No, he's American. His name is Burt Rutan. Won the X Prize...10 million if you can fly in to space twice in two weeks.
Here is some more info if you are curious.

No, but I did watch 60 minutes. There was a great brief about a man who has developed space travel for the private individual. It was very interesting.
Yes. Same material. In the program it said the show has been running since 1991. I had no idea it had been going on for that long.
I was in NYC in 1998 and ran in to the original guy, with the dreads, on the street. A bunch of people recognized him and asked for his autograph and he stop and signed a bunch.
So many opinions on here I thought I'd add mine too.
I went and saw Stomp yesterday at 2 so I missed most of the game. That's 2 in a row I've missed and we won both....ugh.
Anyways, my mother loved it. She thought it was a great birthday present so I got huge kudos.
As for me I thought it was unbelievable. Those kids up there are just so frickin talented it's sick.
If anyone hasn't seen it I highly recommend seeing Stomp. And if you've got a mother who is around 50 it makes a great birthday present.
Dan,
I went to see Metallica/Godsmack about a month ago. They had a rotationing stage with two drumsets on it. the drummer for Godsmack was dueling with the lead singer for about 10 minutes.
I love Metallica...but that was the BEST part of the show. It's was unbelievable watching them work off each other.
Well I'm going to miss watching the game on Sunday b/c I bought tickets for my mother to see Stomp at 2 PM. Gotta take care of the old gal, it's her birthday.
Has anyone been to it before?
T.O. and Eminem have very little in common. Other than being entertainers and doing trend-setting things, they have nothing else in common.
-----------------------
that makes a whole lotta sense.
I've been catching episodes on Nick at Nite recently. That show would be a hit TODAY and it strikes me how little progress we've made as a society since it was in its heyday.
-------
no way would that show even be on the air as a regular prime time spot today.
They're not actors, they are football players.
--------
LOL...football, check that, all sports are testosterone drama. It's no different than my wife watching General Hospital.
And the stars are the main actors in the game.
The main characters don't even know them. They were messing up the names at one point.
------------
I thought that was funny....seeing that almost all the shows have been about character development and then they mess up someone in the backgrounds name like it doesn't matter.
Funny stuff.
I lasted about a month with Madden and got bored with it. Ended up back on MVP Baseball. MVP is my choice for game of the year. I've been playing it since March.
GTA:SA is a great game. A wonderful game. If you have time to play it. That's my trouble right now is that if I want to play PS2 right now I don't have a ton of time so I just throw MVP in for a half an hour and play. I need a couple hours if I'm gonna sit with GTA.
Is it worth buying a new PS2 for??? I would say go rent a PS2 from Blockbuster and the game and check it out for yourself first. If you aren't drawn in then you are only out about $30.00 rather than $200.00. But, it's still dropping cash on an unknown.
gotcha...but I don't think it's going to get much lower than the $150.00 you can pay now.
I got mine for $150 with the internet adapter, controller and a game.
I thought it was interesting when Jack was sitting with A. Lilly that he said they could hopefully get off the island but they both seemed remorse about it. And as far as we know they were both loners. They are growing together and becoming a large family....very interesting.
It seems to me that they all are giving up their pasts for the good of their future without any side effects. Charlie giving up the drugs, Jack giving up his father, Locke giving up his wheelchair. When Locke ran in to the "monster" or whatever it was he seems much more confident and comfortable being there. Same with Jack same with Charlie.
Are they all truly lost or are they really becoming found????
