  1. I'm with the rest of the guys on having fun, and then getting the "entertainment" later on. I was best man in my buddy's wedding a few years ago, and we had the bachelor party with some of his family and relatives, and had a good time. then a select few of us went to canada for the evening and it was a blast. And think about it this way...$500 is going to go a hell of a lot farther at a gentleman's establishment than it is paying for a stripper for an hour.
  2. we've been asking obi-tard that since draft weekend, and he still has yet to answer. As for peters, pay the man.
  3. It is that easy eball. You just pick up the phone, punch in your super secret trade down pin number, and voila, you have 2 more 1sts, 3 seconds, and a third for moving down 4 spots.
  4. nah, it'll be much more satisfying bumping the thread(s) where you made an ass out of yourself at the end of the season when hardy is not involved in a gun crime or suspended.
  5. there ya go sketch. i made your post canadian-friendly so they could properly understand it.
  6. i know...death, taxes, and bill whining about DBs.
  7. So basically, we can all agree that canadians are ok, and polacks are ok (i myself am 1/2 polack), its just the canadian polacks that cause the problems.
  8. if you dislodge your head form your rectum, you'll see that it was only 2 million more guaranteed money, which is the only thing that matters. take into account that salaries increase each year, and Ryan's deal isnt too out of line. The total amount is a bit high, but not the guaranteed money.
  9. The correct way to build a football team is to get players where you have major holes. We had a major at safety in 2006 and filled it. In 2007 and 2008 we stocked both lines via free agency and trades. Also in 2008, we had a huge need at CB, and had the best CB on the board fall to us at 11. As for the 4th round picks, who cares? its a 4th rounder. Flip a coin. Heads and the player isnt even on the team anymore within 3 years. That is true for all positions, not just DBs. But i'd guess you'd rather have a duke preston instead of a starting FS.
  10. more likely, he's in the corner of his dorm room rocking and sucking his thumb while staring at the TSW login screen.
  11. What comment would that be? Funny how you leave out the fact that roughly 1/2 the teams in the league have selected a 1st round safety in the past 7-8 years. You DO realize that the horse is long gone and you are beating bare ground, dont you?
  12. I agree that an uncapped year is no good for anyone involved. If the league actually gets to the point where we have an uncapped year, i think the salary cap is gone for good. Thats why i think the uncapped year is more of a threat or deadline to get things going. But you are right in that the uncapped year itself isnt the problem, the problem is what happens to the NFL in 2011 and beyond after we hit the uncapped year.
  13. wow, this is a milestone for you. a post without whining like a pre-pubescent girl about the OL. Congrats. Now get to work on your next big milestone. Potty training.
  14. perhaps you missed this. Or maybe you read it and didnt understand it. I'll look for a canadian translation service and then maybe you'll get what Hardy said.
  15. Nice try, but wrong. There are so many limits on both the players and the teams that the uncapped year was justed as a threat to force the 2 sides to the negotiating table. There are limits on the number of free agents playoff teams can sign, each team gets more tags, players cant become free agents until after 6 years instead of 4. An uncapped year would actually limit the amoutn of player movement we'd see.
  16. If you look at the guaranteed money (the only number that really matters on current contracts), he only got 2 mil more than Jamarcus Russell did. I dont think the contract is that out of whack, seeing how he is a QB and theres not much difference between #1 and #3.
  17. dont forget me too! [/dwight drane]
  18. with any luck, greer will quickly be demoted to the nickel spot where he's better suited.
  19. I see you started back into the business of making sh-- up with nothing to support it again.
  20. thanks. nice recap. Fitz is getting 10 mil per, berrian 7 mil per, and moss 9 mil per. I say offer him 5 yrs 43 mil, with 22 guaranteed.
  21. he's gotta change that. every time i see a steely dan post, i think its one of yours, sketch.
  22. That one is gonna keep a bunch of them up at night trying to figure it out.
  23. I was watching the replay of the game on the NFL network, and i had a question. On the first play where Moulds catches the bomb, and then terrell buckley forces the fumble, they both go to the ground, and buckley hangs onto Moulds collar and prevents him from going after the loose ball. Is that legal? I know you are allowed to block someone and fall on them, but Buckley deliberately (and smartly?) hung on to moulds' collar so he couldnt try and recover the ball. Thanks in advance.
  24. And even if he did, so what? he's out there on the line so your dumb ass can spout out whatever mongoloid crap that you usually do on here.
  25. sure, you try to make jokes and be funny, but its not going to be funny when JP and Lee split the locker room. so go ahead and laugh it up, but i dont think you'll be laughing when we are 2-8 and the team is arguing and fighting like it was 2005. Wait until Trent throws a couple of TDs to Hardy, and watch Lee and JP absolutely blow up.
