  1. I enjoyed the first part of the show last night too, but then it sunk back into the same crap. Like you guys, I've truly had it with the farm. Darabont would never have allowed this to stagnate as it has. The beginning was great, though...that one zombie shoving his face through the broken windshield as the sharp glass sheared off his skin...that was great! I was hoping Shane and blondie would leave the farm like they were planning to do a few episodes back. At least get SOMEONE back out into the mix exploring again. I'm so sick of them just taking turns getting booboos and having Herschel fix them up. They need to just have like 800 zombies come out of the woods and overtake the farm, and then have it burst into flames and all the main characters flee in their vehicles. I don't care how they do it, just GET THE HELL OFF THE FARM!!!
  2. For a million bucks, I'd take one for the team...you can do the eating challenge where we have to eat bugs or some nasty food in a short amt of time
  3. Wow, those sisters blew it...if I were ever on a show like this, I'd be happy just making it through the whole thing without doing something that made me look like an idiot...those sisters failed to accomplish that. I was cool with Brenchel being on the race, but when they showed the preview at the end of tonights episode, I was like, "ohhhh man, here we go with the whining...." I do like having people on these shows that create drama and liven things up, though, so I'm still glad they're here. Was that skydiving footage AMAZING or what?? I have an intense fear of heights, but even I wanted to go jumping out of the plane with them. That looked like a ton of fun. I'm shocked they all did it!
  4. Gotti is really interesting so far...I can't tell if she's a total moron or far more intelligent than I ever realized...it's strange. I wanted more out of Lampinelli, but looks like next week she'll liven up a bit. I had no idea Ferrigno had a hearing problem. And I still can't believe he was 325lb with 2% body fat. That is inhuman! I didn't realize Sulu had been in an internment camp when he was little...makes me like him all the more. Debbie Gibson looks great but she's more annoying than I gave her credit for. I'm glad that a floater got the boot first...I want the roasters to stay around toward the end along with the hot chicks.
  5. Cheryl Tiegs is a bit of an F-tard.
  6. That project manager for the ladies and Ms Universe are both WOWZA! The cast is even better than I thought now that I see who a couple of these people are. I didn't know that chopper guy by name, but he should stir things up for sure. I think we should just go ahead and anoint that red-headed chick the winner...after all, she has the most twitter followers
  7. Whoa, I almost totally forgot about this...I already missed the Survivor premiere this week, dont' want to go 2 for 2
  8. If this is half as good as its potential, I'm gonna enjoy this
  9. Just finished up the season...this is a really odd show but I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It was sort of silly at times, serious at other times, but enjoyable from start to finish. I heard S2 has been given the green light, but SVZ probably won't be available to film until after the Springsteen tour. I would definitely watch another season of this, though.
  10. Yeah I'm pretty sure they made a deal and shook on it with regard to the chicken thing...not 100% sure but that's how I seem to remember it. Agree about the "tit".
  11. So you don't think it's different when there is an agreement in place vs when it's just a free for all? I know the ladies were mad that the guy stole all their stuff, but that's just smart game play, IMO. With the chickens, they brokered an agreement and the girls broke it. Then it came back to bite them in the ass temporarily. I think the only reason the girl gave the idol to the eternal flame was because she had to give it up to the other team...I'm sure she would have preferred to keep it herself if she had been allowed to do so.
  12. I know...usually they finish stuff out...not sure what was up. I like how (so far) the guys are really being firm with the women. They have clearly seen the show before and aren't going to let the gals sweet talk them. Although clearly when they wanted to give the guys a chicken for fire, the price should have been two chickens. The one they already owed them and the one in payment for fire. I just hope the hot girls last longer than the non-hot ones.
  13. The one that shocked me was From here on in, I'm pullin' for the FRAKER, BABY!!! If he gets cut I'm boycotting the rest of the show. We need more FRAKER!! The show has a real dilemma this season...there are some Bessies with big voices. As for the Vegas groups, I honestly thought one of the best groups was the one composed of the kids...all four of them really brought it. I like that Reed guy a lot...the one who played the drums on Wed night. And that duo with the big dude and the skinny dude with the cowboy hat...that was great!! I want the cowboy hat guy gone before the live shows, though. He's too much of a d-bag to become the next Scotty, but I don't want any punks with cowboy hats making the finals this year. That big dude he sang with will be a contender, though...he's got some pipes! American Idol version of Barry White The talent does look better now than it did before, no question...but there's only one true star in the mix, and they call him...the FRAKER!!!!
  14. I totally forgot when this season was starting...thankfully CBS.com is on top of it and I got to watch the premiere online. I have to say, I didn't know if I'd like this whole "one camp" thing, but so far it makes for an interesting dynamic. That's a bummer the one girl busted her wrist, but at the same time it's sort of important to follow directions. That was a fun challenge to watch, so I was bummed that it got cut short...would have rather they just sat out a male contestant to even it up, but oh well. Tribal was fun. Looks like another good season on tap!
  15. Lana loves having her pipes cleaned
  16. She still looks great...you know who else looks great for her age? Catherine Bach, the original Daisy Duke...saw her the other day, and although she's much curvier now she's still very attractive.
  17. I agree...I just finished 3 and I'm definitely in for the duration. It's like this little unassuming town had some terrible wiseguy force just released in their land, and now they have to deal with it...good times
  18. I can't believe the Wolf didn't even make the cut...RIDICULOUS.
  19. My friend, you just stated exactly why I LOVE all the music threads that go down on TBD. I hardly ever turn on the radio anymore, but yet my music collection is growing at a faster rate than ever. Just between this site and the music circle forum over at audiocircle.com, I find so much new stuff to listen to that I can barely even keep up with it. That's funny...I just recommened the Civil Wars to a fellow TBD'er a week or two ago. That's typically not my favorite type of music, but I really connected with the lyrics and their vocals. Exactly right. Deadmau5 gets more time on my iPod than just about anything else these days...the new album is fantastic.
  20. I know a lot of you guys stopped watching the Trumpster quite a while ago, but you have to admit that this line-up of contestants this season has some SERIOUS potential for entertainment. Check this out... Clay Aiken Adam Corolla Arsenio Hall Dee Snyder Lisa Lampinelli Cheryl Tiegs Penn Jillette George Takai Lou Ferrigno Daughter of mobster John Gotti Some feisty chick from Real Housewives of Jersey Debbie Gibson Tia Carerre Couple of other people I don't know To me, I'd watch just for Corolla, Snyder, Jillette, and Lampinelli alone...those four on one show? Then you have Sulu, who is actually very smart and often times outspoken...and then a bunch of hot chicks. What's not to like about this?? The only thing I would have added to this group is Mike Tyson...then it would have been PERFECT Starts next Sunday...who's in?
  21. I thought last night was an encouraging start to the 2nd half of this season...glad to finally see things shaken up a bit.
  22. Episode 2 was actually pretty entertaining. Pretty sure I'm gonna keep watching this...it's nice to see Silvio in action again
  23. Don't expect anything on the level of the Sopranos if you do...so far it had a few laughs, but the acting is pretty weak and the story a little cheesy...but it's funny seeing him in basically the same role as Silvio being stuck out in the middle of nowhere mingling with the locals.
  24. Anyone see this show yet? I saw an ad for it on Netflix and since I (like most everyone else) loved Silvio Dante from The Sopranos, I thought I'd check it out. Here is a trailer in case anyone is interested: LilyHammer It's really an odd concept so far...I just watched episode 1 tonight. It's sort of like a fish out of water Sopranos episode.
