Wow, this guy was apparently a major idiot. Why even keep him on the ship? James T. Kirk would have never put up with that.

I love the contrast between herschel and DAryl in the last episode. You have both guys sort of retreating into themselves, but in different ways. Previously both had others' best interest in mind and they were focused on the needs of the larger group. Now you have Daryl who has become aggressively looking out for number one and even lashing out at the mother of the girl he was looking for, and you have Herschel who had a very deep, profound realization that they are truly without hope. Even in the face of finding out from Rick that he had family back at the farm who was in need of his help, it didn't phase him. Then you have the trigger event of the two outsiders showing up and all of a sudden Herschel is back in the game, but not the same. I really think that these are the two most interesting characters on the show right now, and the way in which their characters are changing offers a telling look at where the group is as a whole. It's been a while since I've seen an episode of this show where I contemplated it in the days after seeing it, so I'm glad that it is seemingly getting it's proverbial sh*t together.

He's very goofy, but I like the kid...he's got some musical chops, he just needs to calm down and focus. I pissed my pants when He-Joon told Seacrest that he was sweating it out...Seacrest goes, "what are you sweating", and He-Joon says, "water mostly" That kid is a riot!! Above all, though, is the Fraker. It's Fraker time. He's your next American Idol, baby!!!!!! Oh, and hey Mr cowboy guy in the stupid black hat...I got two words for ya...

lol...so it's OUR fault now...

Totally agree. I was hooked within the first 20 min of the first episode.

Good call...I really enjoyed both that film and the sequel. Just really cool to see a dialogue driven film where the main characters are taking in the european scenery...both solid films and I agree about Delpy. She's still looking pretty good, actually.

Okay, why don't you post the promo or the AMC link that states that it's confirmed that four people will die before the season finale. It would have taken far less time to simply put spoiler tags around whatever information you had to share about future episodes.

You know it brother!

Two good suggestions...Amelie was really good. Audrey Tautau (sp?) is a very attractive lady.

Her whole speech was just stupid. Nobody cares about her "life experience", and if they care about it it's more likely to be viewed as a threat than it is anything else. Last night was the first time I got a real good look at Chelsea...she's smokin!

I don't know if you're new to the internet or what, but spoilers aren't just "inside information". When you say you've CONFIRMED something that is going to happen in the next few weeks, but has yet to happen, then that is a spoiler. And clearly it's not just me that feels that way, cause like four people have called you out on the issue, some have even done that twice. If you want to speculate, then great...go right ahead. If you want to talk about stuff that's already happened on the show, then great. But don't tell me a major plot point/twist/event that you KNOW is going to happen on a future episode that hasn't aired yet. It's not that hard to figure out.

It doesn't matter where you got the info from. I have no interest in knowing that you've "confirmed" that four main characters will die by the end of the season. Spoiler tags are very simple to do, so just use them.

Glad you enjoyed it Seems like most everyone who watches it really has fun with it...I find myself "missing" it, which is very odd lol. Even if it takes a while, I'm looking forward to S2...almost makes me want to move to Norway! haha
-
Are you allergic to spoiler tags?
-
wow lol...well I'll gladly work in hospital A, but when I'm admitted I want to be hospital B, as in "babes!"

Too much time on the farm, brother...fish can't talk

That's the one! Herve!!!!!! Definitely the same...I'm all about people watching. I think that's why I like reality tv. Even though it's not really "real", I'm always interested in the way others react and respond in a given situation. Wow! I think I saw JBoyst's arm in there toward the bottom of the list. That Hannibal Lector tatt is CRAZY good. I think you hit upon one of the aspects of all this that I have questions about. If I were to ever get a tattoo, it would be something that had a really deep meaning to me. I don't think I'd ever want to get one that was just some random tatt just for the sake of getting inked. Yet it seems like there are quite a lot of people who are more interested in the fact that they are getting ANY tatt than they are being very careful about what they choose. Even on the Ink Master show, the other night one of the human canvasses had some wicked psoriasis and he had to bail on the show. The guest judge who was there was like, "eh, fuggit...tatoo my knee" lol. I think it was just some beveled star or something random like that. The mentality of these folks is fascinating to me. And you really wouldn't want a tatt from Kat Von D?

Wanna buy JP Losman's house?
ajzepp replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is kinda weird, cause it seems like only yesterday we had a thread where we were discussing an article about JP buying this same townhouse. I can't believe it was that long ago. Sucks that the guy liked B-lo as much as he did, but didn't work out for him. -
I'm not happy with the decisions they've been making at Netflix, but for $8 or $9 bucks a month the streaming is worth it for sure. Theyre is way more stuff available than you could ever even make a dent in in terms of viewing it. They've been making some strides in getting better movies available, there are a ton of great tv series and documentaries available (including quite a few music-oriented docs) and depending on the device you use the streaming quality is very solid. If you have at least a basic speed DSL you should get decent image quality.

Good points. That's why I'm in favor of some sort of event where they don't have any choice whether to remain on the farm. Part of what was fun for me with regard to this show in the first season was that "where the hell do I go NOW?" aspect. I liked it better when they didn't have any sort of safe haven where they could be comfortable. The show is more fun - at least to me - where you are on edge for the entire hour because you literally just have no idea wtf is going to happen next. I really just want to see some epic zombie seen where hundreds and hundreds of them converge on the farmhouse, all hell breaks loose, and the main characters (all, most, some, whatever) escape by the skin of their teeth. I think that would be a great way to get that edge back to the show.

For whatever reason, as I've gotten older I've become fascinated by tattoos. I don't currently have any and don't have any plans to get one in the near future, but I've seen some art over the past few years that has just blown me away. I used to watch that show about Kat Von D's tattoo shop in LA from time to time, and lately I've caught this show called "Ink Master" on Spike TV. It's basically a competition among a handful of tattoo artists, and they compete by creating actual tattoos on real people. It's actually a really interesting concept, because you have the competition aspect of the show, but then you also have real people who are willing to get permanently inked up. The competitors are timed, and so that sometimes creates tension and trade-offs with regard to the type of tattoo they do for the "human canvasses". But what really impresses me is the art itself. These are some TALENTED people! Each week they focus on a different style...black and grey one week, traditional American the next, and most recently I saw an episode where they did photo-realistic tatts. Does anyone else find this form of art interesting? Anyone care to share their tattoo experiences or even photos of the work they had done? Or better yet, is anyone on here a tattoo artist and have some examples of your work?

HFBD Booster, you sumbitch!!

Oh okay, I guess I read into the expression too much then...that' too bad, that could have been fun

I can't wait. She's come up with some of the best stuff during the various roasts I've seen. I thought it was funny the look on Aiken's face when she and the other girls walked back into the suite after leaving the boardroom. Takei and Clay get up to greet her and she goes, "wow, what a big surprise...the two gay guys get up to greet us and everyone else just sits there", or something like that. I don't think Clay ever officially came out of the closet (I could be wrong), and the look on his face when she said that was priceless.

There is a foreign film on streaming getting a lot of buzz called Elite Squad: The Enemy Within. Here is the RT link... rotten tomatoes score = 95% And for those who missed it, check out my Lilyhammer thread...that's a fun show to watch, as well.
