I thought the episode where....dang it, I always forget his name....Magnus or whatever....the pretty boy guy. Anyway, the one where he gets stuck between 1996 and 2004 where his girlfriend Penny has to serve as a "constant" for him. I usually like time travel stuff, and I thought this episode was pretty well done. I'm glad the black smoke plays a big role at some point, cause that's the only part of the show I thought was really goofy thus far. I just realized that S4 only has like 14 episodes, so this won't take me too long....then it's on to S5!

Season FOUR?? Dang,man....I thought I was keeping up but I guess not lol. I'm four episodes into S4.

You're a tougher critic than I am, lol. I think I like the show best when there's all sorts of stuff going on at the same time....gets my adrenaline going. I also love the EMP thing, cause, as you pointed out, the most lame story line of the season is taking place inside CTU (for the most part), and I just assume Jack be out there kicking asss old school style. And I agree about Jack and Cole fighting together....you have to assume Freddie Prinze Jr signed up for more than to just hang out in the background and make grunt faces with his eyebrows all season....bout time the guy did something cool.

They won't last long regardless...as adorable as Jordo is, she's a total airhead...and Jeff isn't all that much brighter. They do crack me up, though.

Okay, I'm back into the show after tonight's episode. I thought that was the best one of the season. Time for Jack to kick some asss!!!

I thought for sure Jeff and Jordo were goners....they were lucky that morse code knocked out Joe and his wife. I would love to be on this show!

He seems like a pretty interesting dude...should make for an interesting season! Can you guys believe that Cyndi Lauper is friggin 56??? She looks pretty good, if you ask me. I don't know who that Victoria's Secret model is, but WOW is she ever pretty! Trump was in rare form tonight....dropping F bombs and getting bleeped right and left lol.

Yep, I just finished that episode. I've been holed up with a GI bug, so have been able to do some damage on Season 3. If I were Jack, I would have severely kicked Locke's arse after that most recent explosion (won't give it away in case others haven't seen it yet). That flashback scene with Sayeed (sp?) and the restaurant owner (and particularly his wife) was intense! Not sure how I feel about this black smog stuff, but I'm remaining open minded

I'll definitely check it out, too. I think I'm one of the few left who really like this show, lol. Trump cracks me up, and some of these D listers can really stir it up. I was loving the Annie Duke/Melissa Rivers/Joan Rivers thing last year...good times! I have always had the hots for Summer Sanders....I'll watch just for her

That's kind of how I was feeling until these last couple of episodes. I liked the whole "sniper" angle they had going in the beginning, but that came to a quick end. After that, I was bored to tears. Two weeks ago the show kept my attention, and last week continued it. I hope things get back to form, cause this is clearly the worst season.

If Avatar would have won best pic, I would have vomited...and I actually enjoyed the film. I know what you're saying about Hurt Locker....I wasn't blown away by it either, but I don't know of anything else this year that I felt was more deserving. Hell, I'm still upset about friggin' Shakespear in Love beating out Saving Private Ryan and Life is Beautiful....but anyway, I agree...the group of nominees was good, but not stellar by any means.

Ugh....well, I'm glad you warned me, cause as long as the latter half of the season is good, I'll have something to look forward to I'm still really appreciating the way they weave in all the flashbacks and such, so that you gain different perspective on each character at different times. Really interesting!

Not a bad show tonight....and I definitely agree about the Hughes tribute. Sad to see the guy go at such a young age The only thing I cared about tonight was the best supporting actor Oscar going to its rightful recipient, and it did in fact find its way to the hands of the great Christoph Waltz. One of the best performances on film of all-time, IMO....it should have been a no-brainer, and it was. Hans Landa came alive in that film, and his portrayal will stick with me for many years to come. Congratulations, Christoph! Also congrats to K.Bigelow....what an awesome film that was!
