I was looking over the remaining NFL Schedule and noticed that there is going to be games on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of December. 4 days of football games!!! That rocks!!!!

The killer is my sister-in-law didn't want to cook b/c she wants to spend time together. Is she expecting to go somewhere on Thansgiving day? Everything is closed? Why? SO PEOPLE CAN COOK TURKEY.

I can relate. Where I work there are 12 guys in the entire place. There are 107 women. I'm the only guy in a department of 10. Here's what you do. Get to know them well seperately but avoid their groups. That can be the kiss of death. If you do this they will feel comfortable coming and talking to you because they know you but won't lose respect for you if you aren't in their click. Another thing, DO NOT go out to lunch with just a couple of them otherwise the other kitties will get mad and hold a grudge against you. Lastly, good luck.

Well I found out today that my sister in law purchased a frozen meal that only has to be warmed up and serves 10 people. Turkey, potatoes, pie...everything comes in it. I'm a little disturbed seeing I'm driving 6 hours tomorrow(Detroit) to get there and I can't even get a fresh turkey dinner for Thanksgiving??? And that means no Turkey sandwiches either.... I'm seriously considering giving her a call and offering to bring the bird with me and cook it on Thursday. I don't want a packaged meal for Thanksgiving, it's suppose to be about cooking the meal. Argh I'm disturbed by this. Dib, that sounds freaking awesome. Any chance you can wrap one up and mail it to me?

Dont get me wrong, I have oodles of respect for the Patriots...but they are kidding themselves if they think they can beat the red-hot Steelers in Pittsburgh in the playoffs. ---------------------------------------- Personally, I wouldn't favor a rookie QB over Brady in the AFC Championship game anywhere. Yes, Pittsburgh beat them but the playoffs are different. And Dillon didn't play in that game. And I hate the Pats unlike some of you. While they are an AWESOME team I wouldn't mind seeing them fall.

Man, I didn't realize there was that big of a savings. The same thing in the 32" was $604.00. To me it wasn't worth it when it was almost twice as much. Also, I've decided to never take my wife with me when buying electronics. I was at the store for nearly 4 hours because I had to make her understand why we were better off with the 27" flat screen that a 32" regular tube. Typical woman. Bigger is better. And wouldn't you know now she loves it.

So now, if we suspend Artest for 10 games, and let him back, what will that do? NOTHING. He is a loose cannon that CANNOT CONTROL HIMSELF. He is like a giant version of a kid with ADD. He needs help. Hopefully the NBA will get him into an ager management course or something. ------------------- If Stern thinks the guy has anger problems then calling him out in front of billions of people and not offering any help other than "I'm taking your job away for a year" is going to help this guy? Yes, he needs help. But, I can't see how Stern is helping the problem. Treat him like an adult and talk to him about it one-on-one.

My 27" TV (piece of crap Daewoo) blew up last week after 2 years of service. I never buy expensive TV's simply b/c I'm cheap. So, I went up to Best Buy and bought a 27" SONY WEGA flat screen. Love it. And it was only $350.00. No HDTV simply b/c I didn't want to spend the extra money. But, if you are in the market for a TV they have a special going on where there is no interest until January 2007. I try not to charge anything...but that was just way to good to pass up.

I'm heading to Detroit Wednesday night to spend the holiday with my in laws. We might actually end up going to the Heat v. Pistons game on Friday. Brother-In-Law is looking to get ticks from his corporate world. I'll be sure to bring my riot gear.

Just to play devil's advocate, how many 12 year old girls are hurt by half full cups of water? I also think that Artest was about to get a shot off at that fan when he was bear hugged from behind. Still, I tend to agree with you about Jackson being the biggest offender. It seems clear that this is the area in which Stern looked at Artest's prior offenses. Unless Artest got a stiffer penalty due to being the first one into the crowd. That would be a kind of weak reason to give Jackson a lesser penalty IMO. ---------------------------------------- Stern was just plain wrong in saying that he looked at his past prior to making a decision. If that was his basis he should have kept it to himself.
