  1. Aw man, I'm really sorry JB. There are few things more painful in life than the loss of a furry friend.
  2. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/13/man-calls-police-to-complain-about-prostitutes-looks_n_3435832.html
  3. Love it! Thanks for posting this. The culture shift that Klinsmann can bring about is the biggest reason why I wanted him coaching here. There's just no reason why we can't be competitive at the international level, but it's gotta start with the younger kids. I was watching Mexico play the other night and seeing guys like Dos Santos and Hernandez was inspiring. Two young, impressive players who were on their U-20 team, now starting for their national team and playing in the Premiership and La Liga, respectively.
  4. Couldn't get any worse than this last installment. I was laughing as I was watching it, cause there were these subtle references to the original Die Hard, almost as if the producers were saying, "Yeah, we know this movie sucks, but hey, remember how good the first one was?" One of the most disappointing films for me in a long time.
  5. When I drove from Rochester to Chicago, I hit 130mph in my '90 Eagle Talon AWD Turbo when I was driving across Indiana. It was an open stretch of highway, straight, where you could see for miles ahead.
  6. It definitely looks bad...really bad. The more I think about this backpedaling they're doing, the more it bothers me. Not that I'm going to rush out and get either console, as I'm not much of a gamer anyway, I'm just really surprised at how this has been handled. I just would expect a company like Microsoft to be a bit smarter than this.
  7. I enjoyed the Tuel interview...sounds like he'll be a great project for us to develop. How cool would it be to take BP with a pro team? I'd LOVE to do that.
  8. He was a huge part of the problem...no question about it. Mike Nolan is the perfect example of how much more you can get out of the same talent when you actually COORDINATE instead of just playing vanilla D and picking ur butt all game. Atlanta's D went from a weakness to a strength over the course of one offseason. Basically the same talent, maybe even less talent, but a huge upgrade in terms of the brains behind the operation. Pettine's gonna bring the brains for us this season.
  9. So wait a minute...are you saying that we all had to suffer just so Gringo could have his little moment of glory?
  10. Wow, that's a shame...definitely one of my favorite actors. RIP big guy
  11. This whole thing is kinda strange. Certainly somone at MS must have had SOME inkling that the gaming community would react negatively to some of this.
  12. Based on his reported asking price, Byrd is clearly the most overrated.
  13. Being an early adopter doesn't bother me as much anymore since it's so easy to update the firmware as they work out the bugs. If I had to take/send the unit somewhere that would be a different story. But to just plug an ethernet cable in and let it do its business isn't a problem at all.
  14. "We-are-go-ing-to-BRA-zilllllllll" U-S-A!! U-S-A!!! Looking forward to another complete team victory tonight.
  15. I wish there was a way to figure out how many hours of enjoyment I got out of that damn thing...I still remember the day I got Space Invaders. First time I flipped the score I tried so hard to convey the importance of this milestone to my parents, but they weren't impressed lol.
  16. So just out of curiosity, which console did each of you guys grow up on?
  17. I really wish everyone could experience that...it's funny, cause when I talk about this to people that have never done it, they think it's interesting but they just dont' really get it cause it's impossible to convey the experience in words. But those of us who have seen this amazing creatures up close remember it forever...pretty amazing!
  18. Brilliant!! I've changed the title in honor of doogie...thanks, Jack!
  19. What exactly would we have been distracted from? Mediocrity? Preparing for the 9th pick in the 2014 draft? I want as much Bills programming as I can get. I wanted it to be the Bills, too. I don't understand why you guys didn't.
  20. CGF has the dads covered, so I wanted to also pay tribute to those of us who are sans-offspring. Happy Not-a-Father's Day Gents!
  21. Wow, bark!!! More, more, more!!!!!!
  22. Yep, I know exactly what you mean. Its so much easier for those of us with busy schedules to just swing by a drive in and grab something. When I was working 12hr overnight shifts in the hospital, I was routinely hitting steak n shake when I got off work. Everyone else was wanting breakfast, but it was dinner time for me. My legs were aching, I was mentally exhausted, and the idea of going home and cooking something was not a very appealing option. I could grab a burger and some onion rings at 7am, so that's what I did. Got up a little late for the night shift? No problem..swing by McDonalds on the way to the hospital....problem solved. I can totally understand where you're coming from.
  23. Wow, a documentary on Morton Downey, Jr? Count me in for that...I saw him live in Rochester back in the late 80s...that guy was entertaining as hell Vader: Yep, I definitely want to check out the Rock in that new GI Joe flick. I almost went to the theater to see it, but seemed like the reviews were poor, so it was relegated to a rental. I'm looking forward to Snitch, though....I'll let you know how it is.
  24. I was pretty stoked for the last one with B.Routh, especially since Kevin Spacey was in it, but it left me really flat. If that happens again with this one, I'll really be surprised. I've liked most of what Nolan and the other guy have done in the past, so I'm still optimistic that it will entertain me. The one consistent bit of praise I've heard is for Michael Shannon, so I can't wait to see what he does with the Zod character. I think tonight I'm going to watch "Snitch" with the Rock. This guy is really on a roll lately. Snitch got pretty good reviews, Pain and Gain (I think that's what it's called) seems to also be pretty well received. The new FAst and Furious film has solid reviews, and then he's also got his new tv show that I saw last week called "The Hero". This guy has really become a major commodity. They're really making another one? I was so turned off by the first one...I don't know who wrote that, but I don't recall laughing once. With that cast, I don't see how in the world they could make an unfunny movie. I'm usually a fan of all those guys and I've seen pretty much every film they've been in, alone or together.
