  1. Nick Saban is not only the most overrated coach in the game, he's the biggest flake. I'm glad we spanked his sorry asss this year....twice.
  2. Flutie couldn't even carry the starting job, my friend. *Grudge still in effect*
  3. we took a banged up team into the house of arguably the best team in the NFL, and we had them beat. RJ took pounding after pounding, but kept getting up and making plays. There's no way in hell Flutie would have won that game.
  4. I'm going to hold a grudge against you for hacking on RJ's performance in the Homerun Throwback game. As much of a bust as he was, I'll always defend his performance that day. He showed more heart and balls during those 60 mins than Flutie ever did. As painful as the game ended up, I was proud to be a Bills fan that day. I'll let you know how long the grudge lasts.
  5. I'm glad to hear that they're going to continue to focus on the defense....I would love to see us dominant on that side of the ball again. As for our offense, if we can just find a stud guard or two, I think we may actually be okay over there. JP and the boys were really starting to put up some numbers. It's been a while since we've been this close to becoming a good, solid football team. I hope Marv and Co. get it done.
  6. I didn't see the game, but this is the perfect example of why I hate the BCS....it kills the underdog. Sure, maybe it would only happen once in a while, but with a tourney you at least give the underdog a chance to be great. "Any Given Day" doesn't exist for a lot of teams in college football, and the sport is worse off because of it, IMO.
  7. I didn't think much of that article until I got to the part about what the witnesses actually said. That sorta freaked me out
  8. What a great shot!
  9. "I was hoping for a little more 'girl on girl' action"
  10. I would tend to agree....but it also seems like he's grading them out with all things considered, as opposed to absolute terms. For example, if someone like Whitner had the same performance three years from now, he'd grade out lower because he wouldn't have the 'rookie' status to keep in mind. I think we tend to forget how much youth and/or 'newness' was on our defense this year. I think given the circumstances, I can agree with the grades he gave. My only point of contention was when he said, "McCargo will continue to get better".....better than what?? lol He's been injured pretty much all year
  11. I'm more convinced than ever that if a team is truly committed to beating the Colts, they can get it done....I don't care what team we're talking about. I think they'll be lucky to get by KC next week. I think the Ravens or the Bolts will take it all, with my preference being the Ravens.
  12. Happy New Year Scott, all!
  13. How much of that had to do with the fact that Willis couldn't get anything going on the ground? I wasn't able to see the game, I'm just looking over the stats. Looks like JP was our only source of offense?
  14. What I want to know is how you give up almost FORTY points to the friggin Lions in your house....that's ridiculous.
  15. Wow, that image of Saturn with Earth in the distance is one of the most amazing images I've ever seen....that is truly amazing!
  16. What woman are you talking about? That's a MAN, BABY!
  17. I agree. I felt a little let down by it, mainly cause there have been some pretty good superhero films as of late. I hope this one is a little better.
  18. I get a little defensive over Rocky movies, I guess
  19. I guess what I'm wondering is why did you even go to see it to begin with? Though I haven't seen it yet, the earlier films - particularly the first and second - were mostly character driven. I doubt you "sat there for an hour and a half watching 'the man'" with those films and then said, "hey, I hated those two, so why not go and see Rocky VI!" It's not like Stallone all of a sudden just NOW started developing the character. Do you really think a film that DIDN'T have character development could have won an academy award back in the day? I guess the bottom line is that you pretty much know what you're getting with Rocky films by this point, don't you? Why even go see it if that's not what you enjoy?
  20. Being a kid and hitting the living sh-- out of a ball is a great feeling
  21. JP has done a great job at keeping Nall on the pine, but I'd like to see him get a start, too. It would just be nice to see what the guy can do. Last thing we need is for JP (or another of our star players) to tear an ACL or something and end up missing a large chunk of next season. I say BRING ON THE SCRUBS!
