I love going to Florida in the winter but I couldn't stand being there in the summer. ----- Steve, my brother-in-law moved down to Daytona Beach after getting out of college and was back within a year and a half. He moved back b/c he missed us, his family. That's the one reason I haven't gone anywhere. It's nice to have my kids around the family. They won't be here forever.

I wish somehow we could track how many NYers move down to Florida only to come back again within a few years. It seems like I know at least five couples that have done it.

I don't believe there is a large enough sample size to say he can't win a big game. The only games that we have to base that on was his freshman year in VT. Or his first year starting in Atlanta. Give the kid a couple years. I'm willing to say even this year and then make a determination on what he's all about.

Campy- this is his second year starting in the NFL full time. He was hurt for 13 games last year. He is learning a new offense this year while going 7-2. Then when people bring up the Green Bay game that they won you say it was the defense. But when his team loses it's his fault? That doesn't make any sense.

I haven't seen hogboy in a few months. Perhaps that is part of the legacy.....

Hey Jester, I can relate with you about being a threadkiller. Ice seems to be able to turn a topic on bears crapping in the woods in to at least a 25 post thread. It's unreal. He's by far the most read poster on here even if people say they hate him. He gets a response out of people.

I find Losberry intersting simply b/c he's the only one I know of in Rochester that has a talk show that will bring up the local issues and speak straight faced about them. But, hey that's just lil ol' me.

Let's keep wondering why the taxes in NYS are so high. ---------- NO DOUBT. I get sick of folks around here bitching about NYS taxes but then I see people working for the state who literally BRAG about the pension they get. Why is it that SSI is increasing on how old you have to be to get it but yet state employees only have to serve say 20 years in order to get 50% of their salary? How much in taxes are we paying to retired teachers who get an 66% of their average last 3 years salary which in the area I live in is anywhere between 60K-70K per year plus SSI plus deferred comp? If this was a business it would have been changed LONG ago. Oh BTW my property/school taxes are going up 18% this year. Meaning even with STAR my taxes will be $5000.00 per year with STAR. Without STAR you ask? $5800.00. My house is assessed for $150,000. I have a cousin in Arizona who's house is worth $500K. He pays $2800.00 per year. I know the arguement that my property taxes are going to pay retiree's salaries...but it's this mismanagement that drives me up the wall.

If he has a reputation of being injured an having a bum leg then it's up to management not to sign him in the offseason or the leadership on this team calling him out. I saw in in Atlanta when Chipper called out JD early in the season saying that even if he plays at 80% they need him in the lineup. JD went on to play in more games than he ever has the remainder of the year....and is probably going to get paid handsomely from some other team b/c of it. Gotta have leadership.......which the Bills lack. That being said.....I believe Troy isn't milking it b/c of the location of the injury.

A friend of mine who is a die hard Eagles fan said him and a lot of other Eagles fans used to accuse TV of the same thing: Taking too long to come back from injury. This is nothing new if you go ask Eagles fans. ---------- just curious how many of those Eagles fans are team doctors.

He's 34, he's still in the league. That should say volumes about the guy's drive to compete in itself. If he had a broken hand and was sitting out I would call it a problem. Not sure of the extent of the problem, though. I heard Mularkey on the radio this AM saying that he is getting better but he's not 100%.

yeah, an 80% corner against either Holt(if he plays) or Bruce makes sense..... it's not an arm injury, it's a knee injury and I'm sure if the guy could go and make a difference he would.

I've been waiting for that Atlanta game for 3 years. Can't wait to see Vick. The last time I got to see the Falcons play was live was when my wife was preggo with my daughter. My daughter in now 8 years old. That was the game Kelly broke the CB's leg on a pick off return. I'll wear my Brooking jersey with my Bills cap. That's what I was thinking too Duey. Everyone in this show is dealing with their past on different levels right? Jack with his dad, Sawyer with his dad, Sayed with his love, Locke with his handicap, Oriental (no offense to anyone) folks with their lifestyle, Charlie with his brother and the drug problem. My opinion is that they are not dead they are merely finding ways to deal with their past because of their isolation....and they are becoming better people. As far as last nights show. I thought it was great. I don't understand everyone wanting to rush to the end of the story. Isn't the meat & potatoes of this show the character development? Don't you look at Sawyer in a totally different light now b/c of his father? Don't you feel for the princess b/c of her asthma? Don't you find it interesting that even thought they are stranded on an island the black father still is finding it hard to find time with his son b/c he gets himself involved with other things?

T, I have this problem in my one tub. It's been that way since we bought the house. Initally I would dump a bunch of Liquid Plumber Gel down the drain. But, it only lasted a month at most. So, I took out the plunger and went to work on the drain. It's amazing how much "stuff" you can get out with the plunger alone. I did that then dumped another bottle of Gel down the drain and now it works like brand new.

And seeing I brought up the bonus. Everyone knows it's illegal to have a team laden contract in MLB right? But yet Curt is getting an extra 3 million for winning the WS b/c it's in his contract....somehow MLB missed this when reviewing the contract but approved it. Then when they realized it was not legal it was already binding so there was nothing they could do....I smell something rotten.

I highly doubt that they will sign all three. Especially with Curt's bonus kicking in for 2005.

I thought they were going down to meet with Pavano? Either way I'd like to see the Braves name get mentioned there but it'll never happen b/c they got too much money tied up in that dominate ace Mike Hampton.

I agree Orange. We'll win this one against the Rams simply b/c we are playing at home against an overrated team. Let's face it they are one game better than the Cardinals right now who we pummelled at home. But, the Seattle game we will lose 45-17.
