exactly Clements...exactly. When the Yankees win...it's about payroll. When Boston wins....it's about team character. Yet they have the second highest payroll in the game.

You Sox fans are proving my point. Yanks fans don't care if you win or not. Well most of them don't..... They care only if they win. All the talk radio, commentary, TV I've been seeing isn't Yanks fans that are crushed. Acutally most of them seem to be thinking....good for them. BoSox fans root for the BoSox and whoever is playing the Yanks. Now that the BoSox have won it's more about "look at us, look at us!!! We are as good as the Yanks America!" it's not "look at us we are the best team in baseball!" And as far as me being an outside looking in.....we've got a ring from 1995 thanks. So in esscense in the last 10 years you are the same as the Braves, Angels, Dbacks...whereas over the last 10 the Yanks have 4 and the Marlins have 2.

Funny how when most teams celebrate it's about them. When the BoSox win...it's about the Yanks. I gotta a grand that says that the main cheer at the parade will be "Yankees suck"....if the Yankees would have won would you be hearing anything about the BoSox. This rivalry reminds me how Canada feels about the US. It's like anytime they accomplish something, rather than just feeling good about it they've gotta try and shove it in the American's face. You'd be better off ignoring them. Because in the end you are the best team in baseball for 2004. I'm just an outsider looking in folks.

Ever have an experience where you are doing something non sports related (getting groceries, going to the beach, getting gas, etc.) where you are wearing Bills, Yanks, Pats gear and someone makes a negative comment to you? Some ass made a comment this afternoon about the Bills sticker on my window while I was getting gas.....ticked me off....

The Angels choked???? They barely got in!!!! Christ if Oakland hadn't flamed out you wouldn't even of been there. Your team showed balls considering they had SO many injuries early in the year...but yet they choked???? Unbelievable. As you all know, or most of you know, I'm a Braves fan. When I went to Spring Training this year I saw potential...but honestly I thought the Phillies were going to take the division. Too many question marks. Then the Braves started out 32-38 in their first 70 games...a ton of injuries. I kept hoping they would get it turned around.....and they did. They went 42-15 at one point during the season. 42-15. I had two months of wonderful...JUST WONDERFUL...baseball. And they took the division again. I've got memories from this year that are just as good as 91, 92, 95 and 99. My team wasn't suppose to be there. But, they held out, made it and took it to 5 games against a much stronger team on paper. I'm proud to be a Braves fan. I'm proud of what they did this year. And while their are teams that have more than we do on paper...the Braves played with heart all year long. Something I haven't seen from the Bills in at least 6 years. And if you see it in your team you should be proud. Because from what I've seen the Angels, Cards, Astros, Braves, Dodgers and Twins all have heart. No, they didn't win it....but they made it. And in baseball that's a huge accomplishment.

The Cardinals are choking to a much lesser extent, but choking nonetheless. The haven't played this poorly all season and their base running blunders in the first 3 innings are a microcosm of what is going on. Amazing. ---------------------- The Cardinals got swept in a three game series against Houston in September....letting Houston in. I disagree....they have had these bumps in the road. Do I think they are going to come back. No. Choking???? No. Boston pitchers are making their pitches. And considering we are talking about Curt Schilling and Pedro Martinez they SHOULD be making their pitches. The Cards aren't as financially blessed as the BoSox....this is the first year in 4 that the Cards are actually showing a profit, even though the sell have one of the largeest fan base in the game.

lol.....their ERA was ranked in the top two in the MLB across a 162 game season. If you want to say their pitching has been terrible in this series then go ahead. But for me to say "Boston's defense is terrible" based on three games would be stupid. BF..if you are reading this stuff don't pay any mind......it's the same old same old...people want the Cards are a joke but yet somehow they fought their ass off to get to the WS. They are the second best team in baseball in my mind for 2004. Is that going to give any pride right now? No. But, did you expect to be watching the Cards in the WS when spring training began? If the answer in "no" then consider yourself fortunate. On the other hand...Boston was SUPPOSE to get to this point. They are SUPPOSE to be winning these games. They damn near choked away a series to the Yanks....they are on fire right now. Not much you can do about that.

So far in this postseason I've heard that the....... Cards have choked Astros have choked Yankees have choked Braves have choked but yet all along Boston has been the favorite.....how does that happen??? I mean don't you have to be favored to choke? The only real "choke job" I saw was the Yanks this year......

I'll be so glad when Boston wins it because they will just be another franchise. Thank freaking god. I'm sick of Red Sox "priceless" commericals, sick of Red Sox Nike commercials, sick of HBO Red Sox specials, sick of boohooing Red Sox fans, sick of hearing about "ghosts and curses". Just stupid. And now the emphasis will switch to the Cubs. Trust me BoSox fans...by next year you'll be wondering where all of your attention went. Congrats Boston. You are now just another franchise. Kinda like the Angels in a sense.......and I couldn't be happier.

women can read men like a book no matter their age...and if she is going out with him she is interested.... If you are going to get laid on your first date I doubt it's going to be a long term relationship anyways.....so if you are yourself and you get laid it's all good...I guess...if that is what you are looking for. If not then once again just be yourself..... The thing is...if you pretend who you are and don't get the outcome you are looking for then you will be left wondering what went wrong. I can only relate from my own personal experiences.....I always am me. Not only do you feel like you are being yourself...but you know how that other person is going to act around you as well. To me their is no dilemma........just do the right thing and you'll know the answers.

Here in Rochester both the radio and newspaper are slamming Drew hard. All calling for JP...I often wonder if they don't search these boards for info b/c a lot of the stuff in the paper is written after we discuss it.

I think it's good. We need a leader and for him to step up and show some freakin balls is huge. When is the last time we've seen some type of heart....I don't care if it is the rook. He has performed when Travis hasn't and should be the starter.
