  1. Getting professional pictures taken with an animal. Dog, cat whatever pet you have. There are people in my office, none of which have children, who get professional pictures taken with their animals. Almost all of them, the people, are in their early 30's. When people show them to me I often have a hard time holding back my laughter.
  2. Great article in ESPN the mag about him. Very interesting kid. I shoulda went...loved watching those snowmobile races during the X games. Cool as hell!!!
  3. I always wondered what the tax implications looked like for American citizens players of hockey, MLB who play for Canandian franchises. Some day I'll look it up.
  4. No, I don't think they will. I'd live in Alaska if some one offered to pay me 2-3 million per year for 3 or 4 years. Yeah, so what the taxes are high. I know if i live there my children will go to some of the best public schools in the country and I won't have to foot an additional bill to send them to private school. But, if I want to I still could afford to because I'm making a killing anyways. As much as I dislike paying $4400.00 per year between school and real estate taxes at least I know my children are getting a good education. And they only have 15 people in the classroom with them. Maybe I'll move later on, but for right now I'm content.
  5. If I laugh at that I fear I'll be damning myself.
  6. I thought there was a police problem. Can I ask why there were three Rochester cops doing traffic control at the Eastman house yesterday at 4 PM for the Academy Awards celebration? And you call us 315ers guffaws....
  7. No Captain I'm sure his parents have one.
  8. Hey guy, I sometime go over to this one if I'm looking for some info or board. Never posted on it before but it's the one I have in my directory. http://www.redszone.com/forums/index.php? I'm curious as to what is going to happen with Ryan Freel. I mean now you got Randa and Aurila, but a fast guy in Freel. Are they going to throw him in the OF and even if they do who are they going to move? Personally after watching Milton with the Phils, he reminds me of a left handed Russ Ortiz. He's got enough to get the job done but he'll never wow you with his stuff.
  9. He hasn't hit more than 46 in a season since. BTW, Maris never hit more than 39 prior to 1961.
  10. That pic gave me the heebeegeebees. I'm pretty sure you couldn't get any with any crimes with that mug. At least on earth.
  11. Tell me how you are going to go back and time and find out who cheated? Speculation from Jose Canseco? When Yankee and Red Sox SPRING TRAINING tickets are going $20-$40 over face value on ebay and attendance continues to increase 10-15% across the board per year it's going to be hard to boycott what is still the second most popular sport in America.
  12. A lower opinion of baseball fans? Isn't that being a tad bit too general. Not that you seem to care but the Bonds issue to me is a mute point. Baseball knew what was going on in the late 90's but needed to get people interested in the game again after the strike in 94. They knew at some point it was going to come out in the open and they would deal with it then. Now it's out in the open and the point where baseball is back nearly as popular as it was prior to the strike. No matter what people want to say about Bonds, Giambi, McGwire, Sosa, etc. they revitalized a game that was sagging horribly prior to the 1998 season. They are the ones who brought the game back to it's glory. Say what you want to about cheating but keep in mind not one of these sluggers made an ounce of difference on a WS team. I hate the fact that baseball has to go through this and I'll be glad when it's over but just because something you enjoy gets a black eye doesn't mean you just walk away. The games will still be played. Oh, and I can still take my four year old son to witness a game in person. Unfortunately the same can't be said about going to a football game.
  13. oh trust me I've made many. And I always admit it....
  14. I'm sure Vinny's were too.
  15. Hey VA, before you go and make stupid quotes go check the numbers. Washington had one sack in the first meeting AND FIVE IN THE SECOND.
  16. I wonder how much Greggo is salivating.....his man boobs must be awfully perky this morning.
  17. tell me that's not brilliant. The boy scouts set up outside of Kmart near the exits....
  18. I don't like scary flicks, like where people jump out at you and crap. But, I like good stories even if they are demented. This is what it sounds like "Saw" is about so I'll check it out next weekend. I did watch "The Forgotten" this weekend. Great movie. If you haven't seen it it's worth the time.
  19. My pick is Jamie McMurray
  20. Losman might end up a coach-killer, a guy who can have big games, and tease a coach to the ultimate ruin of both careers. See Rob Johnson. --------------------- rut roh Shaggy.....It's just an article right?
  21. I'm definately curious to see what JP looks like, but he's got a lot of time to put in before we get the opportunity. It's awesome that you are so enthusastic though.
  22. I wouldn't say his career is over yet. He's still got plenty of time left. With the surplus of OF's the Reds have I still can't believe they wouldn't try to move the guy to another position. At this point/age Barry Bonds had 445 home runs. Junior has 501.
  23. Out of shape? http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/apphoto/pho...6296&sportId=10 Yeah, what a fatass Here's one of Danny Graves. Tell me he doesn't smoke a little bud in the offseason. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/apphoto/pho...6455&sportId=10
  24. I think that's why they ran it as the headline.
  25. To a great guy, happy birthday R. Rich!!!
