  1. It's awesome man...saw it this past weekend. Let me know what you think
  2. Hey man....have you seen 127 hrs?
  3. :censored: :wallbash: RUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSELLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! COME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  4. Totally agree, Figster...this was the first time in a LONG time where I was disappointed when the show was over. A couple of them weren't up to par, but nobody stunk it up tonight. You hit it on the head when you said how diverse this group is...I love that we have hip hop, rock, R&B, alternative, country (well okay, maybe not country lol), etc all represented here. I also love the pace of the show tonight. When I heard that Nigel hadn't been around the last two seasons, it made perfect sense to me. Nigel Lythgoe is a very smart man and the show really missed his influence and direction. The show moves along, the background pieces are interesting and not stale, the judges comments aren't predictable...just a much, much better product this year. Casey Abrams is really growing on me. I don't think the guy has a great voice, but he's a showman. I loved his Joe Cocker song tonight. James Durbin took one of my all-time favorite songs and killed it...SO thankful this kid knows how to listen to criticism and apply it. He's doing a great job of avoiding being Adam Lambert II and becoming the first James Durbin. Pia Toscano sang another one of my all-time favorites and did great...I still don't know where this voice of hers came from. Randy was dead on correct when he said Thia sounded great the first half and sort of lost us in the second...I wish she would have carried out the song in the same manner from start to finish. Stefano started off a bit shaky but really brought it by the end. My early favorite to win it, Lauren, was off...Karen was off...Ashton was off....and Scotty just doesn't do anything for me at all. That brings us to Jacob Lusk...this guy honestly gets more feminine every week, but he's DAMN talented and I love the passion in his performances. I like this kid a lot. I liked Haley better than the judges did. And last but not least, my girl Naima. I agree with Fig about this chick...she was AWESOME. She looked like a legit star up there and I love the way she takes over the stage. I think it's funny that they don't show her husband much, probably because he's a hard-lookin' brotha, but hopefully they'll get over it at some point. I do think she needs to just go with Naima, though, and drop the last name. All in all, easily the best "first" show of the season for me...I was very entertained and I'm looking forward to seeing some of these kids grow into marketable performers My bottom 3 prediction: Haley, Ashton, and Karen.
  5. Nah, probably not. You may want to watch 4 if you haven't seen it, but 2 and 3 you can do without unless you just want to watch them because you enjoy the franchise...such as moi
  6. That's why I have fallen in love with SEC football. There are powerhouse programs scattered all around the country, but the SEC is easily the most competitive AND strongest conference in college ball. Both the east and west divisions are competitive, and a large proportion of the nations best players can be found here. I feel like I got dropped into football mecca and went from being a very casual observer of the game to an honest to goodness FAN of college football. I only wish that Lane Kiffin would have stayed at Tennessee...the way he was talking crap was really entertaining to me. I was loving when he was calling out Urban Meyer and damn near beating Florida with a far less talented squad. Hell, I even paid attention to the draft classes this season, which was a first. I already know like ten of the incoming freshman for the 'dawgs next season...that was unfathomable for me before I moved down here to Atlanta. As for the NFL, I am a bit more tolerant of their greed since on any given day you can go from an all-star to a cripple in the blink of an eye. These guys' bodies truly take a pounding, and I think they deserve what they are paid. I don't agree with rooks getting to break the bank before even playing a single down, but I think the vets deserve what they get. That being said, they need to get this CBA done and overwith so that we can get back to football.
  7. What about the "Thelma and Louse" jump at the end of the trailer? That was AWESOME MAN!!!
  8. As much as I would never NOT have pets, when their time comes to an end sometimes it can make you feel it's something you'll never do again....just too hard. Ugh...
  9. Hellz YES!!!
  10. I'm in the same boat..my little guy is going to be 16 in July...I'm gonna be a mess when the time comes
  11. I know it didn't seem to agree with my dog (one of them), but seems like a lot of people use that brand.
  12. Yeah, especially when you write a book or whatever he did about how awesome of a father and husband he was and how he'd never do what his own father did to him and his brother...or something like that....the guy is a major douche. I'm glad there is no SB ring on his finger.
  13. Probably everyone in that support group likes "glazed"
  14. Joe, I've had my Samsung LCD for five years and still looks as good today as it did when I bought it. Samsung makes the panels for several other manufacturers, including Sony (at least they did back when I was doing my research...this may have changed over the last few years I have no idea). If I were to buy another LCD display today, it would be a Samsung without question.
  15. That guy should finally be about ready to solidify the RT spot, or at least provide some solid depth.
  16. haha, that's a great story
  17. Might as well bring in Parcells while we're at it
  18. I tell you what, they must put some nasty ass crap in some of those more popular store brands of dog food, cause I am truly shocked at the difference. I'm really glad you mentioned the brand you use, cause I wasn't sure if there were other foods out there that were formulated this way. I've got no problem spending an extra $25-50/mo on my dogs if it's somethign that will really help them (and me). I won't be going back to the other stuff any time soon!
  19. Haven't you heard? White people like to fudge numbers.
  20. Cool, another option! Looks like Amazon carries your stuff, too
  21. or maybe....just maybe... ...it was ME!!! MUAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!
  22. Sometimes I wonder the same thing...
  23. LOL,gotta love dogs and their pooping issues...well, except for Chef Jim who just GETS RID OF THEM!!!! My dogs self-regulate their own dry food intake, so I'll have to pay more attention to whether I'm going through more, less, or the same amt of food. There are some really good consumer write-ups at amazon.com for this food too, and I think some of them did speak to the issue of consumption. Also, I definitely would suggest going with the standard poodle. My family has raised them since I was a kid and they are great dogs. The "foo-foo" rep that poodles have gotten over the years has come from the little yippie ones and the folks who breed all types of poodles to look ridiculous. My dog is very friendly, but most people are very intimidated by him at first. They typically stand very tall and because of their coat (which, as you pointed out, doesn't shed) they look to be bigger than they are. They're very athletic, protective, smart, intuitive, loyal, and they TYPICALLY get along well with other dogs and animals. holy crap!! lol
  24. Excellent video...this is perfect evidence that Esteban has become so enlightened that he literally has guitar picks sprouting from the fingertips of his right hand! ESTEBAN IS THE CHOSEN ONE!!!
  25. Pretty sure, cause the problem persisted even after Lana left.
