    Marilla's one bar, the Marilla Grille, was torn down just a couple of months ago. End of an era for many of my high school friends. (I had my first beer there when I was like 14).

    When I was laid off from Yahoo, in my very last Slack message, the one thing I said I was going to miss was Arturo. Arturo was in EVERY sexual harassment video training for the 6 years I was at Yahoo, and he harassed the same poor girl every year.

    My wife and I have decided this with our pets. Her soul cat, a 17-year-old tortoise shell named Bella, has pancreatitis. It is treatable but my wife and I have had the talk about when the time comes, we will have her put down at home. She has been with my wife for 16 1/2 of her 17 years. I may have just my wife in the room when it's time for Bella to cross the rainbow bridge.
