I don't know what to make of that list, but I know that I would love to pick up a new VW GTi...

(lol) I really WANT to love it...it just feels rushed for some reason, even over a two hour period of time. I felt like James did, that the supernatural stuff was too soon. I'm probably going to keep watching, maybe they just wanted to throw a bunch of creepy stuff out there early to get peoples attention...which is fine, as long as they don't miss the forest for the trees. One thing I'm still perplexed over...

I'm not really sure what to make of this show...I feel like it's trying too hard. I even gave it the "home theater" treatment to give it as much a chance to impress as possible, but I'm not sure that really was enough. What did you guys think?

Douche isn't the right word. Tom is like the brilliant surgeon with the poor bedside manner. He may consider you to be an idiot and not worthy of conversation, but that doesn't mean you're not fortunate to have him around

Boston Globe Has its Own Jerry Sullivan . . . Eric Wilbur

lol, true...I wish there was a way to give them a glimpse of their alternate reality so they can see how such a stupid idea would pan out... -

I've said this many times, but people honestly have no idea just how much damage a nurse could do with even a small slip-up. Without question, that is the main reason why I have as successful track record as I do, because it's a responsibility I've taken seriously since day one. I wish I could say that all of my colleagues took the same approach, but unfortunately many of them have become desensitized to their responsibility. You go into cardiopulmonary arrest when I'm walking by the room, your odds of a having a successful outcome from the code are better than the norm. You go bad when some of the others walk by and you could very easily be casually ignored out of fear they may have to act. I've seen it happen and it's very, very scary. But anyway, SEE THIS MOVIE!!! The King is dead...long live the KING!! -
I probably wouldn't have even given this movie a chance if I hadn't seen "District B-13" a few years ago. It became one of my all-time favorite action films. I have to give the French credit, cause not only have they given me another entertaining film to watch, but they have created a new genre that is LONG overdue...the MALE NURSE WHOOPIN' SOME ASSSSS!!!!! If anyone is interested in a fast-paced, action-packed film about a male nurse who has just been pushed TOO DAMN FAR, then this is your movie!!! Point Blank Gaylord Focker ain't got NOTHING on Samuel Pierret!!!

February Movies: Safe House, Journey 2, Woman in Black and....

I don't care what George calls them, I just hope he never gets mad and doesn't use the lube. -
He fired Paula's asss too

Survivor and AR start this month, yes? I tell you the other show I think will be a blast this season, and that's Trump. He's got potentially the best cast ever, and I can already see it being a total riot. I have always enjoyed the show in general, but this year could really be a lot of fun dude, there have only been a few movies that I've ever felt like I needed to just sit still and recover from it after it was over, and these paranormal activity films are on the list. I have ptIII sitting in my mailbox as we speak, so I'm going to check it out this weekend. There's nothign like watching it on a big projector screen with a great sound system...makes it all the more intense! As for The River, I'm with ya...I hope it's something I can get into, as well. I like the potential!

I'll probably hit up star wars not just cause I'm a SW nerd, but also to get a little taste of nostalgia from 1999...easily one of the best years of my life. Any word on how the conversion looks? Since the film was shot digitally, does that lend itself to better 3D effects? -
Good point. It does seem like it's more of a closed-ended set up than an open one. Hopefully if it's a hit, they won't sacrifice quality in exchange for crapping out a few more episodes. I'm gonna give the premier every chance to catch my attention, then I guess we'll see after that.

Previews didn't get you even just a LITTLE bit curious?

I'm more optimistic now than before, but if see another jackass trying to be a Scotty clone, I'm turning it off! lol I can't take another year of that... Have you noticed that J-Lo seems much more enthusiastic this season? Not sure what's gotten into her, but I see a big difference over last season. And did you see what happened on X-Factor with the firings?? Simon canned my girl Nicole!!!!!!

I don't often watch scripted dramas on television...I can count them on one hand over the past decade. I'm a sports and movies guy with the occasional reality show thrown in for good measure. This looks to at least have some potential, as the people involved make up a very interesting mix. Not everyone likes them, but I'm a big fan of the Paranormal Activity films. There just have not been many films in my 39 years of life that have effectively disturbed me and literally gotten me to jump. I think these folks are very adept at creating a visceral response in the viewer, and that's an element that I love having on board with this show. Here is the show's synopsis as found on www.wikipedia.org: "Famed explorer Dr. Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood) went looking for magic deep in the uncharted Amazon and never returned. The shocking truth about his disappearance is out there, somewhere, just waiting to be discovered. To the millions of kids who grew up watching his nature show, Dr. Cole was a hero. To his own son, Lincoln (Joe Anderson), he was more of an enigma. Now, six months after he vanished, Lincoln is finally ready to bury the past when Dr. Cole's emergency beacon suddenly goes off. At the urging of his mother, Tess (Leslie Hope), Lincoln reluctantly joins her on a search for his father. To fund the rescue, they agree to let Dr. Cole's cagey ex-producer, Clark (Paul Blackthorne), film the mission documentary-style. The mixed crew of old friends and new acquaintances includes the sexy and resourceful Lena (Eloise Mumford), loyal mechanic Emilio (Daniel Zacapa) and lethal bodyguard Captain Kurt Brynildson (Thomas Kretschmann)." Anyone else gonna give this show a chance?

Don't think so...although, I did see a greenish haze in the background for a quick second...was that you?

As crappy as this team has played over the last 11 seasons, over that time we've been represented very well in terms of the Hall of Fame. I would be thrilled if Andre got the call this year...
