1. Since we're talking video games has anyone checked out "Mercenaries?" I've been playing it for the last couple weeks. It's great fun.
2. Nizon has a world series ring last time I checked ........AROD has NOTHING!!! 242151 I dunno about having nothing. The guy makes $25 million dollars per year. And let me help you out here. It N-I-X-O-N. I think Nizon is the Japenese guy the Yanks have been eyeing up....
3. That does suck. And a lot of times if a DC has success they won't sign as a DC b/c they want the HC positions.
4. It's just a car. Now if it was one of those new Dodge Ram Rumble Bee's.... http://www.dodge.com/ram_performance/index.html
5. Can't blame him. He's got to want to prove himself after seeing what Brady has done.
6. the World Champion LF!! 241611 He plays rightfield. Manny plays left. Glad to see you are a diehard fan.
7. Right now my Bills QB is Vick (there is a suprise) with Rohan Davey as his backup. McAllister at RB, WR's of Korean Robinson, Randle El and Bethel Johnson. Bethel can absolutely fly.
8. Don't put any weight in to that appearance by JP. None what so ever. Give the kid the full year to make up your mind.
9. Chandler would be an awesome mentor for JP. But, I'd only get him as a 3rd stringer. And then the cost would be too high.
10. They were poised to win in 2002. They were poised to win in 2003. As a matter of fact Drew basically guaranteed a playoff spot. 2004 was an unknown and they have their best season of the Drew era.
11. The move needed to be made. The cost between Drew and the weapons he needs to be successful won't be nearly as much as giving the rook a go and working around what he needs. I haven't seen nearly enough of JP but I assume that Mularkey, TD and Wyche have seen enough to make this decision. I think we can be successful in 2005 even though JP is going to play like a rookie. Let's face it folks we won 9 this year with Mr. Washed up behind center.
12. Didn't he have the twitchy eye??
13. I thought they were just doing that for one game?
14. I agree Bledsoe could have played "better" but I also don't solely blame him for that loss.
15. When did he retire? I heard he may but nothing definate.
16. But, with a seasoned veteran this is going to be much easier. I'd like to see them get someone as early as possible. But, what is wrong with holding out a few months to save a few bucks, having Shane be the number 2 until then and then in May or June seeing what is left on the cheap for veterans.
17. His coming out party started with a mobile QB under center.
18. Yes, and he brings a ton of experience to the table. My short list would be Vinny Kitna Warner Johnson, Brad Maddox whoever we can get for cheap....and in one way or the other they all can be moved.
19. But, to blame it on a QB that led his team down the field to set up a FG which potentially could have been a TD if Josh Reed wouldn't have thrown an illegal pick is fair? I don't understand how you can't see how the momentum shifted after that FG. The D allowed the 3rd stringers to walk all over them after that point, but yet not one mention of how porous they were. Instead, it's Drew couldn't get it done against the 3rd stringers.
20. Talk about a cursed day...it's Steve McNair's too...all three just a little short in the biggest game of all.
21. The Eagle Tribune? What is that some college blog?
22. Or he could have throw the ball to his covered hot reciever and had the pass returned for an INT. There wasn't anywhere to go. I'm coming off as a Bledsoe defender but I'm not. I'm ready to see JP play because of the aggregate results of watching Drew. I'm merely defending that one game. Seriously why not look at the series prior to the INT series and the fact that we drove the ball 12 plays 61 yards for 0 points. Then our D allows a 65 yd run to set up a Pitt FG. Next series is the INT. Next series in nothing for us on O, then the D allows a 8 minute drive to seal the deal. Bledsoe leads us down the field after that to get the game within a 5 points and we kick a bad onsider. It wasn't Bledsoe fault, he was involved in the problem but this game was not totally on his shoulders.
23. Yes, you are right it wasn't a blindside blitz. I made a mistake. But, I know how forgiving the board is about those. He looked left initally and by the time he looked back the blitzers were on him. He obviously did know where his "outlets" were b/c he was reading the left side while his right was getting blitzed. Unfortunately your hot route doesn't make a damn bit of difference if the blitzer is in your face in a millasecond. I'm not comparing the two but I remember Peyton Manning making the same mistake against the Pats in the first week. It happens. It wouldn't have happened if Lindell would have made the FG b/c the Bills would have been able to play a more conservative game after the FG.
24. Well said. If there could be a tag line to define Drew's career that would be it.
25. Momentum...we had it after the Clements int return and lost it after Lindell FG missed. I agree Drew didn't lead his team down the field after that missed FG but he put his team in the position to win that game. I blame Lindell, Josh Reed, the Defensive unit allowing a 14 play drive in the fourth quarter that ran 8 MINUTES off the clock to a 3rd string offense.
