I didn't see a "Lost" thread. If this is a repeat I apologize. I got around to watching it last night after the old lady finally turned off her soaps. Between DVR and "The Soap Channel" she watches all of them. Good thing Private Ryan was on earlier... anyways, I thought it was a great episode. Perhaps the best yet. It is still very interesting to me that in all the years in the world these folks couldn't get over their problems. They seemed to be storing them away deep in the back of their minds but now they are all letting themselves free from their past. I've heard elsewhere that people felt this was a slow show. That it really wasn't going anywhere. But, I totally disagree. It seems to me that they attempted to draw you in with the plane Rosen and the wierd animals.....that's what did it for me, but it has become a much more interesting story line that the typical "Day of Destruction" type of show. This is the most captivated by a TV series I've been since Band of Brothers.

Jak & Ratchet and Clank are great games! I spent many a winter day playing them. I also enjoyed Tony Hawk: Underground as well, but haven't checked out the 2nd version yet. GTA has been getting some mixed reviews. Some folks love it, some hate it. But, so has Halo 2. That's what usually happens when the hype machine gets too big. I can't think of one time when I was waiting for a game, movie, etc to come out and was completely satisfied when I got it. It's usually the stuff that sneaks up on you that makes you say "wow".

We can get pictures from Iraq of children bleeding in the street on national television but we can't show a documentary about a small story in WW2? Probably the most noble war we were involved in and it get censored b/c it's too gory and they say the f word??? If you don't want your kids to watch it and they are still up record it, put them to bed, TIVO it, DVR it.....

McGahee is so hyped by us b/c he's the first draft pick in forever that has actually produced when stepping in to his role. And I think he deserves the praise b/c when he has a bad game he's going to get the beating.

Adrian Beltre??? c'mon he deserves credit but no one is Bonds. HR RBI BA OBP OPS Bonds 45 101 .362 .609 1.422.........with 373 at bats Beltre 48 121 .334 .388 1.017.........with 598 at bats Pujols 46 123 .331 .415 1.072.........with 592 at bats Bonds commands more respect than either of these players. Each had 200 more at bats and had approximately the same output. If Bonds would have been pitched to and his averages remained the same he would have hit 72 HR and drove in 162 RBI. You can't tell me that Pujols or Beltre are at the level of Bonds b/c they aren't statistically.

I can't say that it has left my mind.....but the situation is bleak. Like someone else said...if we had gone 1-3 in the first four and 3-1 in the last four I'd like our chances...but not now. Not with a roadie in Seattle and NE still on the schedule. I think we'll finish 5-3 in our last 8.

I don't care who you root for...you are the one that called out long time members about their affiliation with the Boston Red Sox. Do I think the Bills are going to win? No. Am I optimistic? Yes. I HATE FLYING...I drive to Florida in March every year. But, my grandfather died in 2000 and I had to fly down for his services. I took one of those little ones from Rochester to DC and honestly I felt safer than the big ones. It's definately different. I had a good book to read and popped a couple pills...can't remember what they were...prior to flying and got through.

It's a game folks. It's a release from everyday stresses. .0000000001% of us will play professionally. So, let it be a release.
