What’s for Dinner?: New Year’s Edition
Draconator replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in Off the Wall
New Years Eve - Chinese take out. Shrimp Curry with rice for me, Pad Thai for my wife. Due to my wife's problems with spice post cancer radiation treatments, the Pad Thai was too spicy (although ordered extra mild), and the curry was way more flavorful than spicy, so we ended up switching meals. The kids has Sweet and Sour Chicken. Crab Rangoon all around for everyone. New Years Day - Traditional Southern meal - Pork, black eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread. -

On our way from Laughlin, NV to Oatman, AZ, we looked on Google Maps for the best way to get there. There were two routes that where the same time to get there, but one was way shorter. So my wife and I said lets take the shorter route. The shorter route was an unmaintained dirt road. Solvang, CA. Dutch Capital of US We traveled at the height of the pandemic. Solvang shut down Main Street and allowed restaurants to set up outdoor eating areas on the street. More Solvang -

No one in my family believes me. At 12:01 am on January 1st, 2112, I'm putting on side 1 of Rush's 2112. Listening to the whole side at maximum volume. When I hear "We have assumed control", I'll peacefully sleep. -
The pass is only as good as the finish. Great pass, great shot by Tuch.

Geddy has one of the most identifiable voices ever. I wouldn't say he has one of the best. Brad Delp is my favorite all time vocalist, that's why I put him at the top.

Caffeine - America’s #1 addiction - what’s your source?

My wife and I subscribe to Trade Coffee. Every month we get 2 bags of fresh ground coffee from a small roaster which could be located anywhere in the US. $25 a month for fabulous coffee. It's a luxury that became a necessity.
