  1. Schobel and Moorman....
  2. and I agree with BF on that point. The problem is that typically the team with the best record hasn't been playing for anything over the last month because they locked up the playoff spot a while back. As much as BF can be a pain in your ear...I don't think he's whining about this. Now, when Boston was down 3-0 against the Yanks and most folks around here were complaining about the Yanks payroll it was supposedly "justified".
  3. Losman will be under MORE pressure than Kelly not matter what the Bills do from here on.
  4. Vick is struggling...and when your team is down by 4 TD's it's not worth risking the injury when you are struggling. But, the Falcons are still 5-2, 3-1 and 9-5-1; 1-1 playoffs = 18-9-1 with him under center. Not to blow smoke but he is learning a new system....and let me tell you if the Bills were 5-2 right now I'd be happy.
  5. My wife who works Sundays came home from work last night. She doesn't give a crap about the Bills...but the first thing out of her mouth was "So, how bad did the Bills get beat today." It's no longer an exception........it's the rule.
  6. Did you paint the box white?
  7. There wasn't any conclusive evidence. The ball didn't change directions. It was the right call. They should have caught up to him.
  8. the difference between those teams and ours is that they ALL have excuses. Miami- injuries & the pot head Cincy- rookie starting QB Chicago- lost Grossman Carolina- lost Smith & Davis San Franciso- obvious transition year What is ours??? That our QB is handicapped?
  9. My little guys love it.....it's those darn teenagers and their evil thoughts.
  10. A lot of people have had it since last week. I could have it right now...but I'm not in to pirating software simply b/c it's immoral.
  11. lol..... Reggie Sanders is weak???? Matheny get paid for his defense and in the NL they don't cheese to get another bat in the lineup. What is weak is that comment. Especially considering you guys haven't played a single game at Busch yet.
  12. New York, NY - October 25, 2004 - Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing division of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has shipped to retail stores in North America. Developed by Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be in stores in Europe on October 29th, 2004. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the next installment in the gaming franchise that has sold over 32 million units to date, including over 13 million units of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and over 11 million units of Grand Theft Auto 3. Additional information about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available at http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas Somehting else worth mentioning is that a number of retailers (EB and GameStop, for example) have said they will begin selling the game at 7pm tonight in North America to those who pre-ordered it. But then, most with pre-orders probably got a call informing them they could pick up their copy, so if you did, you probably already know this. Whatever the case, good luck getting your copy. If you haven't pre-ordered it, it might be a good idea to try non-game-specific stores such as toy shops and department stores early tomorrow, as the traditional game retailers will surely be busy... ------------------------------------------------- 5.5 hours......I haven't been this exciting over something non-family related since the Bills were 2-0 last year.
  13. Unbelievable. Hey TD I think the fan base doesn't need your scrutiny considering they are turning out in droves to see a team that is 1-5. Jackass. Fire him Ralph. Look at what Pitt is putting together not that he's not making decision.
  14. Schobel getting around Ogden twice..... nice job kid.
  15. Simple....No Leadership by example.
  16. Can't tell if that's sarcasm.... Oh well, I like the idea that the team with the best regular season record should get homefield when it comes WS time.
  17. BF.....I like your proposal simply because it would make the end of the regular season a lot more interesting for those teams still in the race and wouldn't hinge on the outcome of a meaningless game. The problem is it makes sense so good ol' Bud Selig isn't going to do it.
  18. They did take advantage of them in game 1.....they just didn't seal the deal. Scott Rolen popped out with the bases loaded with one out in 8th on the first pitch he saw....he's still gotta be rehashing that one in his mind....then the team with the second highest team salary in baseball but somehow the media want them to be a "feel good" story, don't try to sell me crap, score in the bottom 8th and it's over...Rolen is wayyyyy too good to be doing that garbage.
  19. BF....advantage Cardinals. No DH = David playing first and one less bat in the lineup. The way baseball is played in every single league outside of the pro's. The pitcher is suppose to hit. It's an intergal part of the game and leads to more strategy. The Cards aren't built to play in the American League. They are a National League team. You've GOT to take these three. Don't worry...the Yanks and the Cards were up 2-0 in both the ALCS and the NLCS. Both went the distance. And the Cards have yet to lose a game at home in the postseason. Pedro is going to be tough....but let's not forget Suppan shut down the Stros lineup....which is just as good as the BoSox.
  20. Honestly..........I think we already had our shot.
  21. Thurman.....how about the fact that game five of the NLDS between Houston was nothing more than an advertisment for Boston v. Yanks. It was sickening.... They didn't even have the FRIGGIN PITCH SPEED on the screen. I swear to god it's the worst baseball coverage I have ever seen. EVER. I don't care if it doesn't get as good rating as Yanks v. Boston. Houston and Atlanta both have some very proud fans. Well, at least Houston does...and the crap that Fox put on there is totally disrespectful to the fans and ownership of the Braves and Astros. The only thing I like about Fox is Joe Buck. And, I think Al Leiter was great in his time during the ALCS.
  22. Interesting that both Mularkey and TD are gone from Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is 5-1. Buffalo is 1-5.
  23. Isn't a near capacity crowd when the team is 1-5 enough of a sign???? When did it become "OK" to root for failure?
  24. What's messed up about it? Cancer eats away at your cells causing failure and finally collapse. Drew eats away at your team causing failure and finally collapse. Let's root for Drew on his individual milestones!!!! How about we root for a frickin winning team in Buffalo. Hey that's a novel idea! I'm sure Tom Brady is REAL concerned with his career passing yard total in the seventh game of the season. Oh, what's that? He isn't?? He's concerned with winning b/c they actually have a meaningful season ahead of him for the fourth consecutive year??? Give me a break. Boo him. Go back to Montana, start up a clinic for young families and while you are at it take the people with blinders on with you.
