That absolutely sucks. I could relate to his last line about it being a business. I think we all know it is. It's really sad though that if I get two tickets and a bus trip to NYC for me and my son for two days to watch the Braves it's going to run $800.00. That's a lot for my family. But, then again there are people out there in LA scooping up 30K seats with no questions.

I believe the Sports babe is the one to coin the phrase "First time, long time."

I'll answer this from my perspective when I was 19.....I dunno. Honestly, I think it was my the thrill of reaching out my window and grabbing it than actually wanting the cone. Although, I imagine that construction equipment, signs, flashing lights, cones, etc, would make some cool decorations for a 19 year old.

I was 19 and stole a orange cone off the highway while sitting in heavy traffic. Guy behind me reported me. I couldn't believe they actually arrested me.

You hit that nail right on the head R.Rich. I don't bother to listen to the guy and I think cold pizza is a waste of time with him on there. I give everyone a fair chance to earn my listening ears.

BRH- I love reading these stories. I'll share a couple of mine. 1) 1997 Skydome. Roger v. Neagle. Both in contention for the Cy Young award at this point. It was the first interleague game ever at Skydome. Braves won 3-1 Chipper hit a bomb off Roger. The best part was watching Greg Maddux throwing balls against the OF wall in warm ups. A Jones was standing against the wall with his legs spread and Maddux was about 90 feet away and throwing pitch after pitch between his legs and never came close to hitting him. It was awesome. 2) Silver Stadium early 90's Wings v. Pawtucket. This game was awesome for me because I got Chris Hoiles autograph and some huge guy from Pawtucket gave me one. I couldn't tell who he was from his autograph so I waited until he came up to bat to see who he was. It was Mo Vaughn. 3) 2000 AAA Allstar game in Rochester. I was working for Xerox at the time and got free tickets. Got to see tons of all-stars. It was awesome.

Va you hit it right on the head IMO. People love the game too much to face the truth about the precious game of football. So much has come out that has been ignored. 1. The Denver Broncos cheated the cap system in 1997 & 1998 and won the SB. They cheated and won the SB twice. Here let me say it again. They cheated and won the SB TWICE. Why didn't they have their title taken away? 2. It's coming out that there was cheaters in football back in the mid 80's. I didn't know it. None of these players should make the hall of fame and if suspected they should be put in front of Congress.

I'll share my story. I suck at fixing things. I bought my first home and thought I could do it....nope I sucked. Sold it and bought one built in 2000. Payment is more and honestly I still spend a crap load in upgrades.... Bottom line...no matter which you choose you'll end up spending a lot over time.

Hey Mike, Are you going to be going in for a scope? Here's the thing. About a year and a half ago I started getting tons of problems down there. Inflammation, dirrahea, abcessess the whole nine yards. My gastro doc said "it's looking like Chron's." I was scared. I have a friend that has it that just had six feet of her small intestine removed, she's 23.So I had a sigmoid done and they didn't see any issues. Then about six months late they did the full colonoscopy and still didn't find anything. Come to find out it's an extreme case of IBS and I just have to be careful with what I eat. I still get trouble here and there but with regulation I'm OK. Bottom (tee hee) line, get the scopes so they are sure. Good luck guy, I'll be thinking of you.

Wow, from Marketing to Underwriting? From what I've seen most marketing folks are more like you, outgoing, charismatic whereas most underwriters are quiet and aloof. Congrats, guy! That's awesome you found something so quickly.
