  1. Although my favorite Cup story was the 1977 Canadiens. Guy LaFleur took the cup home the night the Canadiens won. He had a flat tire, so he took the Cup out of the trunk, and changed the flat. He gets home and his wife says, "Where the Cup"? He races back to where he changed the tire, and the Cup was sitting right there where he put it.
  2. You've heard of the keeper of the cup? It was the 1994 New York Rangers that brought that to reality. Think of the cup at strip clubs at 4am, and a blacksmith having to be called at 7am. (One of the attendants of the Cup at the HHOF told me all about it).
  3. She even looks like a Karen!!!
  4. https://www.radio.com/971theticket/sports/florida-woman-wants-tom-brady-to-apologize-over-trophy?utm_campaign=https%3A%2F%2F971theticket.radio.com%2F&utm_content=1613313360&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_term=WXYT-FM&fbclid=IwAR0bf__yPwnzSqvvVxa7l4IAg6-xtcewb8eeFbFZEpMqxNYQbeJ_aL9Lxcw Lorraine Grohs, who is the daughter of Greg Grohs, the master silversmith at Tiffany and Company from 1967 to 1994, who crafted the very first Vince Lombardi trophy, spoke to Southwest Florida Fox4 about it and she's not happy. "It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football," she said. In fact, she thinks Brady should apologize. "I personally would like an apology, not just to me and my family and the other silversmiths but to the fans, all the football fans the other team players,” Grohs said.
  5. This is a huge loss in the world of music. The very first album I bought at age 15 was RTF "Light As A Feather".
  6. Sorry. Didn't know you posted it.
  7. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/chick-corea-obit-1127283/ There was already another thread about this. Mods, please merge. Thanks.
  8. I like avocado's and healing crystals!
  9. I like Josh better. I can see him getting drunker than Brady at a Bills Superbowl parade. That's the mark of a great QB!
  10. You must be a hit at New Years Eve celebrations...
  11. I like how Rapoport clarified that the injury wasn't on the boat.
  12. So if something breaks we have to take the whole stadium to an authorized service center?
  13. There certainly is. We went to Bills playoff games during the 90's. His idea of tailgating was sitting in the truck with the heat full blast, eating a foot long sub, and drinking a 6 pack. Had some mighty good times with him. Thank you for the words regarding my wife's clean scan.
  14. Yes. The Nursing Home he is at has a "Green Card" system, where 5 family members are placed on the card, and they can come and go as they please. Only one family member at a time can visit dad. My wife, my sister and me are on the card. I was able to have a nice visit with him. I told him to say Hi to Mom for me, and he mouthed "Ok".
  15. I'm optimistic for another great Bills season! But you know, real life in between now and the next kickoff. The Good: My wife got another clean cancer scan. Next one end of May. The Bad: My dad is on end of life care in the nursing home he's in. It's ok though. He's given me some wonderful memories I'll cherish until my protons leave this body and go to their next formation.
  16. Great coach, better human. Rest in peace.
  17. I don't know weather to laugh or like that post.
  18. I voted to let him walk. Good player, but I think we can upgrade via draft/FA.
  19. And dare I say how the offensive coaches viewed who could get the ball in the endzone.
