lol, statistically speaking, I'm "due" for a fire....last I heard, the avg person (or may have been household or family....dunno) experiences TWO fires in their lifetime....I'm not sure I've really had number one yet

Beer batter....didn't even think of that! Nice I'm gonna use that for some onion rings! What I really want to do is fry up some chicken strips and then toss them in some Franks buffalo sauce. Most "boneless wings" taste like asss cause all they do is use SEASONED nuggets or strips and throw sauce on them. The seasoning in them doesn't mix well with the buffalo sauce. I had one place that made their own and they were *amazing*. So I want to do the same at home. Do you think the beer batter would work well with that, too, or should I go with a regular batter?

When I was married, we had one of these things but I only used it a couple times. I remember how awesome Farm Rich cheesesticks came out in the thing, though, so I figured this was a good time to get one for myself. I want to have some good stuff to eat on Draft Thursday, so was hoping you guys could chime in with suggestions. Nothing too hard to prepare, cause I'm a Fry Daddy novice...but all suggestions welcome and appreciated! PS. What is the best way to batter chicken and/or fish? Flour and egg? Corn meal?

I loved having Maddux here, but it just doesn't compare to Murphy. Dale Murphy was on par with Jim Kelly for me. I wanted to see every play, every at bat, every pass, every HR of those guys....I tuned into TBS as a kid every single night, and when there wasn't a Braves game on it was a huge let down. Just like how if I couldn't see Kelly and the Bills every Sunday, it sucked big time. Heyward already has me wanting to see what he does every time he comes to the plate, and it's been a while since I've felt that way. I don't know if anyone will ever be The Murph to me again, but this guy has me wanting to watch much more intently than I have been for a long time.

Good point....I hope the guy becomes that next big star....he's off to a great start!

I saw Mallet play a few times down here in SEC land, and I've never been all that impressed. The guy doesn't seem to have the leadership intangibles that allow you to have confidence that he's going to take the team on his shoulders and lead you to a win. I had the same issue with Matt Stafford. Nice arm, smart kid, but not clutch. I'd rather wait a few years and draft Gale Gilbert'skid....now that kid had some swagger!!
