things up.
  24. hmm. i didnt know dick jauron was the sole decision maker in the draft room. And i thought, according to you, that it was Marv making all the choices picking CBs.
